A Prince for the Potters

Half-past ten in the morning, London is already at it's usual busy mode. Honkings and chattering here and there could be heard. A tall white lady in all-black coat and glasses walked past different people just like the others.

A muggle man leaning on a nearby column, waiting for a cab noticed her. Following her with his looks, adoring her poise, later gloated in confusion as the lady seemed to disappear like a popped-bubble right in front of his very eyes.

Charm entered the Leaky Cauldron. She took of her glasses and sat at the high chair at the counter.

She stayed in there thinking of lots about the Potters. What are they doing, where are they currently living, everything. She's thinking of it all with such hatred. She's even wishing for them to have a tragic and unhappy life. Her bitterness from the past have really grew in her. It was as if being fertilized everyday as she is certain that Harry Potter and his family still is existing.

*oopsies.*

Clafin walked over to where Bella was. "Oh, this is Thomas." she said as she nudged him in the stomach. "Hello Luis!" Clafin said as she ran over and hugged them both. "How've you guys been?" Thomas looked at her in amazment as she embraced the werewolf. A low growl emersed from his chest without warning. He pulled Clafin off of him in a hurry. Thomas didnt want her smelling bad for weeks. Clafin leaned in towards Bella. "Do you know who that woman is?" she asked innocently as she nervously glancced towards the corner.

Clafin looked up at Charm. She was even more gorgeous close-up then she had been from a distance. She glanced over at her friends. "Prince?" she asked quietly. The woman was a bit intimidating. Ive heard that name somewhere...Where was it she thought to herself as she filed through her memory.

Thomas ignored Luis and took two long strides to close the gap between Clafin and himself. He stuck his hand towards the woman. "Thomas." he said cautiously.

Charm just smiled at Luis ans said, "Nice to meet you." And let out a little giggle as he and Bella made a little drama.

But seconds later she went looking back to Clafin. She's Potter. Just what she a person whom she wants to meet. She can actually go straight to the point and ask about Harry and their other kins, but no. It was too soon for that. After all, again, she is still connected to them. With Clafin's question she first took a last gulp on her butterbeer and answered, "I'm not certain if we have met actually. I believe this is the first time that I have seen you. Probably just seeing somebody else in me?" she asked as if giving her a hint on whether why she look familiar to her.

Clafin looked down at her feet in disappointment as she cursed herself. She shouldnt have shown her emotions that much. She tried to get her cheeks from blushing. After several failed attempts, she gave up. She looked up at Charm then to her table. There were a pair of sunglasses next to her Butterbeer. They were very odd looking, but they seemed somewhat familiar. Clafin glanced at Bella and Luis as she leaned in closer to Charm in hopes they wouldnt hear. "Have you heard anything about Robin Potter?" she whispered. Maybe her new-found friend had heard something of her mother at least.

"I'm sorry, but no. The only Potter's I knew were Harry, his parents, sons, daughter. And now, you," Charm shrugged to Clafin. "Your parents, I never have heard of them, until now. I even didn't knew Harry has siblings." with the thought of the fact that Harry have had a sibling, her blood once boiled again. How come that that sibling of him has been recognized? Whereas her...Never.

"What? A Death Eater or an Order Member?"

Clafin looked at Bella in shock as she asked Charm a quesiton in a bitter tone. Then in confusion as she turned against Luis. She decided it would be best to say nothing. Instead, she raised an eyebrow at her and turned her attention back towards Charm. "Oh, well no. Not really. You see they disappeared when I was young. I've stayed at my Uncles since then. People say they were killed by Deatheaters, but I know they are out there somewhere. Don't ask me how I know, I just sort of feel it. If that makes any sense. Ugh Im rambling aren't I?" Clafin asked embarrassed.

"No problem. I have still understood every word," I know how it feels to be away from your parents at a young age." As Charm have finished talking, her feelings toward Clafin seemed to have changed course. Hearing that they have somehow had a same experience made her old self be freed again. The old Charm Prince who sympathizes and soft-hearten. But, no, no, no...they are way different...too different. She shouldn't let her old self over power her. No, not now that she have finally found a Potter.

Clafin looked at Charm in confusion as she internally argued with herself. "Anyways, I've been looking for them for the past few years. Anything helps really. It good practice for becoming an Auror I suppose." Clafin said loudly. She felt like she'd just made a new friend, which was always exciting. When Clafin got excited she couldnt exactly control her voice level...no matter how hard she tried. "Anyways." Clafin started as she looked over at Thomas once again. "What about your family?" she asked eagerly

Charm nodded occasionally as Clafin talked about being an Auror. And as she have asked her about her family, she then argued in herself whether she'll tell her or not. Though she do not see anything harmful for saying so. "Haven't you ever heard of the surname Prince? Isn't it even somehow sounds familiar to you? I bet you have heard it before. Maybe from your uncle? Or his friends, maybe?" she asked her to push her in remembering of even just a bit.

Clafin thought for a moment about Charms repsonse. Prince? Hmmm the only thing I've ever seen that name on is that old potions book I found a while back. I dont think Uncle Harry's ever mentioned it. Hmmm I think Albus mentioned it once. she thought to herself. "Im not quite.." she started as she realized. "Wait a second." she said as she ran over to Thomas and grabbed her book bag. She reached in and grabbed a book then turned and ran back to Charm. "This book says Prince on it. My Uncle said it belonged to errr his old teacher or something like that. His first name was Severus. Alby is named after him." she rambled. "But thats ridiculous." she added quickly. "That would mean we're family." she said through a huge grin.

Clafin looked at her for a moment before replying. "Well sort of. I mean Uncle Harry looked up to Severus...well after he died. But thats besides the point. Didnt he have a thing for Grandma Lilly though?" Clafin asked loudly. She held up her finger motioning for Charm to wait a second before replying. She dashed over to the table and stuffed the book back into her bag. She grabbed Thomas' hand as she slung the bookbag across her shoulders. "I know your mad at me, but you could at least be civil." she whispered to him. Seconds later she was next to Charm again looking up as she wasited for an answer.

"I guess, he does," she answered back being thrifty with words. She tend to not get in there this soon. It seems to be not the right time for that. "But, I actually don't know if the two of them got together." Lies, that's all what she have made to blurt out at that moment. She have said those without her even knowing.

"Anyway, if they did, your uncle must've not been born, isn't he?" she added, though giving more emphasis with the last two words softly.

Clafin wasnt sure how to reply. It seemed like Charm was trying to avoid something. Either that or hide it. Clafin argued with herself mentally whether or not she should comment on the earlier part of Charms response. She decided it would be best not to. "Well, I suppose thats true, but I dont know. The only thing I really know about my family is what Uncle Harry tells me. He doesnt like to talk about it though, so thats pretty rare." Clafin blurted out her voice still growing in volume. She desperately tried to think of something that could successfully change the topic, but failed. She looked down at her shoes. They were getting kind of old from exploring the woods.

Clafins face darkened with sorrow. She looked up at Charm. "They are all good, really good actually. Im havent really seen them in a while, but Im going to his house later this month." Clafin practically screamed this due to excitment. Her face began to brighten. "Lilly is getting absolutely gorgeous! She looks just like grammy when she was her age...well and alive." Clafin said as her voice grew small. She hated thinking about death, especially since everyone told her about her parents constantly. It was almost like they were forcing it into her mind. She couldnt go ten seconds with hearing it from Thomas these days.

"Ohhh..I see. I can say, that you do love to be in their, place," Charm smiled onto her. "I was thinking," she added. "Is there any possible chances where I can come along with you at their place?" she asked Clafin. Clafin might find this odd or suspicious, but at that moment, what she really wanted is to see Lily. Clafin have mentioned her to resemble a lot like Lily Evans. It is the only way to see how her mother have looked like in her early life - apart from those that she have seen on pictures, even though just through her half-brother's daughter.

Clafin was shocked at her request. "Well, uhhh." she started nervously. "Sure I dont see why not. I dont exactly live with them at the moment. I actually live about a mile down the road. If youd like to go there though, your more then welcome to come with me...and maybe even Thomas." she said gravely as she looked towards him. "Fine. Fine. I'll be nice." he finally gave in. He couldnt just stay mad at Clafin forever. The longest he'd ever managed was three minutes when they were toddlers. Clafin beamed up at him then looked back towards Charm.

Thomas laughed heartidly. "After the war?" he asked rudely. "What do you mean after?" he added trying to make his point. Clafin punched him in the stomach. "You said you'd be nice!" she scolded him. She turned to Charm. "Well Uncle Harrys been great youd have to ask this one about his parents though." she said as she nodded her head towards Thomas. He looked down at her and frowned. "Ya know, I've never noticed how short you are." he joked. Clafin glared at him and turned to sit at a nearby table. She looked up at Bella and Luis who were still standing near Thomas and Charm.

"Harry's been great I'd have to ask....about his parents....what?" Charm rambled onto herself. She obviously didn't understood any. "I'm sorry, but I think I got lost. What do you both mean?" she asked Thomas. "You, you seemed to know something that I don't know about the war, what is it?" she added with narrowed eyes. "I am really confused," she said as she slightly twisted her seat to face Thomas and see Clafin on the side, who's sitting on the nearby table. "Could you, tell me..whatever it is that the two of you are talking about?"

Clafin looked back and forth between Thomas and Charm. "Oh, sorry." she finally said to Charm. Thomas looked at Clafin as though she were an alien. She looked down at her feet. "Thomas' parents are Hermoine and Ronald." she said meakly. She didnt understand why he was being so mean.

Thomas heard her question and thought for a moment how to answer. "The war isn't really over yet. Didnt you know that? You are a Prince arent you?" he asked through a snarl.

Charm made her fingers ran down the empty cup, as she listened to the two teenagers near her. With Thomas' words "The war isn't really over yet. Didn't you know that? she made a faint little twitch and said, "I think no, I do not know. Sorry. And to answer your question, yes I am a Prince. Why?" She smiled at him. She was expecting that somebody would finally be familiar with her surname. After all, it has been a talk of the town - or maybe just a few - before. "Is there any problem with my surname?" she added with a beam. She called for another glass of butterbeer, as she felt she would be having a bit longer conversation with Thomas and Clafin.

Clafin was distracted by the other people around her. She walked off further down the counter as Thomas began speaking to Charm. Hmm. She's really pretty. She looks alot like someone I know she thought to herself as she ordered a new butterbeer. She picked up the glass in her small hands and guzzled down the liquid inside in record time. She set the now empty container down on the wooden counter with a thud. She turned and looked around the Leaky Cauldron. It wasn't bustling with people as she'd expected it would be so close to school.

Thomas turned his body, so that he was completely facing Charm. "Well, I guess I just figured that a Prince of all people would be more knowledgeable about the war than most." he said, putting great emphasis on her family name. "...but I guess not." he said as he shrugged his shoulders. He took a small step and lifted himself onto the seat next to hers.

Clafin turned in shock as a small girl yelled at her. She looked at the girl for a moment before replying. "Why yes I am. I assume your Francene." she said slowly. "I've heard a lot about you from Thomas" she added as she nodded towards the tall boy sitting next to Charm. "Aren't you a bit young to be having butterbeer?" she asked critically as she saw the glass before the young girl. She figured she was only a first year.

Thomas' attention turned to the small girl before Clafin. "AY! Francene, dear. How're you?" he called fondly. He looked at Charm and said, "I'll be right back." He stood and walked towards her embracing her, paying attention to not crush her with his strength.

"Excuse me?" she blurted out in shock. Thomas' words hurt in some way. What she felt is that with his words she is not like the most Princes. It was as if she is a low class of a Prince, for not knowing what she seemed to be knowing more than anyone should. Or at least, she thought so. For a moment she was in red, her blood started to boil again. Especially to a point that a Weasley seemed to be trying to outsmart her.

Though as he excused himself to meet a relative on the other side of the counter, she just nodded and sipped again on her glass of butterbeer.

Thomas shoo his head at Francene. "Sorry, but I'm kinda here for something else." he said as he nodded to both Charm and Clafin. "Maybe later?" he added on kindly. He looked towards Clafin "Maybe we should go back over there." he suggested. The door slammed shut and two people walked to the counter besides the small group. Thomas instinctivally wrinkled up his nose in disgust. "Slytherins.." he whispered as he grabbed both Francene and Clafin's wrist in efforts to get them away from the new entries in the pub and towards Charm.
