Hello everyone!

We've learned about lots of different kinds of art in this course so far, but what about some unconventional ones? For this class, I'd like you to pick two of the following types of art, one from each category, and for each:

1. Give me a visual YOU have created, and tell me about it. These can either be done by hand or on the computer. Give someone a makeover and take a picture or put some artful color on a photo you found online, I won't give preference to one over the other.

2. Give me a brief history of the art and name some big names.

Each section is worth 25 points, so you have a possible 100 points to earn by doing this class!

Cautionary parting words from the Prof:

Since it's currently winter and snowy in most places, actual chalk may be impossible. You can do something in pastels or something online that has a chalk-like effect.

Kiddos...you know better than to actually graffiti; after all, it's a crime. So if you choose this one, you can do it like this example on paper.

And don't go and get a tattoo for this. If you have one, totally cool to post a picture of it - as long as it's appropriate!

This is a picture that I did of Clopin Trouillefou from the Notre-dame de Paris that I had tattooed on my shoulder blade .... I've loved this character ever since I was a little kid ... I used to be scared of the dark and I would pretend that he was sitting by my window protecting me, but as a kid I never knew his name so I just made up names for him .....

This one is an image of my Nightcrawler tattoo on the outside of my calf, when I took this pic it was still healing but .... I drew this picture and had it tattooed because he had such an influence on my life. Growing up I had always been picked on, the freak of my class. And he's just a representation of how I feel ... no one has a right to judge me ... I am who I am and I'm happy with that ....

I'm planning on getting a picture of the deathly hallows on my inside ankle and a doe patronus with the word always underneath .... somewhere .... I'm not sure where ....

Those were cool looking tattoos, I must say. You missed the Street Art category, though, but of course, you can always do them still if you want to. (:
