Grimmauld Place: Part Two

Alice smiled and began chopping up the fruit Ellizar told her to, fruit she was fairly certain adn't been there two minues ago. With her enhanced vampiric memory, when she was fairly certain about something she was usually right.

Alice listened to Elladora's story as she cut fruit. ''Wow, thats amazing. Did you all get out okay? Did the deatheaters find what they were looking for? Do you know what they were looking for?'' Alice asked her, hopeing Ella didnt think she was trying to pry. Alice was honestly just interested as she pictured the battle Elladora described.

''What should I do with the fruit?'' Alice asked Ellizar.

Elladora watched Alice chopping up the food and stared at the moving knife. "I'm pretty sure everyone survived... minor injuries, but we had Healers on hand at every safehouse. I'm almost positive they didn't get what they were looking for..."

Elladora trailed off, thinking. She was trying to recall who had gotten the thing they were trying to keep safe...

"I think Luna had it," Elladora said. "Yeah, Luna definitely had it, but she lost it in the struggle. Who picked it up from her...?"

''Well thats good then'', ALice replied, glad that no one had been seriously hurt and that the deatheaters had failed, ''If Luna lost it... then who has it now?'' ALice asked slowly. Elladora seemed to be thinking hard. Alice was very curious as to what this mystry object was exactly but Elladora seemed reluctabt to share, and Alice didnt want to be pushy or anything.

Alice sat waiting for Elladora to answer, but she didnt seem like she was going to anytime soon. Whether it was because she didnt want to or didnt know alice couldnt tell but the stiff silence of the room was gotting to her. She stood up and danced over to the kitchen, she grabbed a couple of glasses and a bottle of firewhisky and began pouring. SHe handed one to everyone, leaving the bottle on the table they were all sitting around incase anyone wanted more.

Emmalynn was also waiting for Elladora's answer. "You said the twins were there... Could one of them have picked it up?" she asked, nervous about what this thing could be.

Alice looked at Emmalynn as she spoke, she also seemed to be waiting for Elladora's answer. ALice cocked her head to the side slightly, trying to process Emmalynn's tone. She was trying to keep it normal but Alice could hear something else, sort of srtained. Her eyes light up and Alice smiled as she worked it out; Emmalynn was nervous. And maybe slightly worried? Or scared? The brief look of happiness dropped from Alice's face as she realised what this ment. Obviously Emmalynn had been fighting the Dark arts longer than she, and if Emmalynn was worried... Well this could be bad.

Elladora stared off in space, thinking really hard. She needed Luna. Or anybody else that was there. She needed another person so she could read their thoughts and figure out what happened. Someone should be coming soon....

Just then, the front door began clicking open. Elladora looked over slightly until someone walked in. Luckily, it was Luna, Everett and Bill Weasley. They were all slightly injured with cuts and scrapes over their arms and faces. Luna greeted Emmalynn and Alice with a smile, and Everett nodded hi. Bill picked up a glass of firewhiskey and downed it.

"Perfect timing," Elladora said. "Luna, how did you get cut up?"

"I was pushed." Luna said, her voice becoming a bit harder with the memory. "They didn't want to damage whoever was holding it, so they pushed me down and hexed Syoaran before he could pick it up."

"Did the hex leave a mark?" Elladora asked Syoaran. He pointed to the gash on his arm. "Come here." Elladora said. She pushed up his sleeve, to try and expose his upper arm, but was having some difficulties. "Take off your robes."

Syoaran pulled his arm out of his robes and offered it to Elladora. Elladora grabbed his arm over the gash and he winced slightly before going into a daze.

Alice looked up to see Luna, Everett and Bill enter headquarters, all of them looking slightly worse for wear. Alice smiled friendlyly and stood up. ''Are you guys okay? You dont really look great, is there anything I can get you?'' Alice offered. SHe was curious to hear the whole story but thought it would be best to make sure everyone was comfortable first.

"Some more firewhiskey would be great," Bill Weasley said, indicating his empty glass, and plopping down on the nearest couch.

"And we might want to get a damp cloth for Syoaran," Luna said absently. "If Elladora's going as deep into his thoughts as I think she is, he's going to need some recooperation."

Syoaran looked as if he had just passed out, sitting next to Elladora. Elladora had one hand on his wound and another on his temple, she was searching through his mind for the memories of the incident.

Emmalynn greeted the injured when they entered. She was focused on getting an answer out of Elladora when she noticed that her friend was... busy. Instead, she turned to Luna.

"Hey, Loony, how're feeling?" she asked, grinning at the nickname she hadn't had the chance to use in quite a while.

Elliazar walked out of the kitchen with a platter of pasta and fruit. When he noticed that there were more people there than he had cooked for, he sighed. "I'll go make some more..." he said, setting the food down and walking back to the kitchen.
