I am re-starting the Rune of the Week fun! Every week I will post clues about a specific rune. All you have to do is use the clues to figure out the name of the rune, and PM me your answer. I am only looking for the name of the specific rune for a correct answer, and there is no need to cite your sources for this assignment! Be sure that you remember to say which rune of the week clue set you are answering in your PM (for example: the answer to Rune of the Week #1 is_____)

For each correct answer, you will recieve 20 housepoints. An additional 30 points will be given to the first person who sends me the correct answer! I know 20 points may not sound like a lot, but believe me, they add up if you continue to do more assignments!

Be sure to check back each week for the new clue, because I will be keeping them all in this one thread.

You can answer any of them at any time, this will always be open!

I am from a runic alphabet that contains 26-33 letters and that was modified from the Elder Futhark (I am not from the Elder Futhark).
My alphabet was used in the 5th century to record Old English.
I am from one of the 3 existing rune poems.
I look like Harry Potter's scar.
My name means "sun"

This one is a little different. Instead of a specific rune, I am looking for the name of the writing system (or alphabet)

Rune of the Week #5
The man who created Frodo, also created me
I am used in Quenya, Sindarin, and Dwarvish
I was modeled after Anglo-Saxon and Norse alphabets
I am used to inscribe words onto stone and wood
When you write with me, you separate your words with dots
I was later replaced by the Tengwar
