Subject: Hogs Head Wed Aug 05 2009, 20:13

Mark walked into the Hogs Head and looked around seeing that there were barely anyone there. He liked to come here and get s few drinks every once in awhile. Very interesting people often came here who he enjoyed talking with. Most of them were outcasts but they all usually had an interesting tale to tell. Not too long ago there was a wizard who stopped by to say that he was a prince of some country. Mark knew he had to be lying. No prince would stop by the Hogs Head for a drink. If anything he would go somewhere that was much better but together and fancier. The Hogs Head was a good place to drink but it wasn't the most wealthiest place around. The place looked as if it was about to fall apart and the sign outside was threatening to fall off. One could barely see the Hogs Head written on it let alone the boar's head that was there.

Mark wondered across the room to where the bar tender was at. Mark barely talked to the man but for some reason he liked him. He didn;t know why mark just thought that he seemed like a good and trusy worthy man. "A firewiskey" Mark said and the man placed down a cup he was cleaning and poured him a glass. Mark took it and quickly drained it's contents. "Another please" Mark said passing him the coins. The bar tender gave him another cup that Mark quickly drained and so he repeated.

After getting to his tenth cup everything started to get a little dizzy. Mark was sitting in one of teh chairs looking up at the ceiling that was spinning around in circles. He was mesmerized by it but also getting sick. Just than he hear the door open and he wondered over to the door. He saw a person but there were multiple of them and he couldn;t make out who he was talking to.

"Heeeellllooooo" Mark said waving his hand and almost falling down. "Well COME!" he shouted the come. "Thissss here is me bar. I owns it. Yes I dosss. Wud ya like a drink?"

Mark was about to wave at the girl who had just appeared but he toppled over and fell ointo the ground. He scrambled to his feet as fast as he could and found that he felt no pain. He than looked at the door and found ths girl to be no longer there. "Weird you go?" he asked no one in particular as he started to swirl around in a cirlce trying to find her. After spining around afew times he fell again to the floor and found her now at the bar. he quiockly climbed to his feet almost falling again and than turned to the bar tender saying "This here youngling in not young at all. Give her wants ssssshe wantssss." he said almost falling again but managed to keep ihimself from hitting the ground

"Can I have another firewiskey there bub?" mark asked the bar tender who took one more look at Alice and than nodded handing him another class. Mark took the glass with a huge grin of his face and than handed teh cup to Alice.

"There you'd go liddle missy" he said grinning. "All the firewiskey ya want." He than turned back to the bar tender and said bring me more drinks!"

"Ppffttt" Mark said and ended up sending spit all over the bar. He tried to whip it with his sleeve but almost fall. he atempted it a few more times before he ralized that he wasn't going to be able to do it and than turned to the bar tender looking at if he was going to say something but forgot what it was.

"Ummm...." he said thinking and than said "Yes people don;t need a reason to get drunk. Look at me. I just came to have some fun." he added witha slight burp. "Give me another glass there bub"

Mark gathered his drink and than wondered over to a nearby table. On his way there he fell three times but managed not to spill most of his drink. He gently placed the mug onto the table taking great care not to spill teh contents and than threw himself into the chair toppling over. Face red, Mark pulled himself up and looked around to see if anyone saw him before climbing onto the chair and sitting in it.

"I ment to do that" he mutted before draining his cup. he let it his the table with a thunk and than lend back in his chair

Jona slid through the door to the Hog's Head, swiftly pulling out her wand to repair the rotting wood. She smiled, slipping her wand away and sitting down at the bar. Out of instinct she almost ordered a butter-bear, only realizing that she wouldnt actually drink it.
A man had picked up his own and tripped obnoxiously, flying through the pub- his drink all over the floor now. Only half was left in his mug by the time he actually sat down. Accross the table was a girl who Jona recognised.
"Hope im not intruding..." She grunted hopping down from the stool and over to the couple.

Mark some how got his hands on anotehr cup and drained it within seconds. Just than he relized that there was someone else at thier table, or so it looked like there were triplets. "Whose the twins?" he asked Alice only looking at her and seeing two more of her. He jumped and fell off of the back of his chair saying "Where'd they come from?! People are crowding my table." He than climbed to his feet and hoped onto the table which he fell off of and landed on his face. When he stood back up there was blood coming out of his nose.

Mark didn;t fight with Alice as she helped him to clean up the blood from his nose. When she directed him to hold back his head he did but soon afterwards he started to feel sick and he threw his head forward at the sink and threw up all over the place. Once he was done he whiped away the vomit and said "Weeeelppp Liddle Missy. I dink you. AR riight." Mark went to stand up but than fell because every thing was spinning.

"Whoa. Tell da world to stop spinning" he moaned

Mark sat on the floor thinking real hard. He ws trying to remeber where he live but couldn't think of the place. He looked up at Alice and took her hand saying "I dunno where I live. Do I live around here?" he asked her not thinking that she wouldn't know. He tried to get to his feet once more but fell. "I think I live in an orange house. Or maybe it was purple. I dunno." He sat there for a moment than shouted "Another drink! Let's get anpother drink" Mark climbed to his feet and slowly made his way out of the bathroom and to the bar tender once more

"No!" he whinned sounding like an overgrown baby. "I don't wanna stop! I wanna anotehr drink!" Mark than turned to the bar tender and said "Another drink bub." The bar tender looked at him sahking his head.

"I can't give you one more drink. Go and drink some coffee. it'll help you. Surely you have had enough fun already?" the bar tender asked him.

MArk started at the bar tender as if he was speaking another lanuage. He opened his mouth and than closed it as if trying to think of a way to argue back but couldn;t think of something. He than decided that he would have to give in and said "Yea I guess so"

(That'll be my last post til Erika gets on. Don't want to make too many posts with her away lol)

Jona raised a brow, she never really liked drunk people- no matter how fun they could be. While matt was going loopy he was falling out of his chair, seeing doubles, and the whole shebang. The bar tender couldn’t help but notice the commotion and came over to see if he was alright enough to pay the bill. Jona reached over, gulped down a fresh butter bear without the buyer realizing it and returned to Alice who was over Matt talking about coffee. Out of it all, all she heard was 'jona' and the guessable 'help'.

She nodded her head and pulling up her sleeves picked up Matt in her arms. She rolled her eyes as she heard the Bartender's comments about her 'kicking body' and turned to Alice smiling. She turned her head down at him and she put on a concerned yet confused face. She waited for Matt to say something and not froth at the mouth.

"I think we should take him to the hotel" Jona suggested softly, "And maybe get him some coffee too..."

She grumpled silently to herself and cleared her head trying to think.
She shook her head no and looked back down at Matt who looked like he was about to pass out.
She winced as she caught onto the strong scent of processed butterbear.
Jona cleared her throat, "No, I don't think he needs anything else- coffee should clear that up nicely."

Mark was too busy trying to keep his firewhiskey down to notice what all they were saying. He didn't even hear what jona and Alice were saying and guessed that it was probably about him. Just than he heard Alice's voice and made out "..uyou feel?"

"I think I'll be gud when I get some freash air" Mark said feeling some throw up trying to come up his throat. Taking a gulp he managed to keep it down

Mark went to stand but nearly fell. Luckily for him Alice was helping him out of Hogs Head. Without her he was sure that he would of fallen to the ground once more and probably would of passed out right there and than.

Mark could tell the moment they got outside for a gust of wind hit him right in the face. He took a deep breathe and could feel the quesyness he was feeling go away. Being careful not to trip over the stairs, Mark soon found himself and Alice to be standing right under the pub's sign.

"Welp thanks for getting me outta there" Mark said as things started to clear up but he was still very drunk. "I think I'll be on my way home there missy." Mark than turned and headed for the train but after a few steps he fell down onto the ground.

"Owww" he moaned as he rolled over onto his back looking up at the sky that was spinning a little. "I'm starting to think I mighta had too much fun today" he mumbled

Jona walked out with Alice, who held the door open as she walked out- Mark squirmed in her arms and she put him down, Alice assisting him. She asked him if he was alright and if he knew where he lived. Jona rolled her eyes, she really did hate drunks. What? The part that you loose your mind? Yeah... That’s the part... She stood there; her arms crossed waiting for Alice to do something. She couldn't even remember why she'd come to the Hogs Head anyways. Like she was really going to TRY and get drunk like her crazy friend.

Mark looked up and saw that Alice was offering to help him up. He grabed ahold of her hand and pulled hiomself up to his feet. He than blinked a few times trying to slear his sight a bit more but failed to do so. Things were still spinning but not as much.

Once again Mark heard her ask him where he lived and yet he could not remeber. Mark shurrged and said "Why don't we go and go to where...." Mark than trailed off trying to think of what he was going to say. he than snapped his fingers after a few seconds of thiking and almost fell down again.

"How about we go right there to Oddie's house" MArk said. "I know where she lives!"

Jona watches Mark fall over with wide eyes, He can’t even talk! She winced disgusted.
He had suggested that they'd take a nice trip to Oddie's house, where he 'knew' was.
"Right..." she muttered under her breath- in disbelief that he really KNEW where it was.
Only moment before had he been stumbling over his own words and had he fallen over.
How is he supposed to know where Oddie's house is? She groaned but not willing to leave.

Jona was willing to go through with it all; going to Oddie's being among the drunk-
but what Jona didn’t understand was why she was doing it all.
It didn’t make any sense- why was she willing?
She guessed it was just that she always did, always endured the pains of life.
Alice was helping Mark now and she wouldn’t have to deal with his drunkenness getting all over her.
Easier said than done.. She growled moving on her feet.

"Good" Mark said after hearing that they were going to oddie's. He than tried to walk away and reached into his robes to get his wand. He went to hold it hight to summon the knight bus but than fell to his feet once more. He dropped his wand and it fell across the ground several feet away. Mark than started to crawl over to his wand to pick it back up

Mark went to snatch the wand from her hands but missed by two feet. He tried to snatch it away once more and this time was about three feet away. He than gave up knowing that he wouldn't be able to get it.

"I can use a wand" he said swaying on the spot. "As soon as we get back to Oddie's I'll get that there wand from ya" he smiled sheepishly.

Just than a bus appeared out of nowhere and Mark jumped landing on his back. "Whoa where did that come from?"

Jona rolled her eyes, ignoring Mark and stepped onto the Night Bus. The bus' assistant locked his eyes on Jona and without a word, immediately pointed to the drunken slob that had fallen over onto the ground behind her. She grumbled and walked over to a seat sitting herself down in an uncomfortable angle, her attitude not the least bit improved.

All she wanted was to do was get to Oddie's and mop around there as she was already. It wasn’t going to change anything- he was going to be drunk. For all she cared they could have just let him go wild in the bar, for that was where it all started. Maybe then would the bar man see what alcohol does to a person. She didn't like him either...

Jona studied the young girl carefully, she'd missed that she was there and was startled that she was suddenly being talked to someone other than Alice. She looked down at the hand that was extended out to her. It was impossible to read her, and suspicously Jona extended her own embracing the hand shaking it. She smiled weakly sitting back against the seat. After several short seconds of watching the girl Jona said a polite hello and said her name as the girl did.

Jona grinned looking down at Bella's cupcake, she had ignored the fact that she called out Alice and just smiled thinking to herself- I’m starting to like this chick... She was sadistic and meaningful, it was as if this 'Bella' was a clone of herself; Only with dark black hair and several years younger. The Night Bus jerked her forward as it came to a stop- she hopped drunk face wasn’t going to wake and that they could just drop him off and leave. But no, It wasn’t that easy... Jona groaned.

She stood up at the top of the bus' stairs and didnt know where to begin.
She rose a brow watching Alice assist the druken man out.

Mark was fast asleep during thie conversation and didn;t hear a thing. Even as the bus came to a stop and he slid off of the seat he was in Mark still did not wake up. He did snort a little when he hit the ground but other than that he didn;t seem to notice. Once they reached thier spot Mark still was asleep and as Alice and Jona went to pick him up he was still in a deep sleep, his head was popping about

Oddie was in the kitchen making some food for herself. She didn;t have to make Mathew any like she usually did because now his diet consisted only of blood and right at that moment he was hunting in the surrounding woods. Just as Oddie was done making her food and placed it on a plate she heard a knock and walked over to her door thinking Who would be knocking at my door at this time of night?

Oddie opened the door to see Alice, mark and Jona right outside her door. "Alice what are you doing here with Mark?" Oddie asked her amazed

Oddie looked at all of them and than her eyes rested on Mark who was still fast asleep unawware that he was right outside Oddie's house.

"Come in" Oddie said standing back. "Just place him on the couch or something." She than lead them into teh livingroom and showed Alice where she could dispose of him so that she wouldn't have to carry him any longer.

"Do you need anything?" Oddie asked her and Jona than.

Jona looked at Alice, skeptical as usual but instead of saying anything she swiftly moved down the bus' stairs and pushed out the door- if the impatient bush driver would have closed it three seconds earlier his door would need some repairing. She joined back next to Alice and knocked on the door.

The drunken man was still woozy and slept like a baby, dangling from Alice's arms. Oddie answered the door, as expected, and was just as shocked as Jona and Alice predicted. Alice answered her question fairly well and to the point and meanwhile Jona just stood there smiling along as best as she could. It wasn’t her best attempt but Oddie didn’t seem to notice, as her eyes were now situated on Mark.

"Oh, no but thank you..." She grumbled and was about to sit down but wasn't about to be rude.

Jona's eyes flashed over and back to Oddie who'd just been asked what she herself was curious to know. It was indeed, odd, that someone of Oddie's manner would know someone so strange... Mark laid unconscious on the couch, almost drooling in his sleep and reeked of alcohol. Jona winced and Alice didn’t look like she enjoyed it either. As she thought of Alice another bell rung in her head and she suddenly became alert, looking around the room. Where is that little sucker? She wondered, grunting as she couldn’t see or smell him anywhere. She concluded that her passageways were being shriveled and impossible to use with such a horrible stench surrounding her. She'd just have to ask later.

Oddie thought about Alice's question and thought back to when she first met Mark.

"I will be honest Alice I was friends with his brother." Oddie said. "His brother was completely different from him. Well the day I met Mark was....." Oddie trailed off. She was thinking about how to pharse it. Afterall it was the day that Silvis had killed Mark's brother. "It was the day that his brother was murdered that I met him. A series of events happened and after that he kinda became friends." Oddie finsihed with a weak smile.

"Are you sure you don't want anything?" Oddie asked them again

Jona looked down at the floor, concerned- she never really liked to think about murder. It was probably why she immediately was clean when she was turned that horrible night. Back then everyone was dying; it was horrible to think about. She looked back up focusing again; Oddie looked horrible thinking about Marks brother. She took a deep breath and tried to ask without looking like she completely didn't care.
"Do you know where Matt is?" She asked, "I wanted to check up on how he was doing... You know with the change..."

Oddie looked over to Jona. "Well just about an hour ago he said he was going out hunting. I'm sure he;s trying to find the most biggest thing he can find out in the forrest here. Just go outside and look around I'm sure that you will find him. Just be sure not to get in his way I'm sure he'll get carried away wioth his hunting" Oddie said giving her a weak smile.

Oddie than heard Alice talking to her and she looked over at the girl and said "You can stay if you want. I wouldn't mind. I was just about ready to eat a late dinner. Be my guest. Alice you know where the guest room is. If you want you and Jona can stay for awhile."

"I'm fine" Oddie replied to Alice's question.

Jona smiled, "That’s very kind..." Her mood was much better now that she was in the company of someone who wasn't drunk. She had the temptation to go out and find Matt, she wasn't the least bit afraid of being attacked- she had encountered worse. Jona looked back up warmly at Oddie. She wanted to comfort her somehow; it was what she was built to do. For hundreds of years Jona had to comfort and nothing else. She killed and she comforted, her pain was assuaged by the joy and happiness she gave others when inside she was dying. She took a deep breath looking over to Alice and was going to let her do the deciding.

Jona smiled weakly, though just as warm as before. She couldn't say she was worried, more that she was curious to know how he was feeling about the change. Every newborn goes through the heat, the blood lust and crazy piece of mind. It was hard enough for her, she wanted to be there with him- she wanted to be there for every newborn as they're comfort. She sighed though she didn’t want to.
"I guess so...." Jona said giving in as Alice was right.
Only the craziest vampire would go and disturb a newborn while they're hunting. I guess I’m crazy....

have been different but she had her reasons why she'd felt remorse.
She smiled weakly and asked her a question.
"Do you remember why I changed you..." Her voice was soft but stiff.

Jona shot Alice a strange look as she started to say something about dealing with her everyday problems and Jona sighed trying to process and remember what exactly had happened and how she must have been feeling that night so long ago. She took a deep breath as the images flashed though her head. She blinked trying to recollect herself.
"1832..." She started her voice very soft and calm. "The year when I came to America and away from the countries that had I had learned to live in for so many years." She looked up at Alice.
"Many vampires had positioned themselves in NY where I had gone and quickly left in the horrors that I had witnessed..." She shuddered, "My way of life was not accepted, and I was forced to leave..." She sighed once more;
"Somewhere in my troubles I found a girl, and she'd caught my eye." Jona smiled- "And somewhere in my troubles did I find a girl who had been stuck in her own mess."

"And I loved her..." She smiled as Alice encouraged her to continue-
There was something odd behind her smile that would make someone question.
She continued;"Her life had been nothing but pain- something that I could FEEL when I saw her."
She huffed, "And I couldn't take it anymore..." She turned away walking several feet looking at the floor,
holding her arms trying to feel secure while she thought about it.

Jona looked up, her face crumpled together her eyes a bright yellow that swelled as she got angrier. She breathed deeply and she her eyes were watchful, staring a saddened rueful gaze that could make anyone stop and think about her agony and sorrow.
"And let the one thing that I loved DIE...?" She growled turning away and almost tempted to walk out the door.
She paused for several second, waiting before she said more.
"You asked if we feel regret......" She spat, "You don’t know the half of it."

Jona fumed, breathing heavily as she turned back around glaring at Alice. It wasn’t enough that she'd felt horrible her whole life, she'd created a monster- immortal and destructive. Why she'd let herself go, why she wanted someone too feel how she felt, why she fell in love with someone she could never have... she didn't know. Who better than the one who she felt the one who she LOVED unconditionally despite WHO THEY WERE.

Jona bowed her head in shame, her gazing stare broken- she shook her head. The girl she knew, the girl she loved was no longer the same... Jona swore it was different, for years she told herself it was different, that she'd done nothing wrong.
"No..." She gasped, "I was wrong..."

Jona could feel the comforting touch of Alice's ice cold arms wrapping around her. As they let go she could feel her absence and her presence being pulled away from her. She looked up at her, her eyes fully of misery and sorrow- but deep within there was hope.. There was the feeling that it wasn’t a mistake. That what she chose was meant to be.

She smiled weakly and with a sigh whispered, "My life couldn’t be any better... I've might have had a sad one... One filled with sorrow and hatred- but..." She dragged pausing a moment. "I don’t think I could ever asked for a different one."

She smiled warmer this time, fading into a darker realization as she continued on. "I changed you because I felt I NEEDED you... I don’t know why- but I was selfish... And I wanted you.. and I was GOING to have you... I didn’t give you a choice-"

Jona looked up at Alice, her anger subsiding though she felt the usual sadness in her heart. Her gaze was skeptical- something that would normally make Alice laugh. She huffed, smiling a little now and played with her fingers.
"I don’t know..." She said honestly a lot less mad. "Maybe- no...." She began, stopping herself as she was thinking. Jona rested her chin on her fist thinking. Maybe she was afraid, afraid of loosing her, afraid of what could happen... afraid of what time could do to her. To Jona, this girl wasn’t filth- she was worth something… something special.

Jona sighed, this was a lot calmer thing to talk about- one maybe that she didn’t really need to go too deep to answer this one.
"Like every new born I craved blood... I wasn’t odd, BUT- as I got older more and more things started to bother me, I started thinking more and more about the people who were dying." She sighed, "Even though I was trying to AVOID humans- I craved blood more than ever before... But of course that’s only temptation."
She looked up at Alice and laughed weakly. "You tasted him... you CHANGED him... there is NOTHING wrong with you." She smiled warmly. She had felt a lot better now- like a strange mood swing.

Mathew had just finsihed draining the blood from his most recent kill, a bear. As he whiped the blood from his lips he looked down at his watch and saw that it was well past midnight. He was going to have to get back home before his mother started to worry about him. Even though Mathew was now immortal his mother still cared that he might somehow be killed. He had told her before that unless his head was chopped off him dying was close to impossible. Just than Silvia had walked itno the conversation and pointed out that he was already dead which made his mom even madder but he ddin't care. She was overreacting and needed to let him grow up and start to take care of himself..

Mathew looked down at the bear and decided to just leave it there. Afterall the wolves or someone other meat eater would come by and have a nice little snack. ANyways he had to get home now and wouldn;t of had time to bury it. Turning on his heels he headed back to his house.

Once he was at the door he pushed open the door and shouted "Mom I'm home!" He than walked into the livingroom expecting to see her there and found instead Jona, Alice and Mark there.

"What are you guys doing here?" Mathew asked them

Jona looked over at Alice, raising a brow as she listened to her go ON and ON about the drunken man and they're epic journey to get him to safety. It was ridiculous- just say hi to your boyfriend and tell him why your there! She wanted to scream at her, And not in full story mode. As she finished Jona groaned, throwing her head back desperate for her too just stop- and pleased that she did even though she didn’t approve of how she told the story. She turned her head over to her right and smiled at Matt.
"Hi matt..." She said politely- something she wished Alice could have just said and got over it.

Mathew smiled and had to force himself from not letting out a chuckle after Alice had finished her long story. Than Jona said hi to him and Mathew said "Hello Jona and hello to you too Alice." He than looked down at Mark and had to stop himself from laughing once more. "The reason why he doesn't remeber where he lives is because he doesn't have a house. Why else would he of had came here. My mom's the only "friend" he has" Mathew said as he sat down on the couch. He looked over into the kitchen and saw that it was empty. During Jona's and Alice'a talk she muct of just walked past them and went to bed.

Alice than asked him why he wasn;t there and Mathew said "Just because I was off hunting. I got a bear" he said smiling proudly

"I didn't know he had a brother" Mathew said. He was surprised that his mother never told him this and wondered why she didn't. "Well I don't know much about him but I do know it was a few years back he lost his house cause he went on some adventure. He didn;t pay his bills and stuff so they took just about everything he owns. He comes here to sleep and than leaves all day to do who knows what. Some times we won't see him for a few days stright but he always shows up sooner or later" Mathew finished.

"He couldn;t afford it" Mathew simply said. "You have to pay to get on the knight bus and he rarely uses it. He tries to save any and all money he makes but he does have a job doing something for the bank so me and mom don't know why he doesn't have his own place. I'm guessing that he probably has loans he has to pay to people. Whatever it is mom doesn't mind him staying here."
