DA Meeting

"Maybe, Molly I suggest you try again,"

"Alright." Molly said. This time she tried even harder and said the spell more forcefully. "Granceal!" "Did it work?!" she said hopefully as she opened her eyes again.

"Um," Dani didn't want to say. "It worked but..." She handed her a mirror.

Molly hastily grabbed the mirror and her mouth dropped in shock. Her face looked completly mutaded! Her nose was off center, mouth off to the left, and one eye was above the other! She threw the mirror back onto the table and desperatly tried to picture herself back to normal. "Granceal!!!"

Sky looked over at Molly and her mouth fell open. "Goodness Molly, that is not a good look for you, but, it is hard to get spells right at first. That's why we practice before we do it out in the wizarding world."

Sky took a deep breath and pointed her wand at her face. She imagined her eyebrows thicker, her nose slightly smaller and her eyes a little larger. "Granceal" She said and waited to see what happened.

Molly finished saying the spell and rushed over to find the mirror. She was releaved to find that her face was back to normal. "Thank the lord! My face is back!" Shouted, punching the air. "Ok, I'm going back at it." She said. She cleared her mind of everything, except what she wanted to change about her. She wanted an 'Ashley Simpson' nose, plumper lips, a thiner face, and to be taller. SHe focused completly on that and said the spell "Granceal!"

"Molly, you did it!!" Sky said exitedly. "Now, how do I look?" She grabbed a mirror and was about to look into it.

"Like you just got a complete makeover in LA dah-ling." Molly said in fake accent. "You know what? We could picture ourselves as celebrities and then walk around giving out fake autographs!" Jessie said throwing her arms in the air. "Wait isn't that illegel?" Molly asked. "Oh crap, it is." Jessie said glumly. "Sky you look awesome!" She said perking back up.

"Thanks!" Sky said. "This is quite a bit of fun. And the better we get at it, the better we will be at going up against the dark wizards."

Sky looked at Molly and Jessie. "Do you know the spell to make your hair jet black? I have always loved black hair."

"Don't ask us, ask Dani! She knows all this stuff." Jessie said putting her hands up as she was surrendering. "I like the whole blue hair thing, I just might keep it." Molly said smiling and staring at a strand of her bright blue hair.

"Yes. blue is a great color for you. So, what should we do now?"

Molly smiled. "I don't know, what now?" Jessie said turning towards Dani.

"Good job, you guys, okay here goes my attempt." She pulled out her wand and pointed it at herself. "Granceal," She whispered and closed her eyes. Opening them she gazed into a mirror and moved her long green hair behind her ears and survayed herself. "Okay so a smaller nose and darker skin tone. Perfect."

She pulled down one of the books on the shelve and started to read. "Okay so I looked up the spell for black hair and how to do all this stuff silently." She said putting aside a book, "it's Hira Jeblan, and to do it silently... Who know's sign language?"

Jessie's face instatnly lit up. One of her cousins is deaf and the entire family can speak sign-language. "I can!" She said excitedly. She loves to speak sign language.

Sky closed her eyes and concentrated really hard. She wanted to try the nonverbal spell Dani had told her about to change her hair color to black. "Hira Jeblan" She said to herself. She opened her eyes and asked Dani if it worked.

"I know a thing or two of sign language" Skully said, smiling. "Though i'm not an expert." She turned to sky. "It worked, sky, it worked! You look great!" She said, handing her a mirror.

Sky smiled. "Oh good. I am pretty new at these non-verbal spells, but they usually come easy to me. So, now, sign language. That is something I will need a lot of practice with."

"Here i'll show you. Just do what i do." Jessie said walking over to Sky. She slowly started signing the spell Dani tought her for pink eyes.

Sky stood there with a confused look on her face. She wiggled her fingers around trying to do what Jessie was showing her. "Umm..I think I got it." Just then a butterfly flew out of Sky's wand and began divebombing them all in the room.

"OK, I think I may have done something wrong, unless the spell was supposed to conjure a psycotic butterfly?"

Dani laughed, "Okay so pysco butterflies, pretty close. Actually your supose to do the color sign and then touch the bodypart you want changed to that color." She signed the word for white and touched her hair. She smiled as it turned the pure color.

Sky was a litle embarrased. "Ok then." She copied Dani exactly and touched her hair. "Did it work?" She asked.

Dani laughed again, "Yeah, but now it's half and half, black and white. It looks really cool though." She smiled "I'd actually leave it,"

"Ok then, I will leave it. I wonder how that happened?" Sky looked in the mirror and had to laugh. "So, what next?"

"Maybe we should work on hight now," She said pulling down another book, flipping through the pages she paused and shut it again. "The spell is Grewn, it says better results if used nonverbally." She pulled out her wand and thought Grewn and closed her eyes. "Tell me, was it a disaster?"

Jessie sighned the color red then touched her hair. She darted over to the mirror and was very pleased to see her hair was now fire engine red. "Sky! Your hair hair looks very funky today." Jessie said laughing. "No, but seriously, it looks good!"

"Well, it was a mistake Jessie. I wanted it all white but it only did it half way." Sky looked over twards Dani. "Oh my God Dani. You are like 7 feet tall!"

Dani open her eyes, "Damn, I was going for short too..." She bent over to grab the book back off the shelf flipping back to the page on hight she sat down on one of the coushions reading. Smiling she set the book aside and flicked her wand, She shrunk to her normal size. "Well at least it works."

"True, at least you got a change anyway. These spells are rather hard. Good thing we are practicing."

"Yeah, I would probably run away and hide for the rest of my life if I tried one of these spells and messed up in front of the DEs." Molly said. "Although, they'd be to busy laughing to notice we were attacking them." Jessie said laughing.

Dani laughed, "This stuff is really hard. But it's worth it to learn,"

"Yeah." Jessie agreed. "This will come in really handy."

"You know, making the deatheaters laugh could come to our advantage. We could face them pretending we didn't know what we were doing, then when they laugh at us we strike em all at once. They will never know what hit them!" Sky said excitedly.

"Oh my god yes! Or we could all use these spells to look like bunches of Britney Spears robots and they'd start cracking up then we'd pounce!" Jessie said punch the air.

Dani laughed, "yeah, that'd be awesome."

"Not Awesome, HILARIOUS!" Molly added.

Dani laughed again. "Yeah, I can see it not, Oops I did it again, and a bunch of deatheaters tripping over themselves laughing."

Jessie hopped up on a chair. "I PLAYED WITH YOUR HEART! OH BABY BABY!" She sang.

"That would be too funny. I bet old Voldie-boy would get up and start dancing!" Sky giggled.

"With that catchy tune, who wouldn't!" Molly said laughing.

"Is there a spell to hipmotize someone with music Dani. Like the spell the flute put on Fluffy?" Sky asked.

"I think there is," She flipped through another book. "Yep, although it says here in the fine print, everything but Brittney." She laughed.

"Let's try it. You guys can practice on me!" Sky said to the group.

"What! That's discrimination! They can't do that!" Jessie protested jumping off the chair.

"Okay, Hpnotuisc!" Dani yelled and a boombox began playing Shikira's hips don't lie.

Sky immediatly began to feel sleepy. She could feel her head getting heavy. She knew what was going on but was so tired she didn't care.

Dani turned off the music, "Sky you feeling okay?"

Sky was asleep standing up. "Sky! SKY!" Jessie said snapping her fingers infront of Sky's face. She jerked awake suddenly.

"So back from the dead," Dani said giving her friend a pat on the shoulder.

"Wow, that was too weird. I knew what was going on but couldn't talk or move or anything." Sky stretched her arms and sat down on the floor.

"freaky" Dani said, moving to grab another book.
