Xtmas RPG Party

Amber adjusted her new muggle Christmas sweater as she walked down the stairs from Gryffindor tower. Marie had specifically told her not to get any, but she was an independent person and she had to do her own thing. Therefore, she didn't just buy the sweater but was wearing it to the Christmas party. The green was a lovely shade and the snow man on the front had jingle bells on it. How could anyone hate this? Quite simply, they couldn't. Jumping the trick step, she continued down all the stairs. She stopped at the bottom, waiting to see if anyone she knew was going to come by. After all, it was lame to go into a party alone and she didn't want to look lame.

Amber started to hum to herself for a few moments, wondering if it was going to be ultimately more lame just standing here. What if no one ever came by and she just stood out here missing the entire party? Well, that would suck. Okay, if no one came around within five minutes then she'd just walk in by herself and act like she owned the place. Yeah, probably not. But she would walk in and be proud of herself and her beautiful sweater. She was lost in her thoughts and therefore didn't expect it when Rai came up behind her, jumping a little.

Turning to look at him, she frowned at his attire. "What am I wearing? What are you wearing? It's Christmas! Christmas sweaters are in order! Here, I can get you one, too!" she said, pulling out her wand and trying to figure out which sweater she should summon for him.

Amber rolled her eyes as she heard Rai make his little comment about the sweater and his stupid little spell. Silently mocking him as he turned to Stephy to tell her, basically, that if she didn't get inside that he'd take away points from Ravenclaw. Well he was right about one thing, her house couldn't afford to lose anymore points. And they probably should head inside, not that she had to neccessarily. Gryffindors were ahead and as Deputy Head she did have some privileges.

Making her way inside, she followed Rai up toward the head table, taking her place at Rai's right hand side in her own chair that had a red cover on it. She looked out at the group that was gathered already, smiling toward the Gryffindor table before turning to Rai.

"Are you really taking points from the late people?" She asked.

Traci was never on time for anything, so it didn't surprise her when she finally finished getting ready that the common room was practically empty. She sighed to herself and she fiddled with the sweater she chose to wear. It was nothing short of ridiculous but she knew Amber would appreciate it and for some reason Traci decided that she would make her friend happy. Anyway, the sweater was red and had a snowman on it with white glitter and the letters Believe in gold glitter. Basically she was just going to spread glitter around everywhere and annoy the poor person who has to clean it all.

Skipping down the hall she slid into the Great Hall and rolled her eyes at all the people already seated. She walked up to Amber at the special table for the teachers and such in time to hear Amber ask a question regarding taking away points for being late. "Well I really hope he doesn't...I am never on time for anything." She smiled at Amber and Rai before turning back to Amber. "Do you like my sweater?"

Amber glanced around at all the students that were there and noticed a sad lack of sweaters among them. Did no one appreciate the holiday spirit? Clearly not, or they would have been more considerate and worn sweaters! Everything was better with Christmas sweaters. It was a scientific fact, but then people like Fluffybear had to go around and ruin the happiness by being all grinchy. Like he was so above the fuss or something. Please. The guy had pet bunnies - and they weren't even allowed at school - for goodness sake.

Her face lit up though as Traci ran in, late. For the life of her, that girl could never be on time. Another reason why she'd asked Rai about docking points from houses. As Traci asked about her sweater, she grinned and clapped. The snowman matched her own, although she was slightly jealous about all the glitter. Why hadn't she thought to have glitter?

"It's awesome! See, Rai! This is what Christmas spirit is supposed to look like!"

She feared that Headmaster Fluffybear was going to take points away from her, partially because she was late and mostly because she picked up Amber's habit of calling him Headmaster Fluffybear...she couldn't help it. Traci spun around to look at who was there and was not surprised by the lack of sweaters, I mean they were the muggle thing to do.

Turning back she smiled at Amber, "Well I hope you like the glitter because it will be everywhere before the night is over and it tends to stick around." Coughing lightly at Amber's comment to Rai she poorly covered up her laugh. "Well we all know Rai secretly enjoys the holidays but he must keep his appearance up so that he keeps his respect from his Slytherin house."
