[QUIDDITCH]: Slytherin – Game 4

 
The forth game of the season! It's the peak of the Winter and snow is falling heavily.
 
The crowd begins to fill the stands as 14 enchanted dummies specially ordered by the HeadMaster take place in the air, 7 on each side of the field. You can see that each dummy supports a letter in their chest. ‘P’ for “Professional Level”, ‘S’ for “Student Level” and ‘A’ for “Amateur Level”.
 
For this game, skills were randomly sorted and the dummies for Chasers support “Ss”, Beaters support “As”, Keepers support “As” and Seekers support “Ps”.

Who will show up to take the place of the dummies? Who can guess the outcome?

-          Remember to always add your position in the beginning of the post.

-          Once you enter the field and announce your position the corresponding dummy will disappear. You DO NOT take the skill level of the dummy. Skill levels have been assigned to the dummies so you know how hard is to beat the opposing dummy or how helpful the dummy on you side will be. Your skills are your own and will be shown by your posts.

-          You can only make 1 post per day up to a maximum of 30 in total and a minimum of 4 posts in total.

You’ll be judged on the following aspects:

Number of posts – 30 pts*

Creativity – 50 pts

Skill shown/Manoeuvres – 50 pts

Knowledge of the game – 50 pts

Cooperation with the dummies/Facing the opposing dummies – 50 pts

Team work (only valid if other members show up to play with you) – 10 pts+

Spelling/Grammar – 10 pts

*If you make 30 posts but there are mostly one paragraphs you will not get the full marks

+If you want to increase the chances of your House winning, call others to play and benefit from these points

Total possible: 250 pts

The House score will be the average score of every member.

Your House Points for the game will be your score points multiplied by 10 for a possible 2500 HP per game.

The game will end on the 19^th of February or if someone catches the Snitch earlier than that.

Raistlin watched happily as the snow drifted away. Now this is my kind of weather. He tucked his robes and marched to the center of the field. There was one position he had not tried yet this season, so he decided to have a go at it.

"Keeper!"

The dummy on the far right of the field vanished and so Raistlin hopped on his broom and flew to take position in front of the goal posts. It was a good thing that Seekers were of Professional skill. In this weather, less skilled players at the position would probably drag the game forever.

As soon as the balls were released, the opposing team Chasers lost no time and grabbed the Quaffle. Their skilled was above that of the Beaters so they were not having much trouble making way through the field. The Chasers on his team were trying to catch them but Raistlin had another idea.

"Get back!"

The Chasers from his team obediently stopped and stood there motionless while snowflakes accumulated on their shoulders and heads. Raistlin focused back his attention on the advancing Chasers. He was counting on the Dummies to follow the rules, which meant that only one of them would go into the scoring area. But which one will it be? There!

The Chaser on the right had thrown the Quaffle further and the middle Chaser had gone ahead alone ready to grab the Quaffle and throw it to the left side post.  Raistlin had stayed in the middle position as much as possible so he had time to catch the Quaffle against his stomach.

There were cheers coming from the Slytherin stand but he did not waste any time and threw back the Quaffle at his fellow teammate Chasers. Without a sound one of them caught the Quaffle and flew towards the Dummy Keeper of the opposing team, leaving the opposing Chasers behind without chance of catching them.

This time, the difference in skill between Chasers and Keeper was enough for them to score! Giving Slytherin the first points in the game! Raistlin smiled triumphantly.

The Quaffle was released again into the field and Raistlin observed intently. For a few minutes, the Dummy Chasers went back and forth in the field, each team stealing and retrieving the Quaffle from each other.

"Just help them already!" he shouted at Slytherin's Beater Dummies. Unfortunately, the other Beaters got to the Bludgers first and managed to give advantage to their Chasers that were now heading towards Raistlin.

They were flying in line the front most player holding the Quaffle which was about to reach the scoring area when he threw the Quaffle up and dived. Raistlin got ready for the second Chaser to grab it but instead of doing that, the Chaser took the momentum and punched the Quaffle hard.

Caught off-guard, Raistlin didn't reach the left hoop in time, allowing for the opposing team to score. Gritting his teeth, he muttered some very foul curses under his breath.
