So, since I love taking pictures, and spend tons of time working on my photography projects for school, I thought I'd start posting some of my better pictures on here.

Here's some of my latest night photography pictures. They've all been taken without flash, using a tripod with a shutter speed of 2-10 seconds and with the aperture as wide open as it could go.











And since night photography will never be complete without some light painting, here's some stuff my brother and I did. Unfortunately, we only had a flashlight, so we couldn't do colors, but some of these still came out pretty cool.

And YAY for light painting! I love playing with lights! Glow sticks tied to the end of shoe laces is my favorite way XD

Thanks! For this project I used my dad's Nikon D90, cause it takes much better quality photos than my point and shoot.

I've never tried tying glow sticks to my shoes but it sounds like tons of fun! O.o Next time I have glowsticks, I'm totally gonna try it out!

Okay, now you're giving me ideas XD

The glowsticks go on the ends of shoe laces that are not on shoes. You hold them in your hands and twirl them around. I will find a video for you, or some pictures of me doing it. Or, if you have any friends that like to go to raves, they can show you. But you can't be afraid of getting bruises, cause it hurts when you miss XD

I have been wanting to buy a new Nikon. I must save my money faster.

Ooo, I think I know what you're talking about. My photography teacher showed us a video of this guy who tied lights to string and then swung it around on this precise little circle to make this awesome orb of light that looked super cool. I assume it's along the same premise? Really want to try it out, but my accuracy=not good so I didn't attempt it before for risk of injuring myself/others. xD

Ahh, good luck saving up! Good cameras are so expensive! >.<
