(Im in a role playing mood and Im not sure if anyone is gonna reply but I decided to create a new thread with a new character and all new plot. Everything is new :D No more old stories and my old toons. The year is the current year 2013 in magical world of Harry Potter :D)

Giant fluffy groups of snowflakes were softly falling down to the ground. The grass was now hidden under a few inches of snow but the weather was nice, not too cold and not too windy. Zoey was sitting outside in one of the castle's courtyards admiring the falling flakes. She hated the cold, she hated the holidays but this time the snow was enjoyable and all her thoughts of life back at home was pushed aside. Hogwart's classes were soon ending for the holidays only to resume when the students returned. Zoey was hoping to spend her holiday at Hogwarts but she highly doubted her mother would allow that. No matter what, Zoey's mother always wanted the family together for the giving season but her family's reunions always ended on a bad note. Maybe this year would be different but past celebrations didn't make Zoey hope otherwise.

Zoey pushed her dark hair out of her bright blue eyes and behind her ears and watched as students started to return to the corridors inside. For many of them classes were about to begin but Zoey had a few hours before her next class, charms. She loved charms, she loved all of her classes at Hogwarts, this was her first year but she came from a long line of witches and wizards but a lesser known family. Many spells she learned in classes were spells she had been practicing before she was given her own proper wand having borrow her parents when they were busy and not paying her any attention.

Drawing her coat closer to her body, Zoey decided it was time to go indoors. The wind was starting to pick up and causing the temperature to drop a bit. She joined the other students making sure not to cut through a group of friends. Friends, that was something she lacked here in Hogwarts. She didn't know why, but it was hard for Zoey to connect with other people, she would rather be alone and away from others. Perhaps it had something to do with her lack of relationship with her family. If she wasn't close to blood how could she ever get close to someone who was a complete stranger? However it was still something she longed for, to be able to connect with someone else, even something as simple as a friendship. Zoey let out a little sigh as she made her way through the crowd of students, keeping her head low. However this turned out to not be a good thing for Zoey bumped into someone. Trying to make as little eye contact as possible Zoey muttered "S-sorry. Wasn't paying attention." before darting off to the side of the corridor and sitting on one of the benches. She was going to remain there until the halls cleared up.

Seth was tired of the students in his class. He couldn’t understand how any of them ever passed a basic potions class, let along even get into Hogwarts. How daft could students get anyway? Only one student seemed to show passion for the subject, but he didn’t even know her name. He was here to be a teacher, a professor, not a friend. He ran a hand through his hair, just trying to figure out why he seemed to waste his time with these sixth year students. They were not bright at all. He feared for anyone that would need them as a healer if they couldn’t even make a decent pepper-up potion.

Speaking of pepper-up potions, he went to his pantry and grabbed a small crate full of pepper-up potions. Madam Lucy needed some in the Hospital Wing and he had promised to drop them by later that day. It didn’t hurt that he was also involved with her and she kept reminding him of how many students were sick yesterday. He had slowly found himself resenting her more and more every day, but felt great guilt with wanting to part ways. They had been dating since they were in Hogwarts and that was ten years ago. With a sigh, he heaved the crate and made his way out of the dungeons.

The weather was bothering him. There wasn’t a chill in the air, but there wasn’t warmth either. The cool breeze blowing through the hall ways made him regret not bringing a cloak with him as shivers went up and down his spine. Soon, though, the hall was filled with students rushing to and from classes, slamming into him from every direction. ‘Damn kids….’ he thought to himself, keeping a tighter grip on the crate. Just as he got to the fourth floor, another student slammed into him, causing him to drop the crate. The student, however, mumbled something and went on her way.

Seth’s anger finally got the best of him. Who did these brats think they were, destroying his property? He had worked for several weeks, making sure that each potion was brewed to perfection, only for a brat to bump into him without even an explanation? His eyes followed the student who just made herself home on the bench. Without a second thought, he rushed over there, kicking the crate out of his way.

“You! What is your name?!” he shouted. He would probably end up scaring the girl, but at this moment, he didn’t care. He wanted punishment and he was going to get it.
