Charities you support

Does anyone give money to charity or support a charity in another way or even wish they could if they had more money?

I have given money for children in need and have done a few sponsered things for it such as a car wash drive, walks and fancy dress

Here we have something which is called "Opération Enfant Soleil" (Sun Children Operation). It's a foundation which raise money for sick children and every year they do a telethon on tv to get money, most of the time they get like... 10 millions lol. I think.. anyway lol. I give them money when I can, and other things like that too.

And my parents often buy chocolate from people who goes from door to door to sell some for a school thing XD

My parents send 18 dollars a month to children in need as well. And evertime we go to McDonald's we drop the change into the Ronald McDonald House box in the drive thru window!

i give money (if i have it) to who ever's collecting

i dont really support any charity though..

I give to the goodwill, and the American Red Cross, and we have fundraisers at our school for childrens hospitial that I do.

Well, one organization I've been supporting for... what, 8 years now? And that's Elämä Lapselle by the organization called Mannerheimin Lastensuojeluliitto. Basically, there's a concert ever year, and I go to it every year. Well, I have for the past 8 years :D And all the money they make, goes for children with cancer and so on. Last year, they tried to support the parents who live far away from the hospitals, by donating money on new houses nearby the hospital so that they could live there. Anyway, usually there's laods of good and famous bands and artists, so it's cool.

At our Junior School we did a pajama day, which was funny as it included the teachers and all profits were given to CHILDREN IN NEED.
