Helga Hufflepuff, the Kind

Helga Hufflepuff was the head of the Hufflepuff house at the Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry. A wonderful witch she was, as well as gorgeous. Rumor is said that her kindness and beauty has spread to each of the students in her wonderful house. At the looks of the most recent house members, the rumor was stated to be exactly true. (LoL, just kidding I could resist boosting up Hufflepuff a bit…GO HUFFLEPUFFS!!!) There is very little to be known about this founder because of her subtlety. The Sorting Hat states that she was born and raised in “the from valley broad." Many people believe that the valleys that is indicated by the song is in fact from the Wales, where the lush green valleys are most well known.

Helga Hufflepuff is most remembered as being the kind and thoughtful of the group. Unlike the other founders of the other houses, Helga Hufflepuff does not have a rigid standards on each member that is accepted into her house. She values hard work and loyalty in her house. Yet the Sorting Hat states that when all the sorting is done, Helga Hufflepuff would take the ones that did not fit into the other houses welcome them into her house. As well as teach them and treat them the same. The symbol for the Hufflepuff House is a black and white badger on a yellow background. Badgers are the symbol for love and loyalty. The only known heirloom that belonged to Helga Hufflepuff is a small golden cup that was passed down through her generation. However, it is rumored that this cup has been stolen by Voldemort in his quest for immortality.

The most famous recent Hufflepuff member was Cedric Diggory. He was a prefect and great friend to everyone. Yet in the past Triwizard Tournament, he was killed by Voldemort.
