Hurt and broken...

Sinister sat quietly in the great hall watching as people furiously ate their food, like they were starving, or haven't ate in years. Sinister rolled his eyes and lay his head on the table...tired. It's as if I am invisible to their eyes. He thought feeling a tear run down his face. Could it be that I am? After all everyone knows...they all know about my past. Sinister shook it off and looked up someone was staring at him, but he couldn't see just who it was. Their face was dark as if they had no face...no eyes..nothing. He blinked but the person still stood there standing in the shadows. Sinister felt a shiver run down his back as he stood up, but once he did this dark figure was gone...Sinister felt like the room was spinning quickly around him. He feel to the solid ground with a loud boom.

Leona heard a thump. She turned around quickly to see a man in a black cloak run scramble off. She took steps forward seeing a boy on the floor. Oh my goodness! Are you alright?" She asked. The boy looked like he could be a second or third year. She knelt down by him. One knee on the ground and one close to her chin. She leaned forward. She put her hand on his shoulder, shaking him a bit. "Hello? Are you alright! That was quit a fall you took." The boy sat up. She looked at him with worry, then lookd around too see that the few peopl in the room had left. "Do you need help up? Leona had asked so many questions not giving him time to respond.

Sinister's vision was a bit blury but, he could make out a young girl kneeling beside him, shaking his sholder franticly to try and wake him. He blinked a few times and shook his head. "Yeah, yeah I..I...I'm...I'm ok." Sinister said stuttering a bit. "Just tired is all." He replied standing up and brushing himself off. He looked around seeing that almost everyone had fled already. He must have been down for a while. He wondered why only she had noticed, out of everyone that was in the great hall. "Anyways, I am Sinister Tripp." He said holding out his hand for her to shake. "And you are?" He asked smiling a half smile.

"Oh uh im Leona. Im a first year. Are you sure your alright!? You fell down pretty hard. And why exactly did you fall." Leona had punded the poor boy with questions. She was very good at trying to get answers. She looked at him, her facial expressions showed her confusion. She hoped Sinister, didnt think she was going completely mad! Oh my. Leona thoughts- Ugh if only I didnt make such ding bat of my self. Oh like it matters anyways, he just took a bump to his head. She looked down at her shoes, staring at the new hole... complementry to the rest of the rips in her sneakers. Then she looked back up at sinister and listend to his stuttering words.

"Oh, um...nice to meet you...Leona" He said as his vision came back most of the way, and he could make out a young girl, she was advrege looking and had rips in her shoes. Sinister put all of this aside. "I feel because...." He started to speak, then remember why he had fallen his breathing quikened. "I just, saw something...is all, spider or something like that." He said. "Yeah, a huge spider." Sinister could feel himself sweating at the rememberence he had of earlier. "I think I'm going to be sick." Sinister said sitting down by the bench near them. He took deep breathes in and then out looking up at the girl. She must think I am crazy... He thought to himself laughing. Truth is, I probably am.

Sinister looked up to another girl who stood before him. By the looks of her...she was a Snape. Sinister glared at her from under his long black hair. Sinister shook his head in reply, not saying a word more he stood up so he could be further from the Snape girl. He could feel his heart rate pumping up once more. Don't faint Sinister don't faint... He thought breathing in in out deeply. Sinister couldn't stand the sight of Snapes...or vampires. But, the vampire was removed from this case. Yeah, maybe he was being a little dramatic about the whole thing, but to him...it wasn't dramatic at all...it was pure hatred and anger, all mixed together as one. He lost his family...he was the only one left.

(((Just so you know, my character isn't actually a Snape. She was born a Malfoy, but Snape practically raised her, so she took his name when she became of age. Just click on the RPG Forum link in my little sidebar thingy for a charcter bio. (: )))

Emmalynn was curious as to why Sinister wasn't saying anything. It was obvious that he was unwell, but was trying to be strong and hide it. Putting on her teacher voice, she addressed him.

"Mr. Tripp, as your professor, it is my job to help you, and if you are not feeling well, you should, at the very least, visit Madame Pomfrey in the hospital wing," she said, putting one hand on her hip and looking at him with her best reprimanding face. She could feel a strong hatred radiating off of him and wondered if it was directed at her. She had gotten some bad publicity after legally changing her name to Snape, but she refused to let that stop her. There was no way she would continue living her life branded as a Malfoy. Just the thought made her shudder...

Leona was talking to sinister. Suggesting for him to sit down on the chair besides him, so he dosnt go mad! But then some women apporched them, adn started talking to Sinister.
Leona kept looking at the two. She didnt know Sinister, she had just met him but a few seconds ago. Now who was the new girl. She just paced her head back and forth, from one face to another. She wasnt sure if she should intrude. the girl seemed pretty serious about sending Sinister, to the nurse. But she went along and introduced hersself.
"Um hello, im Leona. Leona Standford. If I may who are you?"

Emmalynn looked at Leona with a curious expression on her face. She knew she wasn't wearing her standard black teaching robes, but still! Sighing, she answered the girl.

"Miss Standford, I realize we are out of the classroom, but I hoped you would at least recognize your own potions professor," she said. She held out her hand. "I'm Professor Emmalynn Snape, Potions Master and Reserve Auror." Emmalynn almost wanted to laugh. Apparently, she didn't look like a teacher!

"Now, do you know what happened to Mr. Tripp, here?" she asked of Leona. "He won't speak for some reason."

Leona felt belittled. She looked up at the Professor.
"Oh my thats right!" She said almost gasping at her moment of stupididy. She looked up at Prefessor Snape, in suprisment. How should she remember. Shed only been in Potions one day, beeen at hogwarts a week. Besides the day she was in her class she boggled herself by knocking over potions. Thats when she had met Alice, and Stephany. Leona looked at Sinister not knowing what to say.
"Well actually im not sure what happened. I glimsped over to see a boy falling on the ground! I rushed right over got his name and then you came along. I think he is just frazzled, a bit. Maybe if we give him time hell speek once more." She suggested



Leona had known what happend. Sinister had told her about the black figure. But she wasnt sure if it was her place to say. She looked back over at Sinister, giving him a puzzled face. Then seeing the expression on Professor Snapes, face she could tell that she knew, Leona was hiding something. But honest to god Leona thought she wa doing no harm. It was just a black figure. Besides what does a newbie know!?

(((Heather, it's no problem right now, but you have to be careful in you posts. You're doing a bit of god-moding, which is controlling a character that's not yours. Like in your last post, you said my character looked at you with a certain expression, but I never said I did. In this case, though, you were right... PM me if you're confused. No worries. (: )))

Emmalynn knew Leona was hiding something, and she looked at the girl to let her know she knew something was up. Sighing, she shook her head. The boy would speak eventually, and, if not, she could always force him to the hospital wing. Or use Legilimency on him, but that was slightly illegal...

Eventually, she sat down in an empty spot and decided to just wait for Sinister, or Leona, to talk. "Are you sure you didn't see anything strange, Miss Standford?" she asked.

"yes im sure. I saw nothing!" Leona said, speaking honestly. She didnt see the figure. Sinister told her-but still, the figure had not been whitnessed by Leona.
"Sinister? Would you like water? Just shake her head!" Leona said to him, not trying to make him feel stupid by making him use head nodds! But she thought maybe if he had water, then he might talk! She grabbed an un opened water bottle and set it beside Sinister. Then Leona looked at the Professor. Hoping she saw Leona was trying to at least help the situation.
"Im not sure why he is being non responsive!" She said, almost shocked. She knew he was speaking, But then maybe the company of the teacher spooked him. But how was Leona supose to know!

(((Obviously, this is just a miscommunication on both our parts. But the "curious expression" I gave her was in regards to Leona not recognizing her professor, as your character hadn't yet spoken in a way to make me suspicious.)))

Emmalynn grabbed a piece of pie off the dining table and began to eat it in small bites. Students in general tended to irritate her, and this whole situation was turning out to be more difficult than she had anticipated. Sometimes she wished she had listened to Severus and not become a teacher.

"Okay, Miss Standford, thank you for your honesty," she said. She could hear the truth in the girl's voice. "I suppose I'll just have to sit and wait." She'd wait for one of two things: the boy to talk, or the boy to pass out again so she could just levitate him to the hospital wing.

Leona, had set a bottle of water in front of Sinister. All three of them waited in silence. Professor Snape, had been eating her pie. Leona got one wiff of the pie and gagged a bit. She had hated pie all her life. Once she had ate a left over lice from her familys Thanksgiving dinner, and wasnt there for the Christmas eve, dinner party!
As the aqward silence kept on, Leona began reading the labels on the water bottle. Suger 0, carbs 0, sodium 0. Of course its all 0's, for christ sakes, its water, of course theres not going to be fat, and vitamins!. She had thought as she kept reading. Leona didnt get the pont of them even including the tab, or ingreadiants, when it came to water.

"Sinister. Do you plan on saying anything. You know it would just be easier, if you started explaining a few things. Please just tell us what happend! Im growing tierd of these silence games."

Sinister stared back in fourth at the two girls standing before him, watching them made him dizzy once again and he sad down on the bench. "I'm real....really...um...uh..." Sinister tried to spek but he was being interuppted by the two girls talking to another. Sinister shook his head back and fourth in attempt to stop being dizzy...this only made maters worse...the whole room once again started to spin and Sinister begun to see that black shadowy figure. Sinister tried to stand...this only made him fall to the ground...it seemed as the everything went black.

Emmalynn put down her pie and grinned. Just what I've been waiting for... she thought to herslef.

"Now that he is unconcious, it is my civil duty to check him over to ascertain if he is well," she announced to no one in particular.

She took out her wand as she knelt next to the boy. Placing her fingers on his wrist, she checked for a pulse. "Good, he's not dead," he said sarcastically. After running a quick diagnostic test with her wand, and finding nothing too out of the ordinary for a male teenage student, she decided he would have to verbally tell her what was ailing him.

"Ennervate," she said, pointing her wand at him. She took her seat again and waited to see if the spell took effect.
