HEMM Rules and Guidelines

Welcome to the first Hogwarts Experience Murder Mystery Event.

Soon you will see posts springing up within this forum, posts which tell the mystery of the murder of Hogwarts, and it is down to you to find out who did it.

Posts will come around every so often, so always keep a look out, a detective never sleeps!

Anyone in the Hogwarts Experience can join, there is no need to sign up!

Collect the clues, question the suspects, piece together everything you find, but dont come to a conclusion straight away, as you only get one chance. If you get it wrong, you are out!

Not all clues will be posted together. The mystery will be spread out over some time.

Ask the characters questions in the correct threads to help you narrow down the suspects.

If a character has more than three unanswered questions, then please await until they are answered before asking another.

Once you are sure who the murderer is, pm me (elfie dumbledore) But you ONLY get ONE chance!

To recieve the housepoints you must take part. You can not simply jump in, read everyone elses questions and then guess.

You can join whenever. Even if it has already started, you can begin your detectiveness. As long as you take part then you have as much chance as anyone.

Housepoints:

1st person to find the murderer: 150
2nd person: 100
3rd person: 70

All others who get it right in the time frame: 50

Those who have tried but get it wrong: 40

Extra: If you can say exactly how the events occured, another 100 housepoints will be given to you
