A Song of Ice and Fire (Series)

Okay, so I just started this book while on my trip this week, and so far I love it. I really want to see the HBO series now. It feels a lot like reading a King Arthur book. I like how each chapter is a different character's perspective, it is helping me keep all the characters straight in my head. There are a lot of characters to remember.

I love the dire wolves and I was really sad when they killed Lady. I like Summer and Ghost. And I love that Rickon calls his Shaggy Dog... so cute.

So far my favorite characters are Jon, Arya, and Bran. I like others, like Ned, but those three are my favorite.

All the Lannisters, except Tyrion (the jury is still out on him) need to be thrown to the dire wolves. Especially Joffrey... little punk.

And I'm not a big fan of Sansa so far...

These books seem like they are going to be awesome though

AHHH! I'M SO EXCITED YOU'RE READING THESE! And the HBO series is amazing; it's so close to the book!!! Not to mention Sean Bean and Kit Harington are in it *cough cough* xD

Yesss, there are soooo many characters to remember. I bought them on my kindle and they have a list of characters and there were over 300 listed. Hahahaha. Luckily not all of them are too important but Martin does like to throw some in there every once in a while.

I was so upset when they killed Lady! She was so great (even though, like you, I wasn't a fan of Sansa).

JON!!!!! My favorite character everrrr. He's awesome! And I love Arya and Bran of course. And Ned was my favorite character for a while too. But Jon wins out for me xD

Mehhhh. Even just thinking about Joffrey makes me angry. He and Cersei are so evil all the time. *grinds teeth*

Okay, I'm sorry, I like Ned, but DOOFUS!!! He needs some common sense lessons from Richard Rahl (Richard Cypher couldn't teach him anything). Yes, honor is somewhat important, but if you base all your important decisions on honor and not common sense, people are going to die! This time, Littlefinger was right. He shouldn't have sent for Robert's brother, he should have gone along and taken Joff in. Then he could have built up his evidence, so that everyone believed him about Joff being Jamie's kid (instead of taking him prisoner), and he maybe could have even been a good influence on the little punk. He went about that ALL WRONG!!! Which is why his men are dead, and he is being called traitor. Plus... Littlefinger DID tell him not to trust him o_O.... DOOFUS!!!!!

Oh, and Cat... of course it wasn't the imp's knife! *headdesk* he isn't that stupid!! But you are, for taking him prisoner without any real evidence, and then taking everyone up to your stupid sister's dangerous castle and getting them all killed. And now the imp is mad at you... and with every right. Geez. (I call him the imp because I can't remember how to spell his name... not to be rude). AND you wouldn't listen to the people who tried to tell you what your sister was like now... when was the last time YOU saw her? How the crap would you know how she would react to something now?

The Stark's need listening lessons. Or hearing aids.

But I am proud of Arya... she is doing a great job of escaping so far...

Sansa on the other hand <.<

I know...poor Ned. I love him so much, and I love just how into the whole honor thing he is but in this case he shouldn't have gone out and told Cersei. However, my hate for Joffrey is so much that I would ahve hated it if Ned pretended to take him in. That kid is so awful. *kicks repeatedly* I hated Littlefinger so much after that little stunt. Not cool, dude, not cool. *kicks him too*

Ohmygosh, I never really liked Cat but after this show of her stupidity I really didn't like her. Like you said, it obviously isn't his and now she just created an even bigger mess that they really didn't need with everything else that was going on.

Arya is awesome. They could all take lessons from her. xD

Me no like Sansa either. She's annoying ad needs to learn to hate Joffrey more.

I dunt like Cat either... she annoys me >.<

And poor Ned... I really hope they give Sansa a chance to kill Joff... and at least she hates him now, it makes me like her a little tiny bit more

Arya is amazing

I also really like Robb so far. I was really happy when everyone declared him King of the North at the end. He would be a much better king than crappy Joff.

I also want Tyrion to switch sides... because I kind of like him, but his family is poisoning his soul.

*cries just thinking about Ned* Yes, Sansa gets better when she gets over her "love" for Joffrey. xD

I LOVE ROBBBBB! I got super excited when eeryone named him King of the North. He would definitely be better than Joff. *hmmph*

I like Tyrion too, but agree that his family is really not good for him. And Cat didnt' really help the situation.

I am only a chapter or so into the book, but I have suspected from around the middle of the first book that Jon Arryn was actually killed by Lysa because he wanted to take her son away, and she is crazy.

Joff's dog Sandor really needs a new master, cause he's not so bad most of the time, he and Tyrion could switch sides together

I want Robb to win because he would be an awesome king

Dany reminds me of Annikin in Star Wars: a character you really like so it's really sad when they start to go crazy/bad... if she can hold herself together and not be insane I would want her to marry Robb

Someone really needs to invent the wheelchair already so Bran can get around on his own

I really dislike Stannis... he belongs in the Lannister family
