Anne of Green Gables

I loooooooove those books! Anyone here read them? I think my favorite is the first one, but I love them all so much cause they all good lol ^^ Though the 7th and 8th one are not as great, in my opinion (even if they are good) since they don't really talk about Anne anymore, and the 8th one is so sad... but I still like them all ^^

OMG! I remember reading Anne of Green Gables in from one! That was 5 years ago. Wow. I loved it. I thought it was a good book. I read it for my English Lit class.

Yeah I more or less read them all. I don't know about the 8th. And I do wish they talked about Anne more...but...oh well *sighs*

I read a couple of them. Likke the first, then the 3rd and fourth... But they were still very good. Our libraries at school and in our community never have books in order so its hard to read them. I should grab them somewhere. I loved the first one. Good series. I think I read them 1 or two years ago though. Hmm. I mostly only remember the first one.

These books used to be my childhood and i loved the movies when i got older. One of the perfect series for little girls

I saw the movies first, actually ^^ and then my aunt lended me her books, but she didn't have the 8th one so I didn't even know it existed lol.

And then, when I went to Prince Edward Island, I bought them all and now I read them every year lol. I really adore them ^^ And since Rilla is a very interesting character, even the 8th one is good, even though I'd like to hear about Anne a little more

i've read all of them at least three times...lol..although i personally prefer anne WITH OUT the e.....er... it's a personal thing. lol

i love the sweetness and simplicity of the series

I prefer Anne without the "e" too ^^ but I really love the way Lucy M. Montgommery describe everything, cause Anne is a very imaginative child, and she's even an imagination teenage girl and woman, so she has to, in a way, adapt everything to her point of view, though I think that Anne has a little bit *or a big bit ^^ lol* of Lucy MM in her, so it mustn't have been too hard ^^

But I really love the image that this book gives, it's such a sweet book for children like for adults, with the fairy tales and the scenery... and Prince Edward Island is really as beautiful as it is described in the book

I loved these books! Though i havent read them in years now I'll have to dig them out of the loft now you have reminded me of them lol

I liked the first few, but the last ones I found sort of boring for some reason...I don't think I ever finished the series.

You should :) They are different, because somehow the principal characters changes, but they are still good. After the 1st one, my favorite is the 6th one ^^

I just read the first one!!! It was so good! So, I went and borrowed the rest of the series from the library!

these are good books, I used to watch the movies too
