Forbidden Forest

(aye right.)

Shadow picked up Dorothy's body as if it weighed nothing and carried it up to the castle.

"oh, the battle's over. Now, I should proceed as planned."

Hayley apeared beside her. "I'm here," she said

"What are you two up to?" Shadow asked, hanging upside down from a tree.

Hayley jumped, as she saw Shadow. "Oh," she said, "Nothing, just going for a walk, and chatting," she shrugged. "Want to join us?" she asked.

Shadow noticed the jump.
"Unless you'd rather be left alone..."

"No, if you want to come, you can," Hayley replied.

"On second thoughts, I'd better not, I have to meditate." Shadow said.

"Okay," said Hayley. She began to walk, then turned back. "You coming Phoenix?" she asked.

Eliza walked in the forest, accompanied by Zeke.
'Hi.' She said, catching up with them.

Phoenix turned to hayley.
"yeah"

"How are you guys?" Zeke asked. "Is Shadow up in a tree?"

"Aye, Shadow is up a tree." Shadow replied, hanging down, upside down again.

Zeke blinked. "Hullo Shadow. Why do you spend you're time in a tree?"

"It helps me concentrate." Shadow said.

"If you can hang upside down for long enough that is." Shadow said.

Hayley grinned, then turned to Eliza and Zeke. "Hi guys, me and Phoenix were just going for a walk, want to join us?" she asked.

"Sure." Zeke said, and Eliza nodded. "Watch out we don't bump into Grawp..."

"He hasn't been seen a lot around here." Shadow informed them.

"Good," said Hayley, "I know he's harmless, but he's sorta...scary," she added.

Shadow smiled.
"He wasn't that bad."

Hayley nodded. "I get scared at the smallest thing, or in Grawp's case- the biggest," she said smiling.

Shadow nodded.
"Everyone fears something."

"Even Voldy," Hayley said half-smiling.

"Even Mouldy." Shadow said.

Haylely laughed. "I'm scared of clowns as well," she said smiling sheepishly.

Shadow shrugged.
"We shouldn't judge people on their fears."

Hayley nodded. "You're right," she said. "I got laughed at in Muggle school, because of my clown fear," she added sadly. Then she smiled. "I never really cared though."

"I never went to a muggle school." Shadow said thoughtfully. "What was it like?"

"I suppose it was....okay," said Hayley shrugging. "We learnt alot of stuff, but I can't really remember most of it. I just kept waiting for the letter saying I'd been excepted."

Eliza looked up suddenly.
"Dorothy was scared of clowns..." She looked lost in thought and Zeke patted her back a little..

Hayley shuffled from foot to foot akwardly.

"Anyway." Eliza shook her head. "We're nearly at the age to be able to talk to our sprites without havng to talk in our minds... Which is a big step from where my father comes from." She was reffering to Zeke and herself.

"Cool," said Hayley nodding.

"Actually, that;s the day today. Isnt it, Pago?" The ermine said,
"Yes, I've actually been keeping count."

Hayley watched, quite amused. Blueberry poked her head from behind Hayley's cloak. "Hello Pago," she said politely.

Pago bowed his head and said,
"Greetings." Eliza looked amused.

Blueberry suddenly went an odd shade of crimson, then turned back to her shade of dark blue. She bowed her head, and crawled backinto Hayley's inner cloak. Hayley smiled. "Bluberry likes your Pago," she said to Eliza.

Eliza smiled.
"Good choice." Pago said in apparently complete sincerity.

Hayley laughed. Blueberry popped out again, and jumped to the forest floor. She hopped about, then jumped up onto Eliza's shoulder. "Blueberry!" said Hayley.

Eliza stroked the blue rabbit behind the ears, and Pago watched curiousy and with a hint of jealousy.

Blueberry smiled at Pago, and nuzzled her head into his fur.

Pago at first was sullen, but then relented, and let Blueberry.
"Do you know what Pago is?" Eliza asked Hayley on an undertone.

Hayley clicked her fingers, and Blueberry jumped back onto her shoulder. "Not really...why?" she replied.

Hayley heard someone behind her, and turned around. "Hello?" she asked, enquiringly.
