Ollivander

Ollivander, as everybody knows was kidnapped by presumably DE's or Voldemort is very interesting. He has a very good memory and I wonder why they kidnapped him. But the fact that Voldy might need a new wand is a big possibilty.

yes, but I have noticed that the shop has been open for thousands of years, does he have a sorcer's stone?

I don't think so...we would have heard more about that by now. We have heard a lot about the stone and i really don't think he has one...

There was only a single stone I believe which was in possesion with Dumbledore and Flamel. I believe his vanishment is likely to be more for Voldemort needing to understand more from the spell of between his and Harry's wand in the graveyard

i really don't know... somehting to think about....maybe like u need to study transfiguration, and charms.

yea, but I wonder how they know which pheonix to use and which woods and what the wand will be good for, thats a lot to know

yeah the more he knows the more voldy baldy wants him. I mean if he new some special spell for the best wand making, voldemort would put him in very high prority

he would be high priority anyway, he is now stopping the good side from getting the best wands which are a crucial tool in dueling and cracking the "code" of the horcruxes.

I was thinking maybe voldemort kidnapped him because ever time voldemort tries to duel with Harry prior incantam happens and ollivander knows all about wands so he could know what to do.

I'm so glad that he didn't die. I was really worried about him. He playe dmore of a part in the last book than I thought he would.

I'm glad he didn't die either though sometimes he scares me with the way he does things.

How does he scare you.. he seems kind of old and kindly and wise to me..

I don't know exactly how to explain it but sometimes he scares me though I do believe he is kind (don't ask how those fit together!)

Maybe he intimiadates you.. because thats different. I think that I was intimidated of him at first.. he's so wise its kind of unnerving.

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed that what I always thought of as hints about Ollivander never came to anything. I always wanted to know more about him. I never actually liked him, in fact quite the opposite. Before Deathly Hallows, I actually wondered if he was on the side of the death eaters. He always seemed a little questionable to me and he, therefore, fascinated me. Ah well. Jo is known for her red herrings.

I agree with Pamela. He just creeps me out!!!!
