Muggles are very prolific movie and TV shows producers and for that they loads and loads of actors and actresses. This essay we will briefly talk about a very peculiar actress, Alyson Hannigan. She was born on March 24, 1974 which makes her 38 thought she hasn’t aged since her 18 years (some call her a Witch, could it be true? If it’s true she knows some wicked anti-aging potions).

As a lot of other actors she began her career doing commercials. Her firt major breakthrough role happened in 1988 in the science fiction comedy “My Stepmother Is An Alien”.

In the year of 1997 Hannigan was cast in one if not her major role in life as Willow Rosenberg in the hit TV Show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Willow was a witch (ironic) who was best friends with the lead character, Buffy summers. Together with their other friend, Xander, throughout seven years they killed vampires and saved the world multiple times. Alyson also appeared in Buffy’s spinoff show Angel.

Currently Hannigan is engaged with a TV hit comedy How I Met Your Mother which has been on the air since 2005. The Tv show portrays the romance lives of Ted Mosby and his friends Marshall Eriksen, Robin Sherbatsky, Lily Aldrin (that would be Alyson) and Barney Stinson (an awesome dude you should check out more about him). The story is told in the past and describes the events that led to the narrator (Ted) to find the mother of his children.

Besides being a success in TV Shows, Alyson also took part in a very successful movie comedy franchise, American Pie which talks about the silly goofy stuff teenagers do but in a parody way.

Alyson lives a very low profile life, she’s married to Alexis Denisof, also an actor. They are the proud fathers of two daughters.
