Having just come from interviewing George, Ginny knew that this twin was Fred.

"Hey Fred, and before you pull any jokes, I know it's you. I need to know a couple of things, such as, who and where you were with after dinner until Trelawney was found. Also, are you very familiar with Devil's Snare?"

"Umm.. Fred. Do you by chance have any rips in your clothing? Perhaps your robes?

“After the meal me and Gerogey boy worked on a little magic of our own.”

(His face went slightly sullen)

“A prank actually…”

(He grinned)

“Devils Snare, yes, we attempted to use one in one of our pranks, though not to great avail…What was I wearing? My jeans and T.shirt, do you want me to elaborate on the underware?”

(Fred laughed)

“Rips in my clothes, I would say every quidditch player has rips in their quidditch robes. A tough game that is…”

"I know what you mean! You should see the rips on my clothes! Not that I would show you.." Jen trailed off with a slight blush. "So Fred, you've tried to use Devil's Snare in your wonderful pranks. When was the last time you used it and where did you get it?"

“The devils snare can sometimes be found at the edge of the forbidden forest, you get some weird things growing there. I think we tried it a while ago, saw that Malfoy boy down there come to think of it. We attempted to use it, though the fiddly blighter was too strong. Wanted it for a bad breathing spell, but we gave up after a while.

I guess, well, it would be wrong to speak ill of the dead though, wouldn’t it…”

Fated walks up to Fred~~"Well well Fred Weasley, interesting to find you here. I must say that I've heard stories of you and your brother galavanting off into the forbidden forest. Hagrid used to have to chase you out of there. And as for the devil's snare, well the dark, forbidden forest is an ideal place to get one of those plants. Have you or your brother gathered any recently?" He questions raising a brow.

"You saw Malfoy down there? Did you notice if he took any Devil's Snare with him?" Ginny asked curiously, rolling her eyes at Fated. "He just answered that..." she whispered to herself.

“I saw Malfoy at night, I didn’t see exactly what he was doing, and that boy always looks suspicious…I wouldn’t put anything past him

"Hello Fred!" Etta greeted him happily as she entered the room. "Bet you feel like a celebrity with all this attention, haha, anyway, two quick questions, wont take up too much of your time, but was anyone with young Malfoy when you saw him? Ans were you outside when the murder happened?"

"What was this for, Fred? Was it indeed unbreakable? Why'd you have it-for Devil's Snare?" she asked.

“Well that was part of the prank…though we never got to use it…you know, a little ghostly scare in the night…Malfoy. Hmmm”

(He became thoughtful)

“Now come to think of it, I think there were two or three people their…but we went in before the…well you know”

(He turned to Ginny and frowned)

“Ah yes, that is one of the experimental unbreakable glasses, but we didn’t use it for the devils snare. We didn’t start experimenting with the glass until a week ago”
