| I was 'forced' to watch this film as my boyfriend was harping on about it - but i am glad i did. Although it is in black and white (except for one small bit - a girl in a red dress that made me sob my heart out) it was amazing - so powerful and it was even more heartfelt as it was based on a true story | |

| Yes, i watched this movie and it made me sad. My greatgrandfather was one of the few who surivied the Holocaust so I was sorta forced to watch it as well. TO learn about my history background. Very powerful movie... | |

| I think that because it is based on a true story, it makes it all that more powerful. It really sent shvers down my spine and i also had floods of tears at the end. It is an amazing film! | |

| It was so powerful and sad...just the little girl in the red dress, and the candles being in color sent shivers down my spine. My grandparents are Holocaust survivors, and I actually wasn't 'forced' to watch this movie, lol. I wanted to watch it...even though I knew what would happen, I still cried at the end. My grandma talks about it occasionally, but my grandpa never does. He has those little blue Auschwitz numbers tattooed in his arm, and he detests shiny leather boots--reminds him of the Nazis, always in their shiny leather boots... - Spoiler:
Schindler crying at the end how just one more, maybe by selling his pin, or his car, he could've saved just one more person...he was bankrupt, would never be accepted again in his society, he gave everything he could. And still he cried...and I cried too.

| This movie is so powerful that it left me in floods of tears by the end of it and to realise that it is based upon a true story is scary and enhances the sadness felt when watching it | |
