Stephy walks into the classroom and peers down at her students. Many at the time were chatting away with the person sitting nearest to them. “Hello students!” Stephy said and the noise filling the room slowly died down. “For my first lesson I will see how well you know what plant to place into potions.”

Part One

1. Shrinking Solution / Shrinking Potion (2)
Minced daisy roots, Peeled Shrivel-fig, Sliced caterpillars, One rat spleen, A dash of leech juice

2. Confusing & Befuddlement Draught (3)
Scurvy grass, Lovage, Sneezewort

3. Draught of Living Death (4)
Crushed Snake Fangs, Moondew, Wormwood, Asphodel, Valerian roots, Sopophorous bean, Sloth brain

4. Mandrake Draught (1)
Mature Mandrake

5. Draught of Peace (1)
Powdered moonstone, Syrup of hellebore

6. Polyjuice Potion (2)
Lacewing flies (stewed 21 days), Leeches, Powdered bicorn horn, Knotgrass, Fluxweed (picked at full moon), Shredded Boomslang skin, A bit of the person one wants to turn into (typically hair)

7. Wit-Sharpening Potion (1)
Ground scarab beetles, Cut ginger roots, Armadillo bile

Part Two
Mandrake:
Mandrake is a plant which has a root that looks like a baby when the plant is young, but maturing as it grows. When unearthed, they do scream and can lead to fatality if heard with the naked ear. But younglings will only knock you out with their screams. That is why, Professor Pomona Sprout asks her students to wear an earmuff when the need to pull some Mandrake on their Herbology class at Hogwarts.

When a Mandrake matured, they start to move into each other’s pots. They will be cut up to serve as a prime ingredient for the Mandrake Restorative Draught, which is to cure those who have been Petrified.
