This song brings back memories of my 5th grade talent show. I can still remember how nervous I felt standing back stage. Merranda, Taylor and I were going to sing and dance to the song. I was most nervous about the fact that we we're doing country music instead of pop, or hip hop or R&b. The song takes me back and puts me right there. It takes me back into the same process of walking up onto the stage, dressed in black behind Merranda. It brings back memories of how great it felt when everyone started to clap along, and how things just seemed to fall into place. It makes me remember how great it felt to see people cheering us on.

What I like about the music is really its exactly what it seems. There's no hidden message it is face on what it says. Giving advice to girls and telling them not to worry. I really do just love the simplisty and honesty of the music.

I picked this song because it makes me cry everytime i listen to it. When I was in the 6th grade i had two wonderful best friends that were alway with me since the day we met in 2nd grade. We always did everything together and we loved each other like sisters. Then the time came to graduate to a new school. We did so together and throughout 6th grade we were as close as ever. One day I will never forget is the day they left me for good.

It was towards the end of the year and we had just gotten back from the annual 6th grade camping trip and all were excited and content from the giant two-night sleepover. The next day in math class, we were splitting in to groups and i went with another girl which angered my two best friends. I didn't notice until lunch. I went to talk to them at our table and they moved away. Surely, they were playing a game i thought, after all thats what we did. So I sat down next to other friends and enjoyed my lunch. Outside i went to talk to them, again ignored but this time they told me to get away from them. I did deeply hurt and upset. This continued for a week. All week they teased me ignored me our gossiped about me until finally i was reduced to tears and went to hang ouit with people to whom i was never close with. However they talked to me and comforted me when these girls made my life miserable. I can never thank them enough. Me and my former best friends have never made up but i am more than willing to and honestly forgive them. However I know that if we ever do our relationship will never be the same.

As for my best friends now. They know what I've been through and are always there for me which is why this song makes me realize that we are always together and everything happens for a reason. If I never fought with my old besty friends, I wouldn't have the friends I have today.

I love the poetic lyrics and how the two best friends are singing to each other not knowing if they'll ever meet again. I song i will truly play for my best friends on our 8th grade graduation when we will all divide up into diffrent high schools. This song is just beautiful.

Well i love this song because whenever i cry or am depressed i listen to this song either to hear the "everything is gonna be alright" part or maybe think a heroe will save my life from the dark.
The violin parts in it also tug at my heart, this isnt a feel good song but its good to know a song can feel the same as you or vice versa.
Yellowcard is also my favourite band and have a way with violin incorporated in their songs, also i can relate to the lyrics and their songs always make me feel better, or stop me from feeling any worser.

The first time I heard this song I was wondering about wheather or not my life was worth anything, but this song came on and told me other wise. As the queen of breaking up, this song hits me hard. To me its saying that sometimes even the strongest love dosnt turn out right. I mean to most people they wouldnt get anything like that from this song, but when I listen to it it makes me think of the close people around me. Take My Mother and Father, There in love but they cant be together and they probably never will be together. Life cant be perfect otherwise it would be boring.But at the end of the day we always have each other. I mean the guy I love can make me cry one minnute and turn around and make me smile the next. And the best part is I know he will always be there for me. I mean we might get mad at each other on the journey, but hes always going to have my back and thats what this song makes me think of. *sigh* Ok this song makes me feel really sad and nine times out of ten i cry when i listen to it because this is then song that was playing the last time i said goodbye to my friend ross who moved to aus like a week ago lol. This is really emotional for me. I've deticated it to so many people that I have lost. My uncles, my gramps, two of my cousins, a baby sister, five of my closest friends..Death has been around me. If wish so many times to see them all, to hold them and sometimes I do wonder if they think about me at all up there.

Sure, time passes and the pain stops, but it's still going to leave a scar. And that song represents my scar because everytime I hear it, I go into a trance and mumble the words, and then i find myself crying. This song means alot to me. I have been told many times by people i love and trust they will do this or that and they never follow through. I feel that some day everything they told they would do but never did will fade away as it says. I also feel that it doesnt matter what you say. You could say that you hated me and said that you were never going to talk to me again but the moment you talk to me it's all over and someday we wont remeber what you said. I think it also provides the importance of a promise you can promise that you will love someone for ever but if you dont then it will forgotten someday. the part where it goes you cant take back what you put me through I can really relate because I have been put through alot and I'm sorry doesnt always work for me. It doesnt matter how many times you say it matters when when you stop. Also I believe that also proves that you may be not be the one teasing someone but if you stand back and watch that action says that you dont care and you just as bad as the bully if not worse. In that certain instance it doesnt matter what you say it matters what you do and in alot of the other times people stand back and watch. This summer i was put through alot and it was alot of actions and words said I dont remebeer all that was said I rember all that was done. I am in love with this song. It just makes me feel all happy and good. It's basically about saying that no matter what happens I'll always be there for my friends. One unfortunate memory this song brings is one of my ex-friends. And how she always told me that she'll be there for me, but she wasn't. But it also reminds me of all the great times my real friends and I have. I also like this song because it's real. It talks about how life really is. Some days things just aren't perfect and things do go wrong. And I love how this song shows that.

I cose this song because it makes me feel sad for two reason. One because he's cheating on his girlfriend.. well sort of and he lost his true love when you know they're supposed to be together. It helps me let out my emotions when i'm feeling down.

The piece I chose was My Name is Lincoln which was used in the soundtrack for the movie The Island. Though this song doesn't have any lyrics, I think it is just as emotional, if not more emotional, than other songs I've heard and love.

I absolutley love this piece of music. Everything from the ways the harmony fits together to the inter-weaving of parts and just the melody itself manage to give me goosebumps and takes me through a range of emotions as the piece progresses.

This song definitley takes me to a completley different world. When it first starts, I actually feel as though I'm leaving this world and traveling to somewhere completley different. And then from :18-1:05 just gives me this feeling of waking up to find myself in this new place, with a new start and this sense of pure wonder of looking around at where I've been taken. When the main theme starts up at 1:11 I feel like it's showing me this place of incredible beauty of the world. I also feel like I'm being brought through all my memories both good and bad and finally accepting everything that happens. The sense of adventure I get in this song is incredible and as the song continues to build up (2:32) I feel it continues to get even more emotional to the point where by 3:00 all I want to do is cry because it's just so incredibly touching inside. I know I'm not doing a very good job of explaining this feeling because it's almots unreal to me because as I hear this song I have this longing to be in the place that I imagine for myself when I hear it. Then at around 3:18 at the sudden release I'm struck by this awed feeling and as the theme starts up again I'm left with this sad feeling mixed with joy because it seems to be saying to me that all things eventually end but that if I've made the best of it, then it will all have been worth it and I can always go back. And as I said earlier, it's like I've finally come to be at peace with all the mistakes or decisions I've made that may have had good or bad consequences in my life.

This song is just so beautiful to me that I can't help but feel overwhelmed when I listen. This is the type of song I would imagine would play in the background when I die. I feel it's so calming and just tells you that everything will be okay because something new and enthralling is beginning in my life.

So despite the lack of actual lyrics to respond to, I feel the melody, build up and release of this song really hits home with me and brings me through so many emotions. I listen to the song all the time, espicially if I'm feeling sad, confused or lost. It always manages to calm me and give me a sense of peace.

The song Smuggled Mutation by Estradasphere is one of my all-time favourite pieces of music. The piece is endlessly expressive, wildly creative, and combines true musical talent with a relentless drive that makes the song so special and dear to me.

Though the song lacks lyrics, I do not think this a deficiency in its composition – rather, it makes it a thinking piece in that you are following the contours of the music, and not words that ultimately would demean the integrity of the message that the song conveys (I’ll leave you to make your own conclusions).

Thus one of the reasons I love this song so much is that as soon as the first note is played, I am transported from my comfy seat – or wherever I may be – and I am placed in a world not my own, and it is hard to crawl back once you’ve listened through the song in its entirety (particularly if you play through the album, which is one of the best I’ve ever had the fortune to hear). Some images of note that are conjured by the music are ones from a time long past; these come primarily from the first minute of the song. The mixture of fiddle and accordion take me to a more Victorian era, and when the other instruments are layered – seamlessly – into the song, the song becomes very much like something out of a Steampunk vision. This is one of the great things that draws me to the music of Estradasphere. I have a passion for Steampunk, and enjoy the genre so much more when music such as Smuggled Mutation complements my visions of an alternate reality. As well as this, it inspires me to imagine a forest, where gypsies are seated around a large fire, and dancers in long, willowy skirts are dancing to the fiddle. I can smell the wood smoke and wet underbrush when I listen.

As to emotion, Smuggled Mutation creates an atmosphere which leaves me exhilarated and thrilled, and I feel as though I’ve just been on a long journey – one that I never wanted to end. It’s mischievous music (the best kind), effortless in execution (just listen to that fiddle, it’s amazing), and leaves you wanting much, much more.
