To be honest, I’m not too sure how this answers my question. Perhaps the first paragraph, where it talks about “slaying demons and evil giants” is referring to England beating all its opponents, which would be a good thing.

The second paragraph could refer to the current injuries plaguing the England squad, maybe Rooney’s recovering broken foot – maybe he fears the “silent enemy” of injury” and this is hindering his progress.

“This is a time of precaution.” This could be true of taking precautions – the footballers need to be careful not to injure themselves.

Whilst this reading is not conclusive, let’s hope it means England will win!

From this reading, I take it to mean that I will not know if my Dad likes his birthday presents until he opens them, which is pretty self-explanatory, and that I have to be patient.

The reading talks of ‘gifts’, so this is somewhat relevant. However, I don’t think the rest of the reading is pertinent to the original question.

This rune reading gave me the same answer as for my first question, and it does not particularly answer my question. It tells me to “learn patience”, so perhaps this means whilst I may not win the lottery in the near future, further on I might, and I have to have patience.

It tells me not to act recklessly, and so I take this to mean not to go mad and buy twenty lottery tickets a week, or something of the like.

Here it is saying that if I work hard and stay focused, then I will reap great benefits. Although it does not explicitly state that I will become President, it pretty much states that I am in the 'delivering' stage of reaping my rewards. However, it could also mean that if I was to behave badly, I would receive bad rewards. This cautions me about my actions, but promises great rewards for good and fruitful work.

Here this tells me that beneficial change is in the air. It encourages me to work hard and take the opportunity, since two things - the horse and the rider - go hand and hand. I believe that here it means that hard work (doing homework, participating in quidditch games, etc.) will lead to better results. It also says that a snowball effect may occur - like everyone in Slytherin working hard together to get a better end result. This rune symbolizes adventure, and the House Cup is worthy of such stirring omens. (lol)

What should I do in life?

Gebo – Partnership, A Gift

I dont think it really gives a proper answer, though this could be to do with the fact that it isnt part of everyday life. It does mention parts which i could take as pointing to me to help with the housepoints.

I don't really know what to think about this reading. At first, most of it seemed irrelevant to the question, but after digging deeper I found what the rune was trying to tell me. One part said "The rewards will be fruitful upon successful completion of this brief passage of difficulty." I think that means that I should work my way through my anticipation and excitement (which is sometimes a difficulty) and I will be rewarded at the end... with good presents, maybe? Another part says that I should stop opposing the Life process and "go with the flow". I think this means that instead of wondering about it and worrying about what I am going to get, I should relax and accept that I have little control in what I am recieving. Overall, this was a rather confusing reading but insightful once you really think about it.

The majority of this explanation is true, as I actually haven't focussed entirely on my exams; hence, the lack of hard work is the reason for why I won't get all As and A*s in my exams. It says that I am in a vulnerable position, which is true, because I didn't revise much (oops), and I went into some of my exams - namely Biology - without looking at my notes a lot. This made me feel that I wasn't confident enough.

Will I do well in my Chinese exam?

I was actually shocked when I read this answer, because I could actually see a connection between it and my question. It's basically telling me to keep going toward my goal of publishing a book one day, but to keep the whole thing in perspective. I should publish a book for my own pleasure and to share my talent with other people. I should avoid becoming obsessed with only publishing a book for money or greed. This is actually good advice, because, although I'm majoring in Creative Writing for a reason, it is sometimes hard to keep my eyes on my goal of publishing a book when all looks grim.

To me, this actually sounds a lot like the last answer, when it says I should "persevere." Outside of that, I think it's telling me that I shouldn't let the opportunity of recruitment pass me by. With the sororities recruiting, if I'm able to recruit another woman in the marching band, it's possible that I will be able to get closer and have her as a Little after her pledging. Okay, this answer is a bit more difficult to figure out. At first it gives me the idea that it doesn't look too bright that my sophomore year of college is going to go too well. When it says I could be in a "potentially vulnerable position," that is true. Getting my full scholarship back rests on whether or not I'm able to achieve a 3.0 cumulative next year. When it speaks of "health-related issues," it makes me think that it's telling to not get too worked up about it all. Too much stress isn't healthy, and if I put too much stress on myself to get a 3.0 at the end of next spring, I could make myself sick. In the end, I'm not entirely sure what to make of this answer, but it's at least telling me that I apparently need to have more self-confidence in my studies.

My answer~Wow, this really was a motivating reading. I think it helped me realize a few things about myself. I tend to go through depression a lot and feel everything is falling down around me but this actually gave me a positive feeling and that is why I feel that maybe it's telling me to push forward as hard as I can and take chances. My answers~Whoa...another motivating reading!! I found this to be rather acurate and true. It's saying all of this hard work I am doing in my life will eventually pay off but I have to keep at it and work even more. My answers~Oh my god! THIS is me. This sounds like me and whoa where do I begin. I mean yeah I have felt drained and also cuz there were some situations where I really was wasting my time. I think that this means, yes I will be able to tell my parents, and when the time comes, I will know that they can accept my obsession and the love I have for everything Harry Potter instead of yelling at me to quit. I don't think I would ever quit, and since Jera is the rune for celebration and CARPE DIEM, I think I should not hesitate to tell them...but only when the time comes and I am safely in the confines of a good comfortable job with a husband and three kids so they can't yell at me...!
