| Here it is again! Only the hardcore ones can withstand this challenge, which is very simple, you must write 25 drabbles (this is the part where you hyperventilate), one representing each day leading to Christmas and one final drabble representing Christmas day.
Let's see who has the stamina and the creativity power.
Points will awarded according to the day represented.
Top 4 drabbles of each day: 1st Place - 300 HP 2nd Place - 275 3rd Place - 250 4th Place - 225
All others - 175
You need not create all 25 drabbles but if you do you receive extra 1000 points. | |

| Day One The little girl woke up and rolled out of bed, running to the window. Just as the weatherman had predicted, a blanket of snow covered the earth, untouched by anyone. Snowflakes drifted down through the air slowly, spiraling, circling. She pulled on her boots and jacket, and ran outside, stepping deliberately in the snow, laughing in delight at the crisp, crunching noise underfoot. She looked back at each footprint, her own path. She smiled as she looked up, blinking snow out of her eyes. She opened her mouth, sticking her tongue out to catch snowflakes. The first snow had arrived. WC: 100 Day Two Shoppers smiled at the line of girls, dressed in red and green, as they filed into the store. As the girls began to carol, breaking off into harmonies and moving along with the beat, some shoppers even joined in, singing under their breath. Moving from one store to the next, Christmas cheer spread rapidly as shoppers picked out the perfect gift, aided by the bright voices of the choir surrounding them. “Merry Christmas” rang through the air as they greeted each other, even those who were strangers. Smiles flashed back and forth, as the carols continued: Joy to the World. WC: 100 Day Three The air smelled of pine; the air was just the right temperature for bundling up cozily. She walked through the rows of Christmas trees, searching for the perfect one to cut down. Not too bushy, not too bare, the perfect height, not leaning. Children’s laughter could be heard in the distance, but it felt like just her and the proud trees. Straight ahead, her eye fell upon a beauty of a tree: tall and full, tip straight up towards the sky, it felt right, calling out to her. She took the saw and began cutting, a smile upon her lips. WC: 100 Day Four The sun was shining, the grass was green, the air was warm. Since moving to the south, it had never felt like Christmas. She walked home sadly, thinking of the snow and smell of fire that was always present in the north at this time. She opened the door to find her boyfriend had made her a Winter Wonderland. Paper snowflakes cut carefully by hand were strung throughout the house, Christmas lights shone from every banister. Ornament icicles hung from the ceiling, and he’d even made a paper fireplace in the corner. She laughed and spun around, home at last. WC: 100 Day Twenty-Four The cold was biting, wind blowing; the night sky was clear, stars shining down towards the Earth. The churchgoers filed out of the chapel, each with a lit candle in hand, forming a circle on the main lawn. The candles flickered with the wind, peaceful and serene. One voice began singing, “Silent Night”, filling the empty air. Slowly voices joined in, until the whole crowd was singing in the candlelight. The cold no longer seemed so harsh, as the warmth of community and Christmas spirit took its place. As the song slowly died away, their hearts were all at peace. WC: 100 Day Twenty-Five The kids snuck downstairs, their attempts at being quiet failing as they giggled with excitement at the filled stockings. It was still dark outside, but the Christmas tree lights shone like a beacon, pulling them closer and closer to its temptations. They anxiously stared at the clock, waiting until the time they were allowed to wake their parents; in the meantime, they fiddled with the presents, shaking and guessing what could be inside. As the clock struck six, the kids ran jumping and screaming to their parents’ bed, pulling them down the stairs. Santa had come, and Christmas was here. WC: 100

| Day 1: A Visitor On the first of December, Kelsi knew that she'd be receiving a visitor. She knew this because every year, on this day, he came. So, she ran downstairs to find him, excited because she knew what this meant. She grabbed the small elf toy off the top of the fireplace. "I knew you'd come back!" she exclaimed, hugging it to her chest. "And I promise, all you'll have to tell Santa is that I've been an angel." In these short 24 days she'd get Santa's elf to see her how good she really was and then she'd get her doll house.

Day 2: Ice Skating Sucks The teenager took a tentative step onto the ice, unsure of himself. Ice skating! What a stupid way to spend the day. Okay, maybe he only thought it was stupid because he'd never done it before and he was sure that he was going to embarrass himself in front of Samantha. But, so what? Seeing the way that she flew out onto the ice, gliding across it, he felt no better. Taking a deep breath he made his way forward. Hey, this wasn't so bad. Two seconds later he was on his face and taking it all back. This sucked.

Day 3: Christmas Cards This year, she was determined to be the first person to get her Christmas cards out. It was a running competition with her sister to see who would have their cards sent first, welcoming the holiday season in for everyone. And honestly, Christmas cards were probably her favorite thing to do just that. Not to mention it never hurt that the winner always owed the loser a batch of homemade cookies for the holidays and while she'd be baking some herself, it was always better to eat cookies when you didn't have to go through the work to make them.

Day 4: The Perfect Tree The small family of four trekked through the Christmas tree lot, on a mission to pick out the perfect tree for their home. Everyone looked and looked, but none seemed to be just right. They got so tired that they were about to call it a day and leave empty handed when all of a sudden they saw it, standing off in a corner. It was the perfect size, with big and bushy branches, covered in a light dusting of snow. It looked straight out of a story book and they knew without question, that this was definitely their tree.

Day 5: Amber Can't Bake It'd been a long day at work and when Marie walked into the house the only thing that she wanted to do was sit down and relax. What she did not want to do was walk into a house that smelled like something was burning. Nor did she want to walk into the kitchen and find her wife frantically pulling out blackened cookies from the oven, while flour covered the counters and the floor and the woman, along with half mixed bowls of colored frosting. She should have never let her make the Christmas cookies and she never would again.

Day 6: The Most Magical Place Stepping through the tunnel, she felt completely overwhelmed as she took in everything. Christmas decorations hung from wires across the street, on lamp posts and just everywhere, lighting everything up. Her breath caught in her throat as she saw the Castle up ahead, covered in thousands of white lights; it was one of the most beautiful things she'd ever seen in her whole life. It felt like she was in a dream or something, too special to be real. Standing there for a moment, she realized it: this truly was the happiest place on Earth, and the most magical, too.

Day 7: Rai the Scrooge Raistlin the Headmaster prided himself on being better than everyone else and hating Christmas more than anyone ever could. He crushed the Christmas dreams of all students and laughed about it. Why? Because he was trying to win the title once and for all of HE Scrooge that had been denied of him all those years ago and he would right that wrong! Strutting around the school, he was certain he'd win the Scrooge title once more. Until someone wished him Happy Christmas and he wished it back at them. Darn it! Another year of shame and loss to JavaChat!

Day 8: Marie's Dream Store Marie walked into the store and swore that this was heaven. It was the biggest Christmas store in the world and she felt the urge to buy everything in sight. It was all so beautiful and lovely! How could she say no to the adorable Santa figurines or the dancing Christmas tree? If it was up to her, she'd have this whole store in their house and it would be beautiful and wonderful. Heck, if it was up to her she'd just live here instead. For now, she took in the sights, knowing she'd be there for hours to come.

Day 9: A Skiing Misadventure On the fourth time that the man fell down, he'd already decided that he was never doing this ever again. Why he'd thought skiing was a good idea, he had no clue. Clearly he'd been mistaken. Only halfway down the hill and he'd spent most of the time face first in the snow, struggling to stand up. Just when he managed to get up some jerk teen rushed by and pushed him forward again. Letting out a slew of curse words after picking himself up, he realized that it was obvious, people who did this for fun were just crazy.
Word Count: 100
Day 10: Gingerbread Houses If it weren't for her little sister's insistent begging, she probably wouldn't be here. Scratch that, she definitely wouldn't be here. She'd thought that she'd had better things to do, but as she stood there with the seven year old, she realized that this was where she belonged. They were putting the finishing touches onto the gingerbread house that they'd spent the greater part of the day making and as her only sister put the finishing touch onto the house, she was glad that she'd spent her day this way. It would be impossible to regret this quality time together.
Word Count: 100
Day 11: Decorating Every year decorating the tree remained her favorite tradition. The lights, the ornaments, the tinsel, all of it just made her happy. It was a precise art that went under appreciated far too often. Not in her house though, here they appreciated the fine taste it took to make a Christmas tree as perfect as their own. It took time and the mood had to be set by the proper Christmas songs. But once it was finished, one the angel had been put atop the decorated tree, no one could disagree that it was simply the most beautiful Christmas thing.

Day 12: Snow Day Miracle The stressed Senior had stayed awake almost all night putting the finishing touches on her project. It was a huge portion of her grade and the due date had snuck up on her much faster than she'd been expecting. But she'd finished somewhere around 4 AM and collapsed into bed, grateful it was over. Her alarm had been set for 6 AM, but she over slept and found herself awake at around 8. Instantly panicking, she threw on her clothes yelling at her mom for letting her miss school. Only to hear the magical words: snow day. Christmas miracles did happen, after all.
Word Count: 100
Day 13: Caroling Christmas caroling was beyond lame. Seriously, who had thought it up in the first place? Because as Kendra stood out in the cold, having yet another door slammed in her face, she was angry that someone had once thought that this was a good way to spread holiday cheer. They couldn't even get through one verse of We Wish You A Merry Christmas without ending up with a door slammed into their faces! Did people just not appreciate Christmas anymore? One thing was sure, for something that was supposed to be spreading cheer, it sure was killing her holiday spirit.
Word Count: 100
Day 14: Work Parties Work Christmas parties were always lame. Without fail this one was, too. Everyone stood around boredly, chatting with each other and wondering if they would be able to leave any time soon. Parties like these were supposed to bring cheer and laughter, but all they ever did was bring people down. If it was up to him, they'd never attend another one of these stupid things again. Sadly, it was not up to him in any possible way and all he could do was watch as a pathetic fake Santa circled the room and gave out horrible tasting candy canes.
Word Count: 100
Day 15: Shoveling “Shoveling is the worst!” the angry 13 year old dressed in a ridiculous amount of clothing complained to her parents as they neared their third hour trying to uncover the driveway. “If I ever have to shovel again, I'm going to drown myself in that snowbank over there!” Angrily, she pointed her shovel toward the pile that was taller than her by at least a foot. “I mean it! I'll do it!” And by the time they reached the fourth hour, she threw herself into the pile. Turns out the only thing worst than shoveling, is a white wash from yourself.
Word Count: 100
Day 16: Snow Magic At only 3 years old, Marci had never seen snow before. Living in New Mexico could do that to a child, but this year her parents were headed to visit her aunt in Washington. So when they stepped out of the airport and the white, fluffy flakes were falling from the sky, the girl couldn't help but stop and stare in wonder. "So pwetty," she told her mother, holding her tongue out to try and catch a flake with her tongue. Her mother smiled and indulged the child because she knew how she felt. Snow was a special kind of magic.
Word Count: 100
Day 17: A Green Christmas Stepping off of the airplane that had just touched down, Kara noted that there was no snow, no cold weather, nothing. She grinned as she looked around at the sunny skies, taking note of the palm trees and everyone walking around in shorts and tank-tops. It was just a week before Christmas and it was just like summer here! Pulling her sunglasses out of her purse, she put them on, planning on soaking up the warm sun. She was going to tan and lounge by the beach. Who even needed snow? This was the perfect way to spend the holiday.
Word Count: 100
Day 18: Mistletoe Plans There was no way this plan could possibly go wrong. That's what she told herself as she put up the mistletoe. There was no way that her crush, who happened to be her best friend's brother, would be able to get around this house without meeting her under the mistletoe. She grinned as she stood in the hallway, waiting for him to come out his room and trying to look casual. Yup, nothing could go wrong. At least that's what she thought, until she caught her best friend and her girlfriend making out under it. Apparently things could go wrong.
Word Count: 100
Day 19: The Giving Tree While walking through the store, the woman stopped in front of the giving tree in the front. Despite the proximity to Christmas, there were still many gift requests hanging untouched and it saddened her to think they wouldn't get anything for Christmas. With all her children grown up and moved way, she didn't have anyone to get presents for. This could be her opportunity to do something good for others and to feel good herself. Without another thought she grabbed a family's wishes off the tree and bought the gifts they'd asked for. This was what Christmas was all about.
Word Count: 100
Day 20: I'll Be (Staying At) Home For Christmas "I hate airports!" six-year-old Kevin whined to his parents as they sat, waiting for their delayed flight. Or, one of their delayed flights. It seemed every flight they'd had to catch this holiday was late and everyone was getting sick of it. "I hate them! I hate them!" he repeated, stomping his feet before throwing himself onto one of the black chairs, almost hitting his head in the process. "I'm so bored! I hate this!" His parents sighed and didn't bother to respond, but they both were thinking the same thing: they were never traveling for the holidays ever again.
Word Count: 100
Day 21: A Parent's Revenge An evil parent sat on the couch, smiling as she waited for her daughter's reaction. The teenager had just gone downstairs to 'get out the wrapping paper', but in reality she knew the girl would be looking at all the presents that had been wrapped and placed under the tree to figure out what was hers. Only, she'd find that there were no presents under the tree that were hers, instead they all had her brother's name on them. And as she heard the teen's frantic, “What?!” she smirked and sat back. That'd teach her to meddle around the presents.
Word Count: 100
Day 22: Christmas Season Working around the holiday season at a store was a joke. A joke that 17 year old Nadia never wanted to be a part of again. The only reason that she'd taken this job was because she needed the money to go on vacation her this year, but minimum wage was not enough to deal with the holiday crazies that flooded the store with only three days to Christmas. In fact, this whole experience was turning her off to the whole holiday. Christmas wasn't a big deal at her house and after this, she was certain that it never would be.
Word Count: 100
Day 23: A Perfect Present A blushing eight year-old stood in front of a teenage boy, holding out a badly wrapped package that looked paper thin. Her hands shook slightly as he took it, her heart pounding in her chest as butterflies rioted inside her tummy. "I made this for you," she told him shyly. The second as he grabbed it, she began worrying that it wasn't good enough. When he tore off the paper to reveal the drawing, he gave her a smile that made her heart melt and worries fall away; he liked it. Her drawing had been the perfect present after all.
Word Count: 100
Day 24: Christmas Eve The children gathered around their grandmother, waiting anxiously for the gifts they knew they were about to receive. Every Christmas Eve they'd get one present from their grandmother and they'd be allowed to open it tonight. Every year it was their favorite thing and as the older woman passed out the presents, they could hardly contain their excitement. Tearing them open, shouts of joy filled the room and all of them had high hopes for the next day. If their gifts tomorrow were anywhere near as good as the ones from tonight, it would definitely be the best Christmas ever.
Word Count: 100
Day 25: Christmas Day On Christmas morning the pitter-patter of little feet filled the house as the children ran out of bed and straight downstairs to the Christmas tree to see if Santa had come. He had come! He had! Yells of excitement filled the house and soon the children were running to wake up their parents. Santa had brought so many presents, they'd be busy for a long time to open them all. The sleepy parents dragged themselves out of bed and downstairs, unable to stay unhappy with how happy their children were. It was impossible not to be in the Christmas spirit.

| Day 1
"Operation Xtmas domination starts today!" thought Rudolph, pacing up and down in his hut in the North Pole trying to devise a plan for overtaking Santa and Xtmas this year. For too long he allowed people to ride him and for too long he smiled at kids when what he really wanted was to stomp them with his hooves. "But not this year!" It would not be easy though, Santa was too beloved, too cherished, too good! "Ergh, I hate good people. However… perhaps I could get some help…" and with that thought in his mind he left the hut.
(100)
Day 2
The wind was blowing strong that day and from where Rudolph was standing up high in the sky he couldn't see properly if the house below was inhabited or not. Making a swift descent he soon touched the ground. There were no Xtmas lights anywhere, no signs that Xtmas was rapidly approaching. “Yes, this is the right place. Only his house could invoke such misery and sadness this close to the North Pole.” Soaring to the sky again, the reindeer headed back home to devise a plan on how to get his soon too be ally to side with him.
(100)
Day 3
Knock. Knock. Rudolph. “Who the blasted hell can it be?” Knock. Knock. “Ho, ho, ho, Rudolph, you’re there”. Rudolph’s stomach twisted in disgust but he headed towards the door. “Hello Santa, what brings you here?” he said trying to sound pleased. “Just cumin’ to check on you, the pack says you’ve been kinda distant, lately, everythin’s a’right, Rudy?” How Rudolph hated being called that, he swallowed the rampage of curses he wanted to lash out. “Everything’s fine, thank you Santa, I was on my way out now, see you another day” he said and closed the door on Santa’s face.
(100)
Day 4
Once again the wind was blowing up high in the sky and Rudolph looked into the house below. “Let’s see if foe can become friend.” Making a stylish descent he touched the ground and headed towards the door which had a big paper sign “NO CAROLERS WELCOMED!” Rudolph smiled. “I guess we’re on the same page.” He knocked on the door. A figure all in green opened it bearing a cranky face. “What do you want, Santa’s pet?” he said in a grunt. “To end Christmas, interested?” Rudolph’s let no margin for mocking and so the Grinch let him enter.
(100)
Day 5
“That stupid, moron, dim witted, narrow minded, loathsome, repellent, awful, evil shadow of a cockroach!” Rudolph was pacing furiously in his hut. The Grinch had let him in only to kick him out after he had explained his plans. Rudolph had been sure they would have teamed up, the Grinch’s ambition to take Santa’s place and end Christmas was ancient, a battle as old as the world itself! Still, the mad man had repelled suddenly and with no motive, leaving him confused and despairing for Rudolph could not achieve his plans without the Grinch’s resources. He needed a new plan…
(100)
Day 6
Failure. That was all that Rudolph could think of. Tried as he might, he could see no solution to his problems. The Grinch was the key. No other plan would be as satisfying and humiliating for Santa. He needed to get the old stubborn green giggle’s support. But his initial approach had been perfect, he knew it, he had made no mistakes! Knock. Knock. Rudolph opened the door ready to unleash his fury. “Who…” he stopped in surprised. A dark elf stood in front of him and delivered him a note that got him smiling, it said only “Come tomorrow.”
(100)
Day 7
“So, tell me again. How can the old fool’s most famous pet want to turn against him?” The Grinch was sitting in his chair, a mockery of Santa’s throne. Rudolph was now getting frustrate. He had explained himself twice already. “I’ve already told you…” “EXPLAIN!” the reindeer flinched under the Grinch’s sudden wrath so he explained once more. “I’m tired of being Santa’s lap dog. I want glory of my own. I’m tired of silly children. I want freedom, I want the world”. The Grinch looked at him and said “Very well and how do we manage that?” Rudolph grinned.
(100)
Day 8
“Yes, yes, yes!” Rudolph was ecstatic, thrilled! The Grinch had agreed to his plans which were now set in motion. His ambition to end Christmas had finally started but now he had to wait for the Grinch to complete the first task. He was so happy he even decided to go for a stroll in town. That quickly proved to be a mistake. The town was so full of Christmas spirit he soon got grumpy and irritable. Carolling, lights, happy people, noisy and loud children running around, Santa’s posters everywhere. All of it was sickening and Rudolph soon ran away.
(100)
Day 9
“Snow… it’s always snowing… I swear that when this is over I’ll move south, someplace tropical!” Rudolph grumbled. “So bitter… I may come to like you… Now look” said the Grinch. Rudolph was back again in the Grinch’s house after having received another note delivered by a dark elf saying “The first one’s ready. Come.” The dark elves, the Grinch’s minions, were bringing something under a veil. “Behold my servants work. And what a fine work it is. Your plan might work.” The Grinch gloated while the dark elves unveiled the mysterious object. Rudolph gasped in awe and said “Marvelous!”

Day 10
“Oy! Dasher! Oy!” Rudolph ran to catch up. Dasher’s was Santa’s most impetuous reindeer but also the strongest of them, physically speaking. “Evening, Rudy, what’s the problem?” Rudolph’s eye flared red briefly at the mention of the nickname, Dasher knew he hated it but still used it, which made Rudolph’s work much easier erasing all of his guilt. “I could use your strength back at the hut, got a new bed and I need to move it.” Dasher’s chest inflated, flattery was his weak spot “Sure buddy, let’s go” Rudolph grinned as they went, Dasher was about to be surprised.

Day 11
“Oy! Dancer! Oy!” Rudolph called. Dancer turned around in a swift movement, being Santa’s most balanced and coordinated reindeer and with a passion for dance and synchronized movements. “Hullo, Dolph, what’s up?” For a split second Rudolph hesitated. Dasher was his favourite of all of Santa’s reindeers, he was always nice to him, but what it must be, must be. “I need your help. I want to surprise Santa this year with a musical act, do you think you can help?” Dancer’s face opened in a wide smile, “Of course!” he beamed. “Perfect, come by my later then, see ya!”

Day 12
“Oy! Prancer! Oy!” Prancer took his time to look at Rudolph. “What is it, child? You shouldn’t go around screaming like a buffoon, we have a status and dignity to maintain.” Rudolph cringed inwardly. Prancer was so uptight he managed to be disliked by everyone. “See, that is exactly why I need you. I was wondering if you’d be willing to gives some classes on how to be more poised and well-mannered.” Rudolph lied with all of his teeth. “There might be hope for you after all. I shall come by your place later.” Prancer said as he walked away.

Day 13
“Oy! Vixen! Oy!” the female reindeer gave him lavish look. “What’s up, stud?” she said while brushing her shoulder against Rudolph’s making him roll his eyes. Vixen had a tendency to be overly affectionate and too touchy and he liked to keep a personal distance from everyone. “I could use your femme fatal skills, gorgeous”. At this Vixen shook her head and laughed. “I’ll do anything to help. What is it you need?” Rudolph fake smiled “Oh, it’s a surprise, why don’t you come later by my hut to check it out?” Rudolph teased. “It’s to die for, I promise.”
(100)
Day 14
“Oy! Comet! Oy!” Comet looked at Rudolph and beamed. “Why, whassup, sunshine?” he was the most cheerful and happy of Santa’s reindeers lot. “I need your help. I’m organising a surprise party for Santa and I need a lot of shooting stars, noises, livelihood. All in all an awesome party! I know you are definitely the reindeer for the job. So what do you say, will you help me?” Comet started asking all sorts of things at once, and what was he allowed to do or not. Rudolph stopped him. “Come by my hut later, we’ll discuss everything, see ya!”
(100)
Day 15
“Oy! Cupid! Oy!” the exuberant reindeer turned to face Rudolph. “Why, hello. Isn’t it a lovely day? A joys meeting of love that brings us together? How may I rejoice your life, my friend?” Rudolph had to keep his stomach strong. Cupid was always full of that silly love talk. Love! What a silly thing! It only makes you weak and vulnerable. “Me and guys were thinking of lovable way to thank Santa but we’re not having luck getting ideas, we need your help. Can you meet us later at my place?” Comet gave him a thug and left singing.
(100)
Day 16
“Oy! Donner! Oy!” the reindeer eyed Rudolph suspiciously. Donner was the smartest of them all. He could detect mischief miles away so Rudolph couldn’t really tell him a lie. Instead he just said the truth. “Will you please accompany me to my hut where you shall receive a blow the head and be switched by a cloned version of yourself so I and the Grinch can take over the city and end Christmas forever with the help of dark elves and cloned reindeers?” And when he finished two dark elves jumped from the shadows and bonded Donner. “Thanks for cooperating.”

Day 17
“Oy! Blitzen! Oy!” said Rudolph after he finally managed to spot Santa’s fastest reindeer. “Finally I find you!” Blitzen looked restless while wiating for Rudolph to make his point. He couldn’t stay still for too long, had to always be blazing from one place to another in dizzying speeds. “I need your help. We’re decorating my hut to make a surprise party for Santa but we’re running really late. Could you fast help us?” Without a single word, Blitzen ran to Rudolph’s hut to find a destiny that would have him standing still for a long time, if not forever.

Day 18
“Perfect! It’s all going according to plan, victory’s nearly ours!” Rudolph said to the Grinch. “Yes, yes, yes” said the Grinch in cranky tones “But there’s still work to do.” Rudolph gave an exasperated sigh “We got all of Santa’s reindeers locked up and replaced with clones that will only obey our orders, what could stop us now, really?” The Grinch turned to him furious “You insolent, stupid, ignorant child. Long before you were born I was trying to take down Santa. He has a way of turning bad things against you, so for now I’ll remain sceptical”. Rudolph shivered.
(100)
Day 19
Knock. Knock. “Seriously?” Rudolph got up and opened the door to a worried looking Santa “Hey Rudy. I need to talk to you” and let him in. “What’s wrong Santa?” Rudolph was getting nervous, had he been discovered? “I don’t know… I just feel something strange in the air… even the other Reindeers look different… somewhat distant…” Rudolph could feel the danger “I’m sure it’s nothing Santa, you just must be nervous with Xtmas rapidly approaching. Worry not, everything’s fine as are the others. Now go rest and get ready for the big day.” So Santa left not totally convinced.
(100)
Day 20
“We need to act. Fast!” Rudolph was pacing nervously at the Grinch’s house. “Santa’s beginning to grow suspicious.” He waited for the Grinch to react, which had been very quiet since Rudolph told him what happened. “Why aren’t you more worried?! Did you listen to me?!” The Grinch eyed the reindeer menacingly. “I did. You bring great news. Suspicious as he might, he can’t do anything now, that’s what he’s feeling, despair. He knows something bad’s about to happen and can’t stop it. Phase two of our plan begins tomorrow, now leave.” Rudolph gave him a dirty look and left.

Day 21
Swift as snakes, the dark elves began to invade the city of Christmas in the North Pole, jumping on unaware Santa’s elves, silencing them. Soon the city was crawling with them and the regular folk didn’t even noticed them, though to be honest the difference between a dark elves and Santa’s elves relied merely on their allegiance and a dark twisted glint in the depth of their eyes. Probably only Santa and the Grinch could tell them apart. This is why they had cloned some of Santa’s elves and placed them in strategic places, in case Santa went wandering about.
(100)
Day 22
Rudolph positioned the cloned reindeers outside the Gifts factory to stand guard and allowing no one in or out. The takeover of the fabric was one of the final stages of the takeover. With the fabric in their possession they would switch all the toys in the presents with coal using the teleport delivery system (as if the fat old Santa would actually travel all around the world!). Dark, black, coal. Every child would get it, good or bad it didn’t matter. That would be the final strike, the announcement to the world that Christmas was dead and forever gone.
(100)
Day 23
Rudolph watched as the dark elves disposed of Santa’s security elves. The last obstacle had been overcome. The city was now completely under his control. There were dark elves placed everywhere, acting to make sure Santa wouldn’t be able to complete his everlasting trip around the world distributing presents to children. Rudolph watched a shadowy figured appear in the horizon. The Grinch’s limping strut became soon recognizable. He stood for a moment in the border, just gazing. “At last, after so many years I return to this place from where I was banished…” and then he entered to unleash havoc.
(100)
Day 24
“Where is everyone”, Santa thought. “We can’t risk ruining every child’s Christmas.” Santa was heading towards the door when someone knocked in. Opening it quickly expecting to be one of the elves he almost fell backwards in shock. “You..? How… how did you get past the city’s protections?” Breaking his face into a wicked smile, the Grinch couldn’t stop himself from gloating “Oh, I had help… look” and he stepped aside to let Rudolph in who said “Your time is up old man, this year children will stop believing in Santa Claus” and finished the words knocking Santa out cold.
(100)
Day 25
On Christmas morning the world was different, though everything appeared to be the same there was something definitely wrong. There were no screams of joy, of surprise, of delight. The world was silent. Children made no noise, instead they just stood staring blankly at the trees, their little hearts devoid of all happiness. No presents made their way to their stockings, instead they were filled with coal. Dark, black coal. This year they wouldn’t spent the rest of the day trying out their toys and play until oblivion for that year someone had finally stolen Christmas. Santa was gone forever.
