This works for a Halloween party, works better if you're hosting it or there is a sign up to bring in food.

Get a plain box of donuts that would usually have cream filling inside, but before you bring them to the party take them home and put mayo into them using a frosting bag. Watch evilly as your friends or coworkers get an unexpected surprise at the taste.

Get dressed up into a costume (of your choice) that you can't be recognized with. Find a group of trick or treaters and merge your way into the back of the ground and hang out with them for the rest of the night. See how long it takes to a) notice you or b) ask you who you are or c) if they pretend to know who you are.

Dress yourself up looking like something really scary. Then go mingle in with some Halloween decorations that you can fit in well with. Stand real still so you appear to just be another decoration sitting on the lawn or a porch or something. Then when trick or treaters come up they'll just think you're part of the decorations. When they seem at ease yell or scream at them. Bound to scare a few people
