What are your pet annoyances?

it really annoys me when im talking to someone and then someone interupts, and omg children walking down the road with their parents and they have their finger up their nose - why cant the parents tell them to stop picking their nose!

My family has this...THING where they always have to know about the food other people are eating.

Dad, while eating his lunch: "So what are YOU having for lunch? Mmm that looks good!"

Mom, while watching me prepare dinner, before I've eaten a bite: "So? How is it?"

If we're in a restaurant: "Look what THEY have. That looks GOOD."

I should mention that they do this only with food, and none of them were starved as children. The sad thing is, I'm beginning to sound like that as well...it's catchy...I need to move out SOON. *groan*

I hae when you are sitting in the dark, in peace, star gazing and in deep thought , and all of the sudden somebody ruins it by saying somthing dumb, like "Look at the stars" or "There sure are a lot of stars" haha.
*grrr* that happened to me last night!

i hate it when your fighting with some one over the phone and they hang up so i call them back and start again (dnt do this coz it makes things worse)

i hate it when my bro and dad leave the loo seat up

i hate when ppl think there beta then me (NEW FLASH your not we are the same)

It exasperates me so when people use the word "ignorant" wrong.

It annoys me when people steal the random words/nicknames I come up with. Ugh.

Classic one: When skinny people claim they are fat.

Odd numbers. They just exasperate me so. They are just all...weird, you know?

When people can not type out words fully; mainly in roleplays and when they are trying to make intelligent points. Does it really take that much more effor to put "are" instead or "r"; ect. I mean, really.

Conjunctions. I despise them during roleplays. Sometimes I will put in a "don't"; but it is just so tacky. Plus, the full words make the posts flow better in my opinion.

oh, goodness...there are a millon more. But, I shall most likely save them for later.

That annoys me too. The other day I was in a rush and this old man was driving in front of me at 15mph when the speed limit was 50! I couldnt overtake as there were loads of cars coming in the other direction and this carried on for about half an hour! A huge queue of traffic built up behind him and he nearly caused road rage with another driver!

Gum Snapping
People who drag their feet when they walk
Slurping
Chewing with mouth open so that it sounds like a cow.
girls who wear like almost nothing when its freezing out
hearing ppl whine and complain
people who start saying something and then go on to a whole other topic.
ppl (mostly girls) who are nice looking and complain about their looks

Loud guests.
People who chew with their mouth open.
Being interrupted or ignored.
People who hate others based solely on their looks.
Bad grammer, improper sentence structure, etc.

Exaggerated manifestation of affection in public. .... such as the two I've had around today in the bus station and then in the bus who just couldn't stop snogging and whatnot ..... people, get a bedroom! >______<"

When you tell someone to stop and then wont.
Whistling for more then 3 mintues.
Bareny and Little kid shows annoy me.
Someone putting their feet on me

When someone's already annoying you, for other reasons, and you keep dropping all these majorly obvious hints that you want them to just leave for a second so you can talk to your friend and the person really just doesnt know how to take a hint. And then when another peson comes over and starts dropping even bigger hints, instead of leaving the person just stares at you like your insane, refusing to leave for just a moment.

and when your in the shower, everyon knows, and yet, flushes the tiolet

I have a few to add haha
* people who join your site that you worked hard on, make two posts (that are spam) and never come back.
* When you are at a farmers market, look at something, set it down to grab your money from your purse, and someone else picks it up. Then, you have to find another one that looks good, so that can happen again. I literally pick this womans produce today : [ grrrrr

When people invite themselves over, as in "Ooooh, we knooow you don't have anything better to do at the moment, so we'll just come to your place and have a chat, okaaay?" ... how do they know I have nothing better to do? o.O" ... especially when they're not best friends or anything, just acquaintances.

Edit: Oh well. The thing above wasn't as bad as expected.

How about when your grandparents ask you the "How are your grades going?" question?
ANd then we answer... And the first thing that comes out of their mouth next is: "Really? Well, your cousin [insert name of smart cousin here] had straight A's when he/she was in your grade!"

That annoys me so much. I mean, do they think we're gonna be more encouraged to get good grades if they keep telling us our cousin's grades are better?? Gosh! >.<

Well, it's not my gran who does that, though. It was mostly my mom who went like, "So how can [insert genius' name here] get straight A's?" ... until I told her how annoying it is and that she's got a smart daughter anyhow, so she'd better be happy with what she has xD

Oh. One other thing that kind of bugs me is my dad asking the whole time, "So why won't you study architecture?", when I've explained ages ago that my drawing isn't that precise and that I don't have the patience and am therefore not at all inclined towards improving my drawing in that direction (I would much rather study fine arts or graphics of some sort, if we're already on the topic, I'm just not ready yet). Mrrr. My line is way too expressive and free to be forced into the straight and clear architectural line. And I don't feel like drawing stupid details like two hundred little windows to a block or whatever. I've said it clearly about ten thousand times. And then he goes again, "But it would be a beautiful profession!!". And then goes my gran, too: "Well, I'm not saying that I force you, oh noooo, but you would really love you be an architect, don't you think so? I would love you to be an architect!".

well, it really bothers me when people chew gum for the world to see and then they snap it or they take it out their mouth and play with it.

Uggggh, it bugs the crap out of me.
