How about lessons on Fortune telling around the globe [pretty much the diffrences from western to eastern fortune telling methods],Astrology,Ailuromancy,Cartomancy ,I Ching divination,Numerology,Ouija board divination,Runecasting / Runic divination, different forms of divination

i is in a divination-ish mood today lol

if you are a seer, make a prediction about someone and then write a drabble on how it came true

You could create a scenario about a character, and students can use clues within the text to 'forsee' what will happen to that character, but the fun part is, you have to act like a seer/fortune teller would while telling this character's future.

Ohh i keep forgetting to pop in here *giggles*

Ginny, we did star signs in the first year, however i will bear your suggestion in mind for a future class or part of one.

Ingrid, the Past Present and Future classes are very similar to your suggestion.

* What could have been if Harry had not suceeded and Voldemort had won

* To predict the future of the trio without use of the final chapter of the last book

* Trelawny predicts her own future - write a prediction of what is to come for her in her own words

* Write a chapter or event from the trios own childrens time at hogwarts

* Choose one of the next generation and predict their life story

* What was Dudleys dementor vision as seen in the final book

* Bellatrix in another time - what made her so mad and evil and what would she have been like if this event never occured

* Same with Voldemort if he had never gone to the orphanage

* What if Neville had been the chosen one Rewirte th last part of the DH book as if Neville was the one that Voldemort picked

* Teddy Lupin Tonks' future

* Aurors new job description and/or application for the job

umm i dont know if this has been suggested or not but we could right an essay on the crystal ball,tea leaves,and palm reading

Alright so it's for both Arithmancy and Divination XD But what if you have an essay class or discussion or something that compares and contrasts the differences and similarities of the two. Or maybe if it's a discussion which one each person prefers and why they find it more useful XD. *shrugs*
