| Welcome to the class! A little easier than usual, this class will make use of your story telling skills. I want you to look at each of the pictures given below, and write a short account (50 - 100 words per picture), as if you were there at that time, and are describing what you saw to a friend. Don't forget to identify each creature too. There are 20 points available per picture, giving a possible 100 points total. You may do as few or as many as you like. Good Luck! | Here goes nothing XD
1) There was this huge dragon. It was red and orangish. Then it just blew all this fire at this army. it was like that part in Sleeping Beauty except that there were a bunk of guys instead of one. Seriously he was standing on this hill and all these idiot knights started charging at it like they would take it down or something! But that dragon just blew fire at them like they were nothing!
2) So there I was in this beautiful field with a water fall and loads of flowers. Also the way the sun was shining made a little rainbow type thing in the waterfall, beautiful. Anyway then all of a sudden comes this unicorn. It was so purely white it hurt my eyes to look at it! And its horn on its head…I mean wow it was just so magnificent. And with all the water around it made the unicorn look even more pure, if that was even possible!
3) No so seriously I was diving down into the water. Like way down at the bottom of the ocean. Its gorgeous down there you know with all those little plants and every thing. So I am looking at them, they were such a pretty blue color though some things were green, but anyway and in this gigantic clam. There is the most amazing thing sleeping. A mermaid. I mean it she had this brown hair and a tail and everything!
4) I was sitting there just minding my own business when suddenly out of nowhere comes this huge unicorn. And You will never guess what was on it! It was a war goddess or something, because she was all blue, and dress in this horrible blue skimpy outfit, I mean really. But then she starts to summon this creatures that are like shadows. I mean it they had this huge red cloud type thing surrounding them!
5) I was just minding my own business laying on the ground watching the birds and bees come around a pollinate the flowers when I saw something amazing. I’m not lying, I saw a pixie. Seriously! It was like touching this pink flower and this little light came out of her hand. At first I thought I was seeing things but I watched and she did it again! It was really a pixie, her skin was pink and her hair was like this redish pink!

| 1. You wouldn't believe it but, I had to duck behind my sheild for protection from the fire the huge orane dragon was ommiting. He looked so scary with his large, fleshy wings outsrteched into the sky. Fellow dragon keepers were dartin back and forth trying to control it but nothing would do. It just wouldn't calm down. 2. I decided to take a break form the heat of the fire and to find some water to drink. Well I had just moved around some trees to a clearing I knew had a small brook and there I saw a pearly white unicorn. It was bent over drinking but it heard my footsteps or my breathing becasue it turned around and stepped toward me. It was so beautiful I was in awe. 3. After it ran away, I took some gillyweed out of my pocket and chewed it steadily. WHen I felt the effects taking shape I jumped into the water for a little dip. I swam through the water steadily until I came to the bottom, where I saw this mermaid sitting in a giant oyster shell. It winked and a waved at me but I had to go, an hour was almost up. 4. When I resurfaced, the unicorn was back but something was diffrent it had wings like Pegasues. I saw the white smoke had filled the clearing and there was a witch on the unicorn. Silently I tread water as I saw the witch reach into the air and from a read picture that turned the rest of the sky black. White light was shooting out everywhere. It was so bright I went back under water. 5. Slowly I climbed out of the brook and ut my clothes back on. Nothing looked as if anything had happened at all. Everything was normal except.. Over in the far corner of the clearing there was a twinking little light. I got up and walked over to it and there was a fairy sitting on the flower as plain as could be. I wanted to sit and admire it, but I couldn't. I heard calls from the battlefeild calling my name. | |

| Pic one) After many days of travel i have came across one of my most favorite cretures the dragon. As i was walking near this volcano i saw this dragon trying to protect its young the the stupid muggles were trying to kill it because it was killing thier cattle. As soon as the muggles attacked she blew out a mighty flame of ire and kill a few of the muggles. After this incident the ministry of magic had to come and erase thier memories.
Pic 2) I was speanding some time out in my cottage when i came across this magnificent creature. It was a unicorn and it was grazing in the pature near my cottage. I feed it some berries and after it was filled it ran off with its heard playing with the others as it went.
Pic 3) I decided to go as the muggles call scuba diving and as i was swiming i came across this mermade sleeping. I didnt want her to be discovered by the muggles so i woke her up and told her that she must go or the muggles will attack her. She swam away but only after giving me one of the prettiest shells that i have ever seen.
Pic 4)One day after a hard day at work i decided to rest outside when a man on a peguses flew over head. He looked lost so i quickly called my broom and flew towards him to see if he needed directions. He was looking for diagon Ally and took a wrong turn. I gave him directions and he left me have a go on his peguses. Needless to say i perfer a broom
Pic 5) One day i was taking pictues of some bug for this science project that i had. as i saw looking from plant to plant trying to find a humming bird i came across this fairy. We said hi to each other and i invited her in for some tea. I did have to shrink one of my cups. After tea i helped her find her family and weve been friends ever sience.

| #1. There we were ready to battle the Romans when all of a sudden an enormous orange dragon swooped down from the sky and landed right in the middle of the field we were in. It faced twards us and opened it's great mouth and begun to breath fire at us all. We turned around and high tailed it out of there.
#2. While walking through the meadow one delightful afternoon to pick wildflowers I heard a rustling noise from the banks of the waterfall. When I turned the corner to see what it was my breath was taken away by a magnificent unicorn standing before me. After several minutes of me staring at her she reared up and took off across the stream and into the forest.
#3. While on a scuba diving trip the instructors told me not to dive too deeply because there were dangerous creatures in the deep water. I ignored them and dwelled to the bottom of the ocean to see if I could see anything different. Needless to say I did. While at the bottom I saw the most beautiful thing I had ever before seen. There was a mermaid asleep snuggled up half inside a huge clam shell. When I told the instructors what I saw they laughed and threw me off the boat.
#4. After the battle with the Romans and seeing the dragon another strange thing happened. We were running away from the dragon but it kept chasing us. All of a sudden out of nowhere a beautiful witch wearing blue came flying by on a pale blue pegasus. We all just froze when we saw this. She screamed something at the dragon which we couldn't under stand and then threw some kind of sparkly powder on it. The dragon became trapped inside the sun and eventually dissapeared.
#5. After a long walk in the meadow I became tired and took a nap amoungst the flowers. When I awoke I opened my eyes and had to rub them several times before I realized what I was seeing was real. A tiny naked polka dotted fairy with very long hair was attempting to pick a lily. She was having an awful time trying so I asked her, "Would you like some help?" She said yes. I picked the flower and handed it to her. She kissed my cheek and in a split second had flown away.

| Number 1:
Upon our travels within the mountains in the hope of bringing the giants onto our side, we came across a group of death eaters equiped with the biggest dragon I had ever seen. Many of my comrads were killed, yet I was able to take the infamous Harry Potters idea and swoop around, shielded, and help knock the firebreathing beast down. The deatheaters were another matter though...
Number 2:
After a long day in Hogwarts School, I tool a walk into the forbidden forest only to aimlessly wander into the most beautiful clearing. I was there no longer than five minutes when the most pure of all creatures came into view, a beautiful pure white unicorn.
Number 3:
The great lake is one of my favourite places to relax after a hard days studying. I have been able to befriend certain merpeople and learn their language, including Saphire, the merperson in the picture. Unfortunatly she was not too well on this day and slept a lot. It is my belief that she had seaweed poisoning.
Number 4:
Our vicious fight with dragons did not stop in the mountains. Further along on our quest, a group of red dragons tried to kill us with their flame breath. When I was knocked to the floor, I could barely see what was before me, yet a sight so amazing filled my dimmed vision. An unknown woman upon a flying unicorn somehow beat the dragons back, her auror shining brightly. I passed out after that, yet I owe my life to that stranger.
Number 5:
the forbidden forest holds many creatures and upon walking through a beautiful clearing, I stopped in my tracks. A small fairy, no bigger than my hand, shone brightly among the flowers. After accidently stepping on a twig, her face shot up alarmed, yet she quickly smiled at me and flew off.

| Picture One I honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into when I followed the others to the clearing. There was a bunch of rukus coming from that area and we went to check it out. Turned out to be a dragon and it wasn't friendly either! The moment it layed on us, it raged out it's fire! I got the mark on my bum to prove it too.
Picture Two There are some woods near my house and so one day I decided to do a bit of exploring. I was just having some fun, seeing as I had done alot of chorse. All of suddne I heard hoofbeats and automatically thought my father was onhis way back. Apparently, I was wrong, it was much better! A unicorn! I had always dreamed of seeing one! Here, it was right in front of me! Unfortunatly, I scared it off.
Picture Three It was a hot day out. Must have been the hottest day of the year. Me and my friends thought swimming in the ocean would help. Bad Luck followed me because I got caught in a rip current. I ended up a long ways from the surface. My insticnt told me to go up, but that's when saw! A gorgoeus mermaid, sleeping peacefully in a rather large shell. I thought I was hallucinating when I started to go blurry. The last I ever remember was seeing her face as she threw me onto the shore. It was real, I know it was..
Picture Four After the encounter with the dragon and the burn on my bum, I headed back to camp. A shadow fell over me and I looked up to see a wonderous woman sitting atop of a flying horse! My eyes were not decieving me because others saw it as well. There was a bright llight that came from her staff and the next moment she was gone, including the dragon.
Picture Five So, I'm laying on the grass of my mother's garden. It was just about dusk. I usually came out to watch the fire flies. However, only few appeared and one seemed not to be light. I decied to check it out, maybe it was dying? When I was close enough, I realized it was not a fire fly, but a pixie! She had just come to take a sniff of mother's flowers. I called to my family, but when I turned the pixie had vanished. My family didn't believe me, but I know what I saw was real.

| 1. Okay so there was this great big dragon. And it was surrounded by these guys, that were poking it with their spears and such trying to make this dragon come to their tea party. But the dragon didn't like tea so he blwe fire at the little dudes and burnt them to crisps. It was so hot, like a sauna.
2. After the dragon and me had a long talk about coffee I was wandering the fields of Green Grass and stumbled upon this beautiful unicorn that was dancing. So I asked the unicorn why it was dancing and she replied 'because' in one of those stuck up snobbish voices and I said 'fine then!' and left. She was a very rude unicorn.
3. So I was hot and tired and decide to go for a swim in the murky ocean, when I dived into the sea I saw a beautiful green skaly mermaid that seemed like she was sleeping. So I went to wake her up and she started to yell at me and told me to go away. She was cranky I believe.
4. So me and my buddy Sid were racing on our Pegaususes when we saw a dark and red shape in a cave near by. So we stopped to look at it, in shock we discover that it was merely a lady bug that had grown in size. But my pegasus bolted and ran away before I could have a closer look.
5.While walking out in the forest of little green things I was this really cute fairy pick a flower. So I smiled at her and invited her to a tea party with me and Mr. Dragon. But the fairy explained that she could not attend for she needed to see a man about a twinky. So I waved goodbye to the fairy and continued on.
(I you don't believ my lies are true, go ask the blind man, he saw them too.)

| 1. Well, once upon a time I traveled to the Middle Ages for some research on a History of Magic project. Well, when I had finished my research, I had brought this bag of marshmallows, and I was just about to roast them for lunch when there was a huge commotion. So I ran into the valley and saw this huge battle going on! I couldn’t believe it. There were all these men in armor and chain mail attacking a majestic orange and red dragon. I knew I had to do something at once, so I ran onto the battle field and stunned several of the knights. The rest all ran away screaming about Black Magic. So there I was, face to face with this ferocious dragon. What was I to do? Then I remembered the bag of marshmallows. So I pulled it out and showed them to the dragon and asked if he would like to join me for a snack. The dragon-dare I say it?-smiled, and toasted all of the marshmallows for the both of us. We spent the rest of the day contentedly eating the snacks, and I was very sad to go. I still visit Bob sometimes, and we make the best s’mores ever. I plan on selling some of them to buy a new broom. But that’s another story!
2. I was calmly walking my pet niffler Voldiewarts (no, relation) through the verdant field of flowers behind my house when I heard a strange noise. Poor Voldiewarts became curious, and began niffling in the direction of the sound, that is, right underneath the waterfall I had built last summer. I was sure we would find what we had heard when upon turning the corner, we saw nothing. But then, I caught something out of the corner of my eye. I left Voldiewarts eating some dandelions that were growing nearby, and raced after what I knew I had seen. This time, when I turned the corner, there was indeed something there, and that something was a pure white unicorn. I was awed at once, and attempted to approach this beautiful creature. It took me three tries and I lost a shoe in the process, but eventually I was able to pet her. As if the day could not be anymore perfect, a rainbow appeared over the falls. I then rode the unicorn all the way to the nearest wall mart and screamed over the intercom of an unused register “Would Ron Wealsey and Hermione Granger PLEASE stop snogging in the tupperware aisle!” As I rode away, I heard a distinct “Bloody Hell”…Anyways, it was nearly dark by the time I returned to my unnaturally large backyard and climbed off of the unicorn’s back. When I retrieved Voldiewarts-he had fallen asleep underneath a bush-and turned to say good bye to my new friend, I discovered she was already gone.
3. I was less than thrilled when I heard I was going to be dumped into a foreign ocean to fend for myself. That is, I was to be going on a scuba diving lesson with my family. When we finally got into the water after a 10 hour (okay, minute) long instruction on how to breathe properly with the use of the scuba tank, I dove in and decided to see how far I could go to the bottom of the ocean. When I reached the bottom, I saw something shimmering inside a shell. To my surprise, it was a sleeping aquamarine-tailed mermaid. I gasped, and she stirred and looked up at me, blinking her gray eyes up through her floating blonde hair. She opened her mouth and sang, “I am Coral, mermaid of the southern seas, I will answer one question that you ask of me,” I thought for a moment and then asked-I was somehow able to speak without drowning, I guess muggles finally got something right-“What is the meaning of all life?” She smiled at me and said simply, “42!” Before falling back asleep. As I swam dejectedly up to the surface, I couldn’t help but thinking to myself. “I guess Lifey was right…”
4. So, there I was, walking along a cloud minding my own business when this blue flying horse came up to me. And of all things to happen next, the horse starts talking. What did the horse say you ask? Well, I’ll tell you, it said ‘Come with us, O One of Extreme Power, we have need of your help!” Now, I appreciate a compliment as much as the next Hufflepuff, but I was trying to enjoy a calming walk on a cloud for Merlin’s sake! So I politely told the Pegasus-I felt slightly foolish talking to a horsey thing, mind you-“Um, I’m sorry, but I, er, have to re-organize Blaise’s sock drawer and I don’t think I can help you.” The Pegasus shook its head and said. “This is far more important. You see, a potion has gone wrong and Snowy and Emma have been turned into horrible beasts!” I chuckled and joked, “You mean, more or less than their usual beastly selves?” Wouldn’t you know it but flying horses don’t have a sense of humor. The thing just blinked at me and the next thing I knew I was flying on its back, the wind whipping back my hair. “Here, you’ll need to wear this to fight them.” And in a flash of blue light, everything about me was blue, my hair, and my outfit. Which then changed to a blue cape, arm band, garter, leotard and boots, Dumbledore help me. Let me tell you something-wearing something like that while flying very high in the air on the back of a horse is very cold. I was not in a good mood. “So, you dress me up like someone just escaped from the circus, and expect me to fight my friends?!” The Pegasus shrugged-if that is even possible for a horsey thing-and said “Yes.” Well, we finally landed in a cave which had some fire glowing in the back of it, and I could see a dragon and some spikey hairy sort of thing silhouetted in the flames. “We don’t know how to fight them, but you have the power, use it.” “Whatever…” I knew to turn them back I had to give them something to eat or drink that they liked to have them return to their human forms. I glared first at the dragon and waved my arm, and sparkly blue magic flew from my gloved finger tips. A gigantic blue-what else?-cup of coffee flew towards the dragon, which picked up the cup with its monstrous claws and sipped it. A moment later, Emma was standing on the edge of the cup, which was several times larger than she was now that she wasn’t a dragon, and tottered in. “OW! Hot hot hot hot hot hot!!” I ignored her, because I had to turn my twinny back from…whatever she was. I waved my arm again and two huge banana nut muffins flew into the other beast’s mouth. She chewed for a moment, and then turned back into Snowy, who looked like a chipmunk. You must understand that her mouth was stuffed with muffin. I took a moment to snap a picture for later blackmail. Don’t ask me how I found a camera in that darned leotard…. So, both of them climbed onto the Pegasus-we rescued Emma from the coffee cup by threatening to show certain icons to all of HE, she climbed out surprisingly quickly after that-and I made them swear not to tell a soul about our entire adventure on the pain of turning them into Slytherins. This, however, did not stop them from mocking my outfit the entire flight back to our dorms…
5. During our lunch break, several friends and I were picking flowers near Hagrid’s hut behind the Hogwarts Experience castle. Amber was about to pick an orange bloom when she screamed and jumped back. “What is that?!” We all looked to where her finger was pointing, and saw a small peach coloured faerie fluttering from flower to flower. Wherever she touched, the petals glowed. “Why, it’s a canon faerie!” Jimmy said. “They come out on OBHWF day and spread canon cheer throughout the world!” We all stared. “…Don’t ask me how I know that.” Was the only thing he would say. Amber folded her arms and frowned, “I hate canon! I hate Hinny and Romione! It’s so pointless… Harmony, Drinny, and Runa all the way!” The faerie stopped moving and the glow coming from her faded a little. “Oh no…” Jimmy whispered. “What now?” Emma asked, having been sipping her coffee at a safe distance from the flowers in case of bees. “Well, canon faeries will die if you say you don’t believe in canon in their presence. To get her light to come back, we have to say we believe in the canon ships!” Everyone nodded and Jimmy, being the current faerie expert, picked her up and said, “I do believe in canon! I do I do!” He then passed her to Amy, who whispered, “I do believe in Hinny, I do I do!” Swifty was the next to get the faerie, and somewhat grudgingly said, “I do believe in Romione, I do I do!” Swifty was a known Dramione fan, but was not one to let small creatures perish in front of her. It just wasn’t her way. Emma excitedly picked up the faerie, causing Jimmy to shout “DON’T SQUISH HER!” Emma glared and mumbled “I do believe in Romione, I do do do do do do dooo!” I gently relieving the faerie of Emma’s Romione rant and whispered, “I do believe in OBHWF, I do, I do!” The faerie’s glow was starting to be restored. We all turned to Amber. “It’s up to you to save her.” I said as I handed her the faerie. “…Do I have to?” she asked. “Yes! Do you want her to die!?!” I gasped, exasperated. “Well..no..but…grr…I do believe in Hinny and Romione and Dansy and Haxime and Donky (AN: Dobby/Winky) and Limes! I do! I do!” she glared at us all, not noticing the faerie rising up in her hand with a flutter of her butterfly-like wings. “Happy now?” It wasn’t us, but the faerie who spoke next. “Yes, I am. And to thank you, I shall cover you with OBHWF dust goodness for the whole day!” She spun around, covering Amber with rainbow glitter and then fluttered away. Amber sneezed and groaned. “I think I’m allergic to canon…” This caused all of us to giggle at poor Amber’s plight until she retaliated in revenge. All of us were thoroughly soaked with water balloons within the space of 10 minutes. Where she finds the space to put all of those wet weapons of mass destruction, I don’t precisely want to know. Before she walked away, I heard her mumble, "That'll teach you, now I'm off to go wash my mouth with pumpkin flavoured, shaped, and scented soap." Honestly where does the woman GET these things?! I don't really know... But I do know that I’m incredibly glad to have tape-recorded the whole incident for future generations. Just don’t tell Amber that. :D

| 1. These silly muggles thought they could take on a full grown dragon all by themselves with only spears, swords and shields! And not just any dragon, but a full grown Peruvian Vipertooth. Lovely coppery/orange colour and it's belly shone when it blew fire at them. They provoked it of course, jabbing at it with their ineffective little swords. I had gone to subdue and capture it, I mean what it was doing in South East England I'll never know. I tell you now, these smugglers will be the death of me.
2. So I moved to this new house because of the encroaching muggles in my old one. Its in the middle of nowhere. Right next door is the beautiful meadow full of summer flowers and the view of the mountain with the waterfall is just precious. Anyway I was degnoming my garden the other day and just as I was about to go in, you'll never guess what I saw? A unicorn. Appeared out of the woods to the left of the mountain. Beautiful it was, bright and white as fresh untouched snow. It was making its way slowly around the meadow, chomping on this bit of grass and that. Of course I was just dumb struck. Never had I seen one so at peace before. I mean I have only seen one or two at work but, they were captured or worse. Anyways, I must have done something because it suddenly looked up and saw me, whinnied and trotted back in to the woods.
3. I mean I shouldn't have been playing near the lake, but who doesn't love to break the rules every once in a while? And that's when I saw her. The water was clear you understand and not very deep. I was throwing stones in the the water and one of the must have disturbed her nap or something. She had a green tale that shone like metal in the sunlight and she made gestures at me to go away. So I did, but not far. I hid behind a tree a few meters away and I heard her go back under the surface. I sneaked as quietly as I could and peeped over. She had gone back to her shell or bed or something at the bottom.
4. What a day at work I have had. I mean when I say clash of the titans, I mean it! So the McFusty clan had their big Hebridean Black mounts and the O'Whitleys their Abraxans. They were going at it with the spells so we got called. How both of them managed to tame these beasts and ride them, I do not know but we stopped the fighting and took their animals away. It was sad, the animals were obviously so broken for the clans to ride them, I didn't recognize their behaviors. Clear violation of the magical creatures protection act of 1564. We have nursed them though now and will be releasing them back in to the wild soon. Newt was so angry! He said that Wizards like that should have a spell put on them to keep them away from such creatures.
5. Such a delicate creature it was. Small with such long blonde hair. It had a almost leopard pattern on its skin, not one I have come across before. It loved tending to the flowers in the field. If one drooped, it would almost sooth it back to looking perky again. I thought that Fairies only had a little magic for scaring predators but this little one must have been one of a kind. Yes I was tempted to capture it but it was so happy just flitting about in the flowers. No, I didn't want its wings. Yes I need a fresh supply for my next batch of potions but I just want to be ignorant and buy the dried kind in the shop.
