Drake entered the duelling chamber silently, shoulders back, chest out, and head high. How do I get myself into these things? He felt anything but confident, brave yes, but certainly not confident. He saw that his opponent, whomever it may be, had not arrived yet, and decided to practice a few spells while he waited. He padded to one end of the chamber, his mind reeling with various hexes, charms, and curses. "Pluvia." He muttered with a flick of his wand and a gentle rain began to fall. It would help calm his nerves, puls, while making it harder of his opponent to see, it would work to his advantage...Ireland was rainy where he had lived. He started practicing various wand movements, mouthing the incantaion and being careful not to accidentally set another spell off while he awated the arrival of his opponent.

Ally walked into the room and smiled.

"How nice" she said as she flicked her hair unter the rain. she loved rain!

"Protego" she muttered almost silently, feeling warmer as the shield spell surrounded her.

Bowing to Drake politly, she focused her wand towards him and without giving him a chance to speak she shouted "Expeliamus" followed quickly by "Serpensortia"

Drake offered a polite bow back and fixed his emerald eyes on her. But, as planned so it seemed, before he could do anything his wand was expelled from his hand and he was eye to eye with a large snake. He smriked to himself. If only Seamus was here he could talk to the bloody thing, blast it all he being the only one in Gryffindor. He stepped back a few paces to where his wand had landed and carefully picked it up, eyes all the while on the snake. "Glacies!" He gave a very quick flick of his wand, freezing the rain soaked snake to the floor and, thankfully, most of the snake itself. He swept his wand in a wide motion infront of him and close to the floor, a thin sheet of ice over taking the floor. "Vesica." He pointed his wand at hsi own shoes, ice skating blades appreaing on the bottom of them. He smiled and glided forward, near the now frozen snake. "Stupefy!" The red bolt shattered some of the ice, but atleast he wouldn't have to worry about the snake for awhile. He turned his eyes on Ally, "Pallens legs!" (Weak legs) Echoed through the chamber and he was pleased to see her fall down onto the ice. "Tutela contego." (Protective shield)

Allys legs fell from beneath her. Thinking quickly, she pointed her wand at her legs and countered the spell "gambe di stong" (strong legs). Smiling she turned back to drake and pointed her wand at him

"colpo di vento di scudo" (shield blast) followed quickly by "Expeliarmus" and then "petrificus totalus"

Drake smirked and laughed a bit as she tried to hex him. He had used a shield charm for a reason. "Good try." He caught his wand in mid air, which had manged to twitch out of his hand, but didn't get far. "Bonus fortuna!" (Good luck. which conjures leprachauns) He called the incantation of his trademark spell, leprachauns erupting from his wand and swarming her.
