MOVIE #3: STARDUST - GENERAL CHAT

This is one of the very few times in my life that I actually liked a movie better than the book. But I guess since he wrote both, that isn't such a bad thing. I love this movie.

I completely agree. The book was much more episodal, with less emphasis on the more romatic aspect of it. When I saw the movie trailer, I ran out to the bookstore to read it, but when I say the movie I was surprised by how much I didn't mind that so much of the plot line had been altered, and many things were removed. But like you said, since he wrote both, I'm glad he was able to expand on the characters.

By the way, if anyone has the DVD of this, I definitely recommend watching the special feature Blooper Reel because it's actually the funniest reel I've ever seen.

I do have the DVD of it! I'm going to watch it now.

I loved the song that Take That made for it!
