who would be your all time favourite harry potter character?

Now onto who my favourite character is...hmm that's a difficult question. This'll probably sound strange but in fanon, in a really well written fic, Lily and James are two of my favourite characters. We haven't seen much of them in the books, really only that short scene in Snape's pensieve, but if a fanfic author writes them well, I really like their characters. I'm hoping JKR will write more about them in book seven.

But in terms of actual canon, I think Ginny is one of my favourite characters. A lot of fandom hates her (for reasons which I don't get), but I think she's a great character there's loads to like about her character, so I can't understand the antipathy towards her

My favourite character...I have so many! BUt since can't choose I will say I love chocolate frog harry first ever has...though is it an actually haracter? No one ever takes any notice of the poor frogs!

Well, I am stuck here. I really do love all the characters, for without them there would be no story. I love Severus Snape because his character is so complex, so mysterius. We really don't know what side he is on and that intrigues me with a character. When he is mentioned in the books we know things are going to get interesting. And I believe in his innocence. So much that I use the username Snapes_girl here.

But, then, like all of you have said, Fred and George are awesome. They are funny and smart and really liven up the books, and I loved them in the movies. We are talking uber hottness! I squeee everytime they are on the screen. When i read about their crazyness in the books I laugh outloud everytime, so now that I have written all of this, I am going to say the twins. Especially Fred. XD

Well, my favorite characters are Hermione and Luna. I kind of act like a know-it-all, like Hermione, and I kind of look like Luna (or that's what my friends tell me).

BELLATRIX! She is amazingly awesome. Most people are like "EWW I HATE BELLATRIX! SHE'S LIKE VOLDY-POOS FANGIRL!" XD but that's exactly why I love her.

Plus there's so much open on the Bellatrix/Rodolphus ship... it's really fun to RP. And I hate how everyone puts them as being an arranged marriage... I think her parents would've AT LEAST trusted her to pick a worthy husband. So she picked Roddy. :D

My favorite character has to be Narcissa Black I know we dont hear much about her, but I like thinking about what her life had to be growing up.. I mean really think. She was the youngets, and her eldest sister has joined the deatheaters, whilst her other sister married a muggle born. She obviously had to make some descions....

Other that her, I absolutley LOVE lunas character!!! She is sooo much like Me!!!!

Thus one of the reasons as to why I love Luna. She's like the outcast and yet she still manages to get into the crowd without changing. She's still herself and her friends like her that way even though they still find her strange. I admire Luna in some ways because of that. She's just like me in so many ways. It's good to have a character like that.

Jk has put so many diverse characters into her books. That's one of the reasons why I like reading them as well. The characters all feed off of eachother in special ways. It's interesting.

My favorite character is Luna. I love reading the parts of the books that she's in. She's just such a unique character. She stands out from the rest of the characters. With her laughter, and her ability to blurt out the truth. Even if it can be hurtful to other people. She's just so cool!

After Deathly Hallows I liked him a lot more but since I never really liked him before I can't call him my favorite...though he is pretty awesome and I feel bad for him...

I always like the baddies the best... or at least, the seemingly bad guy.

But that's just my personal preference.

Yay! Hermione have been my favorite character ever since. But, I guess I have two other characters listed as my favorites, one is Severus Snape, which at first I am annoyed at him, but soon I realized he's awesome, and different. Although most of the students are scared at him, I still like him. And also, Luna Lovegood, she's not just pretty but she's not afraid of anything, based on my observation

I named way too many number ones I will now pick one. It used to be Hermione, but now I think my favorite is Tonks.

I'm rereading the series for the umpteenth time and I still think Hermione's my favorite and Luna's still up there too but I also really think I should add Lupin and Tonks to my favorites.
