The Princess Bride

THIS is my absolutely favorite movie!!! Please tell me you guys have seen this one?

Hahahaha I like these kind of movies and spoofs and stuff :D

What did you guys think of it and what was your favorite part?

i ADORED this movie! but the book is even better - everyone has to read that too. My favourite part was when Inigo Montoya said his most famous line -

"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die"

heheheh everyone must watch this movie!

Oh I like the part where she doesn't know it's Westley and she goes "You can die!" and pushes him down the hill and as he is rolling he shouts out "As you wish!"

That part was actually sweet.

Oh and then when Inigo and the giant are having to drag and carry Westley around cuz of him not being able to walk for a while hahaha that's funny his head bobs around :lol:

hahah yeah! and the whole Inigo/Westley sword fight was awesome.."Theres something you should know, I'm left handed!" and then they do all the fancy shmancy sword scenes.

and when the 'sicilian' (cant remember his name) keeps saying "inconceivable!!" and the giant goes "you know, i don't think it means what you think it means"

thinking of the movie is making me grin :D

And I have yet to see this movie :D

I'm getting around to it...actually I'm not. I don't really like watching VHS things anymore...maybe if I got it on DVD...lol so I'm lazy!

Oh my goodness! The Princess Bride is like my favorite movie too!!! My favorite part is the sword fight too. I just don't like Buttercup and how she gets thrown around like a rag doll during the whole movie.

yeah she sorta just stands there like a damsel while Westley does all the fighting....its annoying. but Westley rocks :D

Well it's a spoof of other movies but it's good :D Hahahaha!

I liked when Westley and Inigio first meet hahaha

it's funny their whole interraction ! :D

it is annoying in the fireswamp when she's got that stick and she's just standing there! Grr I keep yelling at that scene for her to hit that rat! Gahhhh hit Pettigrew- I actually said that heh talk about a HP moment hahahaha :lol:

Yeah heh it's funny how you can be watching a movie that has nothing to do with Harry Potter yet, you find something about it to link to HP!! HAHAHAHA But yeah the Rodents of Unusual sizes, and oh yeah I just couldn't stop laughing through most of the movie :D

" But Westly, what about the ROUS's?"

"Rodents of Unusual Size, I don't think they exist."

That has to be one of my favorite lines, espically since one just jumps on him right after.

Lol my friend wanted me to join a group on facebook that's about "The Princess Bride" but when I told her I still haven't seen it she got all mad and forbid me from being in the group until I saw it XD

But I never heard of this movie before. It sounds interesting though.

It's got Cary Elwes, Andre the Giant, uh and a bunch of other guys but it's cool and it's a fairy tale-ish/comedy. It was made in the 80s but I still like it.

They give it on Lifetime once in awhile though!

It's usually in every movie rental store around here and it's still popular. I got the recent two dvd special of it. It's still one of my favs but look who's talking :D

Oh oh finally watched this movie and I LOVED it! *squee*

So bad-guy-funny and good-guy-hero, dancing on comedy and fantasy without crossing over into stupidity...yay. *grins*

My roommate just bought this dvd. It came with a copy of the book. We're going to read it to each other. That's how we did Deathly Hallows and we both really loved doing that. We're going to do it more often now. Anyway, I love the movie. I haven't seen it recently, though. I'm looking forward to watching it again.

I saw this for the first time yesterday. It was...interesting. Kind of cheesy :D And I couldn't understand half of what the giant said. But it was OK, not brilliant, but OK.

XD The thing I loved most about this movie is that it doesn't take itself too seriously.

Ok so I was forced to watch this movie.. in february.. by Jesse ... XD AND I LOVED IT

So I recorded it a long while a go.... and as a tradition... Since I watched it on February seventh Ive watched it on the Seventh of every month for the past four months I love it XD XD XD
