we have all seen that trelawneys words occasionally come true, I mean even the ones that we think are nonsense. I havent got my book in front of me but before harry met dumbledore to go after the horcrux in the last book, she pulled out a thunder struck tower didnt she? hence the later death on the tower.

i wonder whether these small things will come true?

Trelawney predicted that Neville's grandmother would become ill...could this be part of a future book?

Who is the red-haired man Parvati Patil should look out for? Will this show up in future books? All of Trelawney's other predictions came true... (ron_)

When Harry is reading Ron's cup in Divination, he sees "Trials and Suffering" and then "Great Happiness". This was a hint as to the outcome of Buckbeak's trial!

When i was reading the books, especially the sixth one, I thought the same things as you.

I also thought that if the school doesnt reopen, and snape is evil, then wont voldemort come after trelawny to try and get the prophecy? I know that she probably doesnt know it but if the school doesn't reopen, and now that DD's dead, she'll be in danger.

Thats a thought - i wonder if trelawny will be one of those who die?

Her predictions did come true and I think her earlier ones might as well. She really is a crackpot most of the time but not always. She may prove to be extremley valueble.

yer they could be true i mean she has people in her family who were very good sears so it must have been passed on to her + dumbledore hired her so she must have some ability
