Do you think the mention of him being a duelling champion in CoS might have been foreshadowing for his role in future books?

Perhaps he will duel to help the Order in the fight with Voldie.

I think, though, that you are right with that theory of him. He isnt inthe order though is he?

I don't think he is.. but I dont think he wil have a major part in the last book either so I'm indifferent

he is a good CHarms teacher but hes not mentioned to much! SAD! But hes kool! He has a nice class!

Yeah his class was most helpful to Harry. Flitwick is not a major character but I think he will be mentioned in the next books and there is a potability that he will help Harry out in some way. I don't think he will die he nearly died in HBP so I don't think that will happen though it always could.

I know he helped in the final battle but I can't remember what he did...

He put up defensive charms. I like the little guy he seemed nice.

He's one of those whom I loved! Why? Because a) he's very good at Charms - considering that he's teaching it, b) he might be small - but way better than others who has the height when it comes to his feild, c) he's one of the reasons why we're loving our house so much - Ravenclaw, and d) he's loyal - on the good side all the way.
