I watched this and I really never get tired of it.

The speech Bill Pullman makes just gives me chills each time I watch it.

"...that today is the 4th of July where we will be once again fighting for our freedom. Not from tyranny or segregation, or persecution. But from Annihilation. We're fighting for our right to live." then the best part.."And should we win the day, the 4th of Jully will no longer be an American holiday, but the day when the world declared in one voice. We will not go quietly into the night. We will not vanish without a fight. We're going to live on. We're going to survive. Today we celebrate our Independence Day!!"

That is so awesome!

Anyone else love this movie? Duude, I love it.

Oh yeah this movie never gets old...*sighs* Mr. President...lol thats who my sisters and I love in this movie...

and also the part where they had to plant the virus in the mother ship and had to get the heck out of there...

Yeah I know but the saddest part is where the president's wife dies. If only they could have got to her sooner :( Awwww that part always makes me cry...especially the little girl hugging her mom basically it's the last time she'll see her. ~sniffles~

yeah but she didn't really know what was going on...it was more painful for the husband...

one thing I always think when I watch the movie is that is it just me or is the dog in the movie the luckiest dog in teh world? He survived with everyone else..

Yeah I know! Remember when they are in the tunnel and the fire comes rushing past and the dog jumps through the door just as that massive wall of fire hits!

Yeah and he was luckly enough to make it...he should have died and let the First Lady live but the movie wouldn't have been as touching and interesting if all the main characters family lived..

everytime I watch it I know she'll die but I keep thinking "If only she didn't keep pausing so much to watch the TV or whatever...she could have made it.."

I know I think the same thing. She spends too much time watching it. And if they helipcopters could have got there like 3 minutes earlier and then left before that ball thingy was blasted they all would have survived.

oh wow yes! I love this film. It mixes everything into it, action, suspense, comedy, sadness...It has got to be one of my favourite films - i cant believe i forgot about it

When i first watched this movie i jumped up and down screaming "IS THE DOG ALIVE, IS THE DOG ALIVE!?!?!?" and when they showed the dog, which was just fine and dandy, i had a party :D I loooooooove will smith!!!! If i ever find someone who looks like he and has his humor, i wanna marry him *writes down* Okay, i have to marry many guys to keep my promises O.O *looks at her long list of guys to marry* Whoa, i'm a busy person!! lol

Anyway, i like this movie, but at some parts it gets a bit boring.. atleast when you've seen it so many times before and just wait to see the real action! :D

David Levinson: [trying to make a break for the exit] Tunnel. Tunnel. Tunnel. Left, exit, exit.
Captain Steven Hiller: Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!
[shouts]
Captain Steven Hiller: Shut up!
David Levinson: Must go faster. Must go faster! Go, go, go, go!

Captain Steven Hiller: [escapes from the alien ship]
[shouts]

David Levinson: Oh, thank you very much. Oh, I love you man!

I just looove that part ^^ Yes, i love much lol.

This movie rocked! I watch it quite a bit. Wil Smith is awesome. This movie has everything a good movie should. It is funny, suspensful, tons of action, love and romance and the graphics were super!! One of my all time favorites!
