Rose's 18th Birthday Party

"Wow!" Rose awoke with a jolt, a smile instantly creeping over her face. She looked at her alarm clock.
July 28th.
It was her birthday. She squealed and jumped out of bed, throwing on her favorite IZ sun-dress and a pair of long stripped stalkings. She ran to the bathroom, covered her face in makeup, did her hair, and slipped on her converse.
She was throughing a party today with all her friends from Hogwarts. Last year, it was in her dorm. But this year, she stepped out of her comfirt zone a bit and decided to hold it in the open filed beside the lake. THe sun was shining bright, which was great. She had to get up a bit early to set everything up. There was going to be a picnic with lots of food, and of course, a giant cake.
Rose made her way to the area she was going to set everything up. After she got it all ready, she sat down on a log and sighed.
This was going to be funnnnn. People would be arriving soon.

Evanna woke up and put on one of her favorite outfits. She was doing her hair thinking about the day when she suddenly remembered what was happening today. "Rose's party!" she said out loud.

She almost forgot, but how could she. SHe already got her a gift and it was marked on her calender and she was looking forward to it. She smiled and grabbed Rose's present, a pair of knee-high boots. They had zippers and buckles, and everything Rose would like. She dug through her trunk and found a 'Happy Birthday' bag that had hippogriffs all over it. She smiled and put the boots in the bag, stuffing wrapping paper everywhere. She went over to her dresser and found the card she bought and signed it quickly. She glanced out her window and saw Rose was already out on the grounds all set up. Evanna frowned Man, she should have asked for help to set up....or I should have set up! she told herself angrily. "Too late now..." she thought as she grabbed the card and bag.

She headed out the door and down to the grounds, hoping others would arrive soon. As soon as she caught sight of Rose across the grounds she smiled and shouted, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSE!!!" Laughing, she made her way over and set her bag down and gave her a hug.

Evanna said hi to Silvia when she showed up. She grabbed a brownie to eat, and saw the seahorses too and gasped saying, "Wow, how cool! I've never seen that before!" She saw Rose taking her accessories off to jump in the water and she chuckled saying, "I think I'll stay out and keep an eye on everything in case the wind starts up again, and if people show up." She didn't want to get wet right now, so she decided she'd just watch them play around. She wished she would have brought her baithing suit, that way she could have been prepared.

Evanna just smiled as she watched the two girls jump in the water after seahorses. They were very pretty, and she closed her eyes trying to remember what they looked like forever. She didn't want to forget this moment. When she opened her eyes she stood up and helped herself to a glass of tea. Rose really put some effort into this party. All the decorations look great...ooh, and so does the cake she thought with a smile. She went and grabbed some chips to hold her over until they ate something else. She didn't want to be tempted by the cake, so she sat with her back to it, looking out at the lake.

Evanna ate her chips and drank her tea in peaceful silence for a few minutes. She saw Rose come back to the shore, breathing heavily, and grabbing her wand. "Hey, what'd you see? Is everything okay?" she asked. "Is Silvia alright?" she asked with a slight tone of panic in her voice. In the next moment Silvia appeared on the water's surface and Evanna sighed with relief. "OH, good, I thought something was wrong," she said. She looked to Rose and said..."Well then what's with your wand?" She wondered if Rose maybe saw something at the bottom of the lake, and in the same second realized that is obviously what happened. She glanced at Silvia, treading water in the middle of the lake and saw that she wasn't breathing heavily like Rose was. It was in the same moment that she noticed her easy beauty; her mind remembered how she walked and behaved on land and then it clicked. She's a vampire...why didn't I ever realize? Buut..she was eating. she thought confusing herself.

Evanna raised her eyebrow curiously as she watched Rose shake, like a dog she thought. She shrugged to herself thinking So what if she is a dog. Werewolf or Animagus, it wouldn't be the weirdest thing you'll find at Hogwarts, she thought. She smiled to her as she walked over and saw the necklace. "Oh, that's pretty! Happy birthday to you, haha!" she said with a laugh. She pulled out her wand and flicked it gently over it, cleaning away all the algae and stuff off of it.

Evanna looked at Silvia and saw her with the seahorse. She had it like a pet and Evanna smiled at that. She saw her go back out to the water and was showing it to them like a trophy. She said, "Well I wanna pet it," and walked over. She walked as far as she could into the water without getting her clothes wet, but saw that it wasn't enough. She sighed to herself and continued walking, getting her clothes wet. She pet the little seahorse and said, "Oh! It's so cute!"

Bella woke up in the late morning, yawning slightly. She sighed, wondering what she ought to do today. Bella sat in bed, her blonde hair ruffled and messy, and last nights make-up slightly smudged. She knew there was to be some kind of party happening today, but Bella didnt know anyone there, and she also didnt know if it would be worth going. She didnt know how these Hogwarts kids threw parties. 'Well I guess its time I found out, eh?'Bella thought to herself with a grin. She was never one to miss a party, and of it wasnt already awesome... Well Bella could fix that.

Bella threw back the enormus doona she had covering her and slipped out of her black satin nightdress and into the outfit she had picked up for the party. Since it was daytime, she guessed the dresscode wouldn't allow her to show up in a little black dress, so Bella put on a pair of dark denim short short shorts, and a tight, lowcut black top. It was party-ish and really hot, with tiny black beads and sequence sewed all over in a sexy kind of pattern. The shirt was slightly long, and you could only dee about an inch of her shorts. Bella smilled a slow, sexy smile and she looked at her outfit in the mirror. It totally clicked. She then threw on a pair of designer black leather boots that hugged her calfs and had quite a heel. Bella briefly debated putting on some fishnet stockings too, but decided against it. She quickly straigtened her blonde hair, and put on her make up, which included thick foundation, heavy eyeliner and red lipstick. It was the kind of makeup that would look at place in a nightclub, but somehow it suited Bella and didnt look out of place. Bella smiled at her reflection, hoping there would be some cute boys to impress and walked out towrds the grounds.

Bella walked over to where the party was. There was alot of food, but only three girls. She walked up to one girl who was on the bank, and had a pretty necklace.

''Hi'', Bella smiled, ''You Rose? Happy Birthday.'' Bella said, holding out a small red bag. Inside the bag, along with plently of red tissue paper, was a handbag. Specifically a Chanel Classic Black Camellia Bag. Bella didnt know Rose, so she didnt really know what to get her, but every girl like handbags, especially designer ones. ''Im Bella, by the way. I heard there was a party here''.

Bella smiled at Rose. She seemed quite nice as she started talking about fashion. ''Thanks'', Bella smiled, ''I like your dress. Its casul, but its still like pretty and feminine''. Bella told her as she looked around.

''Don't worry'', Bella laughed, ''I ramble too sometimes. Harajuku? I've never heard of it but it sounds cool. Whats Japan like? But i love fashion. I went to school in france and they have The.Best.Clothes. Like hands down''.

Bella smiled as another girl came to introduce herself. Steanding next to her Bella felt way overdressed for the party.
''Hey Silvia'', Bella said with a little smile, ''Thats a mouthful. What nationality is that?'' She asked, refering to Silvia's last name.
Bella looked around. She wondered if she was early for the party, or if it was an invite only thing, and only rose's closest friends were invited. She smiled slightly again, gatecrashing was fun.

Evanna pet the little seahorse and then got out of the water with Silvia and Rose to say hello to the girl who just showed up. She eyed her outfit and nodded her head thinking That's a bold move, but I like it, it's very stylish. She looked down at her own clothes. She was wearing a purple miniskirt, that was mostly wet now. She pulled out her wand and dried herself off thinking Ugh, why'd I get in the water. She was also wearing a white and silver loose fitting top, with silver and pearl necklaces. She liked what she was wearing, but she liked what the new girl was wearing even better. "Hi, I'm Evanna, and I absolutely love your outfit!" she said with a big smile. From what Ev heard her say already she could tell she was a trend setter and a leader, she liked her already.

Rose liked Bella already. She smiled and grabbed some chips. “Oh yes, Japan is wonderful. So many great people, who understand you for who you are. And it's really beautiful. I mean really. France? Honestly? That's amazing! So lucky!”

Rose wondered if anyone else would show; she had sent out a lot of invites, but this was a busy time of year. She didn't blame them if they didn't come of course. She saw Evanna and Silvia come out of the water and meet Bella as well. She seemed like an awesome girl, totally party type too.

“Sorry you got you outfit wet, Ev. I've got my wand if you want to dry it out.”

Bella laughed along with Silvia. There ws a wierd edge coming through though, and Bella got the feeling that she was missing something, or Silvia was hiding something. But Bella figured she didnt want to talk about it so she mentally shrugged it off.

She looked up as a new girl, who introduced herself as Evanna came over to say hello. ''Thanks'', Bella said happily, ''I love the way you mix and match the silver with the pearls''. Bella told her, refferring to her necklaces. ''It looks totally gorgeous on you, not to mention Im heaps jelous. I could never pull something like that off''. Bella smiled.

''Wow Rose, sounds amazing!'' Bella gushed. She didnt really know where she wanted to go in life, but Bella knew she wanted to travel. And Japan had just made her list. She shrugged, ''France is OK... the tourisy side is way better than actually living there though''.

Evanna looked up at Silvia and Rose and told them, "No, it's okay, I can dry them." She pointed her wand at her skirt and dryed it off, and listened to them talk about nationality. She looked up at Bella when she said something about France and said, "OH, how cool! France, I bet it's gorgeous, I've always wanted to visit there! And Japan sounds like a fun place too!"

"Oh, and thanks, Bella," she said with a smile as she complimented her on her jewelry. She made a point to wear jewlery most always, she loved it, and it made her look even prettier. Looking over at Silvia, she saw how she was messing with her clothes to dry them and held in a laugh, but smiled at her when she finally got them dry.

Rose laughed and ruffled her hair. Bella was cool, and seemed to have a cool life. "I've been to France once, with my chauffeur. It was a great shopping trip, that's for sure. The little cafe's and all were so cute. We went to this one that I loved so much, it was called the Le Strande. My dad bought it for me when I told him about it later...." Rose frowned at herself. She didn't mean to bring that up, but somehow she always managed to blow her normal life cover-up.

"Ahhhh, I mean, he said he would in in exagurated kind of way, you know..." She bit her lip.

Evanna listened to Rose talk about her trip to France while sitting down on the bench and grabbing her drink. She started to drink it when Rose said she had her dad BUY a cafe for her. She spit the drink out and looked over at her quickly saying, "WHAT?!" She shook her head and regained her cool, wiping her mouth with a napkin. She looked over at the other girls before looking back to Rose. "I mean...umm, 'bought you' you said? What does your family do for a living?" she asked trying not to sound too nosey. Wow, I wish my parents were rich like that...psh, they don't even like me right now... she thought to herself looking at Rose. She smiled at her waiting for an answer.

Bella looked over at Evana as she spat out her drink and started shouting. Bella wondered if she was having a fit of some sort. Then Bella realised it was just over the word 'bought'.

''Your parents bought you a cafe?'' She asked, ''Cool...''

Personally, Bella had no idea what anyone would wantwith a cafe for, but each to their own, right? She then wondered if Rose was loaded. Not that it really mattered, but Bella did find it easier to befriend people with money. Like it was alot more fun to plan an end of school year world tour vacation when you knew the other person could afford it aswell.

Rose blushed a little as Evanna seemed to flip when she told them about her dad buying the cafe. "Oh, ah, yeah. My dad used to be a professional Quidditch player, and you know how well THAT pays. He decided to start a broom making and selling company, which turned into a huge sucsess. Ever heard of the Hayai Sport Brooms Co.? That's owned by my dad. They just made that sweet new model that was released last week called the Vulcan 210." Rose shrugged, trying not to make it sound like a big deal.

Evanna's jaw dropped even lower, if possible. "Your dad owns that!?" she said in astonishment. Evanna loved Quidditch. She had played the sport since she was old enough to balance on a broom. Her cousins would play with her in her earier childhood, and as she got older she joined the Ravenclaw's team and read books on it all the time. She was a woman obsessed. She turned to look at Silvia and Bella who seemed to not be surprised or else really didn't care about Quidditch or the massive amount of money they were talking about. "Oh, I wish we had that sort of money..." she said to herself quietly. She looked up at Rose and said, "You're lucky."

Rose smiled at Silvia. "Don't worry about it. It's not like you have to know about Quidditch."

Evanna, on the other hand, seemed estatic. She was certainly into the sport, Rose could tell. She nodded along, then Evanna said she wished she had money like Rose and that she was so lucky.

Rose blushed and turned away, grabbing a cake cutter. "It's nothing really. It's gets old after a while. And it's kind of sad, because my dad's so buisy with work I hardly ever see him. I see him more on TV and in papers than in real life."

She tried to smile again, and said in a croaky voice, "who want's cake?"

Bella smiled as Rose told them about her fathers job. It sounded pretty cool.

''Ooooh yeah!'' Bella exclaimed. ''You cant have a party and get out of the song.''

Bella smiled at Rose, shaking her head in mock disapointment that she had forgotten one ff the classic birthday events. Bella laughed and decided to begin to sing.

''Happy Birthday to you...

Rose blinked blankly as Silvia put her cake down suddenly and jumped up. She said that they almost forgot about the birthday song, and everyone began to sing happy birthday to her. Rose blushed, her face as red as the streak in her hair.

When they were done, she clapped and laughed. "Wow thanks! I had forgotten about that part too!" She continued cutting the cake, and her stomeche growled. The clouds above shifted, and the sun was covered for the first time all day. It was nice to get some shade.

*Please fix the post. They have to be five or more lines, they are to be written right, and they have to be CAPTAILIZED in the right places, it's not that hard to do so. Next time, I'm just going to report every post, just prove I will do it.*
