Okay so now I'm rereading the series once again XD and I came across the part where Harry goes to the zoo and than the glass vanishes. Well before that Vernon is like hitting the glass trying to get the snake to move but it stays put. When they all leave but Harry to go look at some other animal the snake gets up and looks at Harry. Well why did the snake get up?? Harry didn't say anything to it at all. Did the snake somehow know that Harry was a wizard or something or even know that he could talk to it?? How would the snake have known?? I'm sure that the snake wouldn;t of done that for anyone muggle or wizard alike so did it somehow know?? I dunno. What's your guys thoughts and opinions??

I think the snake felt drawn to him cause Harry can talk to snakes. It's like with Tom in the 6th book. When he mentions snakes come and talk to him and they tell him things. I think the snakes can sense that someone can talk to him.

Well than I wonder if it's all snakes who are like drawn to them like you say or if it is only certain ones. Like maybe there is magical snakes and than the plain old snakes that have nothing special about them XD

Yea that was what i was thinking cause afterall it was bred in captivity but it was pretty smart for being a snake. It could read signs afterall. Who would of taught it such a thing and than I was like well maybe it was an animagus but than that's stupid cause if that was so than they would of just been able to change itno thier human form and than leave XD I sooo over think things and need to stop XD

Hahah, I agree with Vi. I think they're just naturally drawn to those who can speak Parseltoungue...and I don't think there's any special type of "breed" of snakes that can talk with humans while others can't. I think it's universal. Snake at the zoo 436937

And as for the reading thing, maybe he just knew that plaque was for describing him or something...who knows. xD
