After reading the forest gump thread i thought i would put up another slightly older film - the sound of music!!

Who doesn't like this film? i mean it is a classic and the music is brilliant! Am i alone in this?

Meh... I could so go on forever ^^ Seriously, that's one of the best movies ever, in my opinion. It's so great and sweet and the music makes it perfect. Sound of Music 436937

Hm, yeah, this movie is pretty good! Its just so sweet, and such a classic, I mean.... everybody I know has seen it, and not many of those people don't like it. And the oldest VOn Trappe son- i forget his name- is hott. o yes, with 2 t's.

And the songs are practically unforgettable, very good.

and in my choir lessons, we did a concert with those songs

it's very very very good

me and my friend usually sing "the hills are alive" when we wanna see how much my neighbours can stand without calling my parents... hehe

I find it incredible how i have owned this DVD for so ong and i have yet to actually sit down and watch the WHOLE ENTIRE THING! It's quite sad really.

This movie is so good!!! I never really liked the ending of it though...
but everything else was great and the songs...how can you forget them! Everytime I finish watching it, im singing "I am 16 going on 17" around the house

I know that I'm Naive!!!

Thats my fav song in the movie!!!! hehe, but i hate what he did in the ending, I wanted to punch him!!! LOL, If iwas her i would have smacked him b4 i left! *WHAP*

oh yes! The sound of music! It is one of my favourite films! I watched a programme looking for the lead of the sound of music play the other day - even after all these years - the sound of music is being remade in all different ways! I cant wait to see the sound of music on stage!

This was my favorite movie when I was little. I loved the songs. Didn't understand the whole reason they left, of course. But the songs made it good.

When I was in....k-2nd grade (I dont remember which lol) I was going to be Maria and Liesel for "Do a deer" (yes I was amazing). But, I got kinda self concious and...well...lazy...about singing the Maria part at the beginning, so I said "If someone else wants to sing it, they can" And my friend Josie got it. I was most surprised when I didn't get the part back. :D But I got the Liesel-ness. Woot woot!

Shall I stop? I shall stop.

This movie is old but I luv it! The songs every think! It has a nice
plot to it too! Julie Andrews really knew how to sing her heart out!

yeah but at least she's alive lmaoo...someone told me she was dead and I spent 6 months thinking that...then I heard she was in a new movie so I was like, what the heck?!

I used to love this movie when I was little I used to watch it all the time with my cousins nicola and angela at our grans. We had to go there a lot after school etc because our mums needed to work and they couldn't pick us up. But anyway back on topic. We always used to sing the songs from it and perform them for my gran. I was little grettle when I was younger but now they say I'm more like the one who comes running in reading a book.
