Edition Eleven Planning.

Okay, so i need to know big time if my "editors of sections" are still wanting to be editors of sections, because the only person who did their section without any problems was Pamela, and i really need the help from the rest of the editors of sections. So please, let me know now.

Right, planning time, I'm going to open separate threads(eventually), post them as announcements, and title them as follows:

Chatter
Compys


These threads will be where you post work, and towards the release date, we will have another sign in thread, please make sure you ALL sign in there if you want to receive your house points for next edition as its easy for me to make a mistake and miscount.

So, lets begin planning.

This edition's campaign is Depression, and we have a few articles and interviews being done already, Lesley has made some wonderful graphics so far as well, we'll need around 9 graphics for the campaign itself, so if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to tell the graphic girls.

Please send all Editorials to Pamela as usual.

any ideas for compies let Matthew know, and Matthew, can you keep me up to date with the compie entries for this edition please, thank you. I'll PM Huffie House to encourage they enter.


And can someone track down Streamers, i want an Opinion for the new Edition and if i must hold her hostage then i will, thank you.

Also, we need an idea for Celebsville!

Remember, when asking to do something for the edition, if you dictate to me, i'll say no, so ask.

Oh yeah. Those too, although I forgot about the staff thing. Where were those questions again. I really need to write down everything I'm doing. Hmm...here's an idea. I'll stick it in a post in my office.

Would it be okay if I'll have another set of the two articles I've had for Edition 10? The Wizarding Item's Muggle Equivalents and the Fast Pack of Muggle Facts.

And I'm thinking if maybe, I can make a Feature Review?? Where I, or you, or all of us will choose among the songs you might be featuring for this edition, then I'll go read between the lines. Though, I'll be deciphering it spiritually and inspirationally.

I dunno, if I've worked well on my words to explain the thing, but I hope I did. Hehe. You can yell at me anytime if I'm not making any sense, anyway.

Finally, for the Pixies name. I'm a bit of a name nerd. XD I love giving names and making-up ones, so I got these names for the Pixie from my book of Fairies and Pixies Names:
Eolanda = meaning violet flower and Iduna = God of Poetry.

I don't want to feature too much of the same thing in regard to the muggle items, which is something Stephy writes as well, however, i will use your muggle equivalant piece and if there's no other Muggle stuff i'll use the second one.

As for the feature review, i'm not sure i understand, as you know i hold the Music review close to my heart and only once allowed another member to work on it with me, when we both reviewed the album and that was the Funhouse CD review, which was alot of hard work, tiring, copying and pasting and editing here and there, anyways, if it helps you explain what you mean i can reveal that i will be reviewing the new Green Day Album, 21st Century Breakdown.

And........you should send your names to Matthew, although i think there was a rule of one name per person ... i must send him mine.

Okay, so I've mislead you guys. Sorry.

Well, it goes like this, I'll go take one of the songs from the Green Day Album, 21st Century Breakdown. Then, I'll read between the lines of the song and do everything I can in order to show the faith and inspiration that the lines tells each of us.

So, it's like I'll be showing a different side of the song. Have it to be not just a good song but an inspirational one at the same time. Did that made sense? Or am I still have you misleaded? Anyway, I can't blame you, I'm not that good at explaining most of the time. >.<

I think i understand, you'll take one song off the album and phsyco-analyise it (forgive my spelling i am having a missing brain day) finding the deeper meaning within the lyrics and giving your take on the song. I actually like that idea, if i've understood properly lol. My only concern would be how to fit it into the review/make it work. And also, from what i've heard of the Green Day album (i've listened to it once then on Friday i'll listen to it about 5 times before giving my verdict, possibly less if i really dislike the song) i'm just wondering if you'll find "faith and inspiration" in one of the songs, also, how would you go about choosing the song? Would you pick from the song titles or from the lyrics themselves?

Actually I can either ways. But I have to be careful in picking, right? So, I think I'll credit both the lyrics and the title.

Well, I've looked up for the songs that are compiled in that album of Green Day and I've found two songs that I think I can manage to take out of the "dark" and bring it all the way to the "light".

So, the songs were: Last Night On Earth and See The Light.

Now, as I've read the song "See the Light", if you'll also choose that song - if ever you'll say yes I can do make this article - I can connect it to "depression". I dunno how it sounds to other people as they hear or read it's lyrics, but I do think I can make an enlightening thought through this against depression, problems and all. I may include stuffs that are important in life. And it don't sound bad at all, as I've heard it for the first time. hehe

Sashi, you have read my mind, when i read what you wanted to do orginally, i thought automatically of this song and i thought of what we're making our campaign for this edition.

See the Light for me is about the fight against someones personal demons, be it depression, addiction, anything, its trying to find a reason to fight to hope, to live.

Ok right, I'm still thinking about whether or not I'll carry the compies from edition 10 on for edition 11. I'm going to do a few editorials and Stephy, don't worry I haven't forgotten about the rp thing... I'm just finding time to work on it.

Please Pickles, if you can do editorials that will be great. I've gotten none thus far.

I shall I've started working on the schools one already. Ermm Pams, I hate to bring this up but I think it's time you had a reserve for the editorial section. I dont think I need to remind you but your baby's coming soon and well. If you like, in the event of you having lil' pam between now and the end of the pensieve I will take up the position and still let you have the housepoints... because you need all the housepoints you can get with a baby on the way xD (Not that you're really gona care at the end of the day xD) But yes, in the event of lil' pam coming you should have a reserve xD Yea and your position would stay open for your return... just a thought.

Actually, Matt i've been thinking about this for a while.

I was going to ask you to do Maternity cover whilst Pam was away. You would get the house points you deserved, though. Tis only fair.

But you'd need to still run the compies page as well, let last months compies re-run. Maybe you could even build up a stash of Editorials so that when Pam returns theres many to choose from for each edition, i could even open a special thread just for the Editorials as well.

It will only be temp because i want Pam to come back, and you can keep her up-todate with what you have done etc and whats happening.

That's great! I wouldn't want to take her place for ever... wouldn't be able to sleep at night xD

Thanks, Matt! That would really take a load off my shoulders. I'll be able to do edition eleven most likely. I don't think I'll be going into labor as early as July 25. I hope not anyway. I wouldn't be overly shocked, however, if he showed up by August 1. If that's the case, maybe we'll run to T.J.'s grandma and grandpa's place to at least check out the new edition. I don't want to miss out on it.

If you guys didn't see my absence note in the notice board, please don't be too alarmed if I seem to be a bit M.I.A. I'll be updating my Twitter account from time to time, and I'll be popping on here, too, if for no other reason than to show that I'm alive and well. I have every intention of keeping my commitments to the Pensieve, though. Never fear!

ARGH! Editor's Babble! Oh lordy! I've still loads to do, i've been trying to motivate myself to write the album review but its not happening, guess i have choice but to write it today.

Gosh I'm only up... so tired lol

... i have failed. i haven't done my CD review or my babble or any of the other stuff i should be doing. Guess, i'll write it tomorrow during work, i mean thats what i'm there for right? To write my Editors babble while others babble about deadlines and what not.

I already know what i'm reviewing etc, its just motivating myself to actually doing it is a problem, i'm just too busy to do anything at the moment!
