ooh good idea for character discussion!

Im actually wondering whether Barty Crouch jr will make a reappearance in the last book as technically he isnt truly dead, he is just without a soul lol

Thats simple - because he was following orders. He needed Harry to do well to get to the center of the maze to get transported to the graveyard

Ya, i know, but why did he make him throw off the Imperious curse? That didnt make sense.. wouldnt he want Voldy to be able to control him?

I agree with Katie. He taught Harry how to defend himself against dark curses. Why would he do that? Unless he was just curious to Harry's powers? It just doesn't add up to me.

If he was curious to Harry's powers he would only have to do it once right? He didnt have to train him

I dont think he trained Harry as such, I think he was pushing him too see how much power he had in him so he could report back to the dark lord

Why do you think he becaome a deatheater. His mother obviously loved him, and he seemed to be talented, and wealthy, he doesn't seem to be the DE type to me, but I sont know.

They don't explain much about him, in the 5th book, ehich I'm currently
on but i think he is proably like his father. He is probably grouchy!

I don't really understand why he did it maybe becuase he wanted to see what Harry was like for fighting so he could tell the dark lord and maybe he needed to just be like moody.
One thing that everyone always says is why didn't he just get Harry to the dark lord straight away and why it took a whole year. I think it might be becuase Harry was under dumbeldores and snapes watch through out the year.

I totally love this character. I wish we could have seen more of him! The evils make books SO much more interesting! Without them, it would all be ice cream and daisies. Who wants that constantly? XD
