Not so interesting chapters

I dont know about others but I found this last book not a full of interesting chapters as the others. there were a few neearly, shall we say, boring chapters.

Are there any chapters in this book that you found boring or not so good and why?

I wouldn't say that any of the chapters were boring. I agree though, that the first chapter is a little slow-going, but it does tell us a lot of information.

Yeah that first chapter was boring but was kind of funny at first with the Prime minister. Anyway, it got boring really fast. I almost skipped it all together but forced myself to read through it.

I did think the 6th book had more boring chapters. I just felt a sense of something missing in parts of the book.

Well, it kinda gave us more information, like, background. Just like the 1st chapter in PS/SS did.

So maybe we need boring chapters so we can really appreciate the fun and great ones! *coughharryandginnykissingchapter*cough*

I liked Book 6 because it went into Voldemort's history and how he became to be who he is today. So, I wouldn't exactley say the chapters were boring either. JK was just using the book to tell us about voldemort and his past. BUt, I agree that there could have been more action or a little more edge to the book.

To tell you the truth, I didn't really like the first chapter. It was funny, a bit, but after awhile it got old and talked about all this nonsense I didn't want to know. I ended up skipping it, until I started wondering why Fudge wasn't Minister of Magic any more.

It was a very informative book - which got much better nearer the middle to end. I did find the style slightly annoying at first, but now i have read it a few times it doesnt bother me at all

I loved the whole book. We needed to have boring chapters to explain things about what was going on. It can't be all exciting. But it did turn out, in my opinion to be the best book out of the serires.
I noticed a lot of people thought the 1st chapter was boring but it had to be there to show the relationship between both the wizarding world and the muggle one. We had to know that Voldemort was terrorizing the muggles as well as the magical world to see that his terror was becoming widespread.

I think some of the chapters were slow and I could of done with out them but they will probably come in to play later, like some boring ones turned out interesting on multiple rereads

I agree the first chapter was a bit slow on information but they
weren't all bad. THey were great. The only chapter that stunk was the
first chapter. I didn't get it that much, even though I read it 3 times
to understand it.

Okay well the first chapter was not that great but hey. And when I first read it I thought the tom riddle bits were boring but the second time they were not.

When I reread the book.. sometimes I skip over the first chapter because once you've read it a billion times it itsn't as interesting anymore.

I agree some were boring.I known the chapter with Slughorn being itrodunced,so i would skip it when i reread the book.The same in the fifth book,Hadgrid's tale,i would skip it because I found it boring

I made the mistake of skipping that chapter too the first one i mean!
but the second time i read it i read the hole thing, then i thought they where okay......... more insightful than exciting

How was THAT not interesting? It was good info and it was interesting to see Tom's family and how everything came together from that. I loved those parts!

yeah ...they where interesting when I fist read the book now...not so mutch now ive read it 4 times
