I'll start by recommending a couple of my favourites:

Title: Harry Potter and the Power of Emotion

Why You Would Recommend It: I love this story. It's excellent, very well written, nice and long. I read it between OotP and HBP, along with its sequel 'The Curse of the Damned'. There are some great moments in the two stories, a particularly memorable one being drunk!Harry.

Title: Obsessive Lily Disorder

Why you would recommend it: This story is absolutely hilarious. I have never laughed so much when reading a fanfiction than when I read this. From the whole new lingo (mork? Gavomit? Spork?) to Remus-as-a-girl-dating-Snape, the hilarious randomness knows no bounds. Read it. There is a sequel started too.

Title: After the End

Summary:It's the summer after seventh year, and Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and the rest of the wizarding world must learn to live without fear
Ships: Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione
Why you would recommend it: This is a mammoth of a fic, but it is well worth reading. Legendary in H/G and R/Hr fandom, After the End is the ultimate fic for fans of these ships. I love everything about this fic...it definitely staved off the boredom back in 2002-2003 when I was waiting for OotP to come out!


I will undoubtedly be back with more, but for now...get recommending!

Why you would recommend it: It is hilarious! There's some random YMCA dancing on the part of the Weasley boys. Everyone is sending M-mails, and is abso-bloody-lutely hilarious! :lol:

Why you would recommend it: A story written entirely in M-mail, it is very funny, especially when Harry M-mail Voldy!

Rating: Mature (but only coz it's somewhat... gruesome)
Setting: Hmm. I say AU. But hey. Ask the author.
Summary: Hermione's back for her 7th year at Hogwarts, but dark days lie ahead for her and everyone else. Even Draco Malfoy has his problems. But what happens when Hermione feels her place in the trio is threatened? Will she go so far as to side with the enemy just to hurt her closest friends? Will her jealousy blind her? And will she allow herself to be pulled into the Darkness? Find out. (It's just got over 90 chapters btw... so... take your time. It stops at 110)
Ships: Draco/Hermione.. and... er, others.
Why you would recommend it: Coz it's amazing! Hehe. It's really well-written, and I think it catches suspense and any other emotion like no other. You'll laugh, cry, be shocked, and be extremely surprised! GO KITTY!

Why you would recommend it: I absolutely adore this story. It's sweet, well-written, great, and it made me cry. I've read it about 4 times and I still don't get enough of it...

Why you would recommend it: It is the best story out there when it comes to good long reading. I have read all 110 chapter(cuz its that long) and there is a sequel she is working on. You guys have never read a story like it I garentee. She is a really great writer and is a nice person and she is writing alot of stories.I think you get the idea so go read her story.
