Random Hall

Anya looked around the hall she was walking down, noticing all the students laughing and talking to each other. The noise was a loud buzz in her ear: a loud annoying buzz that wouldn't go away. She sighed as she continued walking. Memories of her home flashing in her head. She already missed the comfort of her own bed, and the constant smell of home made bread. But this would be good she told herself. She took a deep breath and continued down the hall. Her objective, to learn the layout of the school.

"Alice walked down the hall way with Stephaine at her side. She saw a girl slumping down the way and she decided to go welcome her since she was practically assigned to this job.
"Hi I'm Alice Lovegood I saw you walking and was wondering if I could welcome you to the school?" Without a response she continued on never had anyone said no she couldn't welcome them.
"Any way this is Stephaine she is my... cuisine. If you need anything like what classes to go to or whatever you can ask either one of us for assistance." She finished with a bright smile her bracelet jingled on her wrist.
"She can't ask me I don't want some first year bugging me I have important things to worry about." Stephaine stated crossing her arms Alice always did to this.
"The world doesn't revolve around you would it kill you to be nice?" Alice stated turning towards her.
"Yes yes it would." Stephaine finished but her "cuisine" said nothing in response for she was worried she scarred off the girl who would be bad if she managed to do that again.

Anya stared at the two girls in front of her. The thought that someone would come up and introduce themselves was a something that she was not use too. She just stared at the girls not quite sure what to say to them. She decided that she should introduce herself.

"I'm Anya. I'm obviously....new here." She chuckled nervously, "I'm just wandering around the castle."

She stared around at the cold stone bricks of the castle. Maybe with all these friendly people I could end up liking it here she thought.

"Oh sounds like fun mind if I join you?" she asked not going to leave her wander aimlessly around the castle her first day Alice got lost very deep into the castle.
"Alice what about the stuff we had to deal with today." Stephaine stated between her teeth. Technically Alice was suppose to be in hiding and introducing to herself to every person she didn't know was not the best of ideas.
"Chill I doubt she is part of that I mean honestly I know how they act she isn't one of them." Alice reassured her knowing that wondering around would be bad for her health and Mathew would be worried but there was no purpose if she had her wand and Stephaine with her what could happen right?

"I guess that would be ok. I was just wandering around really. I don't really know what I was doing." She looked between the two girls, "Some company would be nice." She smiled.

The three girls continued along the hall. "So what house are you two in?" Anya asked. She still felt uncomfortable, but what harm can come from talking to a couple of girls.

The two girls smiled at Anya and Alice said she was in Ravenclaw and that Stephaine was in Slytherin. Anya wondered vaguly what house she would end up in.

"Great!" Alice said brightly as Stephaine rolled her eyes at this. Alice had drug her on so many things but it was only to keep an eye on her she wouldn't dare do anything reckless in front of her, not out of fear but respect.
"I'm Raven claw and she is Slytherene." she stated pointing to Stephaine who was following behind them both.
"Ya Slytherene the best house in this ragged dump." she said annoyed with all the little goodie two shoes in the place and the dwindling amount of people like her.
"Ignore her she is just mad because her boyfriend isn't here to snog." Alice said trying to make this not a bad experience like it usually ends up being.

Froope watched from the shadows, even though he was technically invisible. He thanked the Stars everyday that House Elves had the power to be invisible. It was super handy, and he could go unnoticed all the time - he was notoriously shy. It was because of this shyness that he had immediately ceased his cleaning - this hallway was filthy and the tapestries hadn't had a good beating for dust in a long while! - and jumped out of the way when he heard them coming.

An alarm that only he could hear sounded, and he flinched. Now he was late to start dinner preparation. He hit his head on the wall ('Bad Froope!' he thought) and froze when it made a too-loud noise.

Alice froze and turned around swearing she heard something but saw no one. She being suspicious and curious however she continued to look around.

“Stephaine why don't you take her on a tour." she said and Stephaine mumbled but did not complain she knew when Alice told her to move on it was for a reason and a good one at that. She waved as a few walked by and said hello but she trudged backwards to find what had made the sound and hoped she did before it got away from her.

"Hello?" she whispered her voice sweet and inviting though if it was someone who didn't like her then it wasn't smart to be so open like this but what where the chances of that anyway.

Froope had no choice. He had to reveal himself to the human-creature-student-being-master-mistress.

With a thought his spell of invisibility disappeared and the human-creature could see him. He fell to his knees, prostrate with contrition.

"Froope is sorry, mistress! Froope did not mean to intrude! Froope with press his ears in the waffle-iron in apology!"

He closed his eyes tight and trembled where he pressed his forehead to the cold stone floor.

Alice saw a little house elf appear she was shocked when he talked about waffle irons. She felt so bad and he clearly had been a house elf for some time. She had always hated how they where treated and back 50 years ago she had led a protest and not eat the food that was prepared by the house elf’s but this of course didn't work but she managed to surprise people by the fact that she didn't need to eat and thus got away with this boycott for some time.

"No you didn't intrude if anything I did distracting you like this I would hate for you to get in trouble. Please there is no need to punish yourself you have done nothing wrong." Alice told the creature he knew that he probably still would even if she told him not to. She would love to tell him not to call her mistress but she had tried this too many times to know it never works.

Diane walked down the hallways, missing the companionship of her two friends. They were currently in divination... a class that she didn't have. Because of this, she had some free time on her hands, and had decided to just wander the halls. She used to do this a lot with her friends, but now that she wasn't with them it was quite lonely. This was reflected in her eyes, which had a distinct sadness to their hazel color. She wandered the halls, for once paying no attention to the looks of awe the guys gave her.

Up ahead, Diane could see something interesting though. A young witch and a House Elf had just stumbled upon each other, and now the elf was throwing a fit and the witch was trying to calm it down. Diane bit her lip in a small smile at the scene. Finally something interesting. She thought, wandering over to them. At a distance she watched the two people talking, a pang of loneliness hitting her. Man, she missed her two friends when they were in class. She missed the distant gaze Ashley always had, and the bitchy attitude that Grace had. Luckily, it was only for one hour. With this thought hanging in her mind, Diane watched the two, wishing that she had somebody to talk with.

"Listen." she said getting down on her knees so she was at a better level with the house elf she couldn't imagine looking up at everyone it would seem ominous to talk to anyone.
"You said your name is froope right?" she asked maybe if she distracted him from his original thoughts he would calm down she would hate to imagine what would happen if she kept him much longer only worse things can happen and so she tried to keep it short sweet and simple.

"Your doing great I mean this place would be a wreck without all of your hard work an effort so if you punish yourself your just punishing good old fashioned work and it is pointless so promise me you won’t put any part of yourself in a waffle iron or injure yourself in any way." he would not promise this Alice knew this but she couldn't help but try after all if she could find a way she would free them all though she doubted the administrators would be happy with this it would please her.

Froppe sniffed. "Miss-" he hiccupped "Mistress is too kind. Froope is not worthy of such praise! Mistress is surely a queen among students!" he reached out to grab her hand and placed kisses on the back of her hand.

"Froope will get Mistress an extra special dinner for tonight! Froope must thank Mistress for her kindness." Great big tears were sliding down his hollow cheeks, and he paid no heed to them.

He disappeared with a pop to the kictchen.
