Titanic (the movie)

Okay, this has been bothering me for quite some time now :D I was watching "Titanic" with my friend a long time ago, and I happened to comment "Huh. Good movie, really cool that she died..." because honestly, that's how you end a movie with total awesomeness, and my friend went "She didn't die! She fell asleep, and now she's dreaming!" which I personally think is--

She did die.

Thats how it ended.

Her dying....she was seeing the light...and when she saw the light...she was seeing her most wanted wish...her and Jack being able to be together.

I always thought she was dreaming too, but my cousin told me what had really happen...and my parents said the same thing...so...how can you fight with three people telling the same thing XD

I think its better she died anyway...I hate when people live at the end.

I had no problem with my friend thinking she was dreaming. I just had never thought about it like that - I had always, ever since I was a kid and saw it for the first time, that she died. I also like it when people die at the end, it leaves no questions like "What happened then?", and there won't be a chance to make sequels, because I usually hate 'em xD

And why would anyone make a sequel for Titanic? (...even if that fake trailer looks cool xD)

Yes...what wouold it be about? What happened to them under the sea?

See that would suck. She died so they could be together and live happily ever after and all that. Just like all sappy romantic movies. The Notebook? They die. And umm... okay so thats the only example i got but im sure there are more...

Died XD I never really had a doubt about that, it always seemed obvious to me XD she rejoined all the people who died there in her own death XD

Same here, saw it ages ago, but as far as I can remember, she died. Or so. I didn't care too much for that movie ... XD
