| We have studied the use of Transfiguration at work, now i'd like you to write in 300-600 words about a magical job, the usefulness of transfiguration that specifically relates to that profession, and the types of transfiguration you would use and what that transfiguration does. This is worth 40 points | |

| Auror As you may know Auror are the brave people you go and catch deatheaters before they can cause too much problems. These brave people don’t only do that but also take care of vicious creatures that a normal wizard would not be able to do. Auror’s live dangerous lives and without Transfiguration they wouldn’t be able to do as many of the things they can. They have to go through tough training that they will have to rely on when they are out doing good. There are many ways an auror would need to use Transfiguration at work. They could use it to hide their appearance so no one would know what they looked like. All they had to do is change the shape of their nose or give themselves a wooden leg just to thrown off their enemies. They could also change an object they find on the floor into an eye patch or hat. If they did this then they could sneak into deatheater’s gathering and not be recognized. Also they might even have to turn into an animal to get by. If they turned into an animal they would be able to dig under fences if they turned into a dog or even swim in the water for long periods of time if they turned into a fish. This way they would be able to know what is going on with Voldemort and his deatheaters followers. .Also if the auror runs into a dark creature that’s trying to kill him then he could done of many things. One is that he could turn this deadly creature into something less destructive. But there are some creatures that can not be turned into something else because they are protected by spells. In this case the Auror would have to turn some object near him or himself into something that would help him get away. If he knew enough Transfiguration he would be able to get out of this though spot. | |

| Transfiguration in Healing
Transfiguration as a Healer is of utmost importance. Transfiguration is basically changing the form of one thing to another, whether permanently or temporarily. This method could advance Healing so far as to change the injury, if it is life threatening, to something smaller and easier to cope with. To fully heal a complicated injury, Muggle doctors tackle it bit by bit, starting with the most complex. If you were to use transfiguration as an aid to healing, you would temporarily cast aside the minor injuries and focus on just one at a time. Healing in general is simply knowing the right spells and transfiguration methods to best close a wound. Every day, Healers use transfiguration (or more specifically, conjuration) to close up wounds and create new skin, bone, muscle and other various tissues needed in the body. Conjuration is a precise branch of transfiguration, where the air in a region is transfigured into other objects in different states of matter (solid, liquid, gas, or a combination). Healers could revolutionise Muggle science as anonymous organ “donators”. It would be a complex job, but one that any healer worth their salt could carry out. To produce a living and healthy organ, it takes years of practise and intricate knowledge of the organ, not to mention the different chemical and physical structures of the organelles themselves. DNA would be particularly hard to reproduce, as well as the antigens on the cells that cause organ rejection. However, if organisms can naturally replicate or copy their structures exactly with a negligible chance of mutation, it must be possible to do the same with a bit of magic. Therefore, Transfiguration is crucial in the Healing processes of major to minor injuries, and also to do our best to help other cultures (mainly Muggle) to acquire the resources to save the lives of people that could be Healed in a second if they were magical.

| Transfiguration in being an Auror Transfiguration could probably one day save your life, if used appropriately. For example, if you are running from an opponent, an easy way to get them off your back is to transfigure the ground you are running on into ice and your shoes into ice skates. Such a spell would be rather obscure, and thus would be hard for the enemy to counter. Furthermore, if it is known that a certain criminal has a phobia of spiders (like Ronald Weasley), and you see an anthill, it might be beneficial to transfigure the ants in the anthill into spiders, which would essentially freeze or at least distract the criminal.
Animagi is another way that Transfiguration can be used by Auror. It is the perfect disguise for spying, unless someone has the Marauder’s Map for the area of interest, in which case, nothing could really help. If your animagus form is small, then you can easily hide away, and if you were large, it could potentially help in attacking enemies, seeing as not that many people would expect a bear to attack you. This would give you both the advantage of surprise and also the advantage of the opponent wizard not knowing what to do to fight off a wild animal. If you have a bird form, or as Rita Skeeter is, a bug form, you can easily get into higher areas to spy, and can also potentially become a pet of the enemy, as Peter Pettigrew did.
Transfiguration also includes conjuring. If you need something to hold something that is cursed, or to save your life, transfiguration is the way to go. Since it would be hard to maintain a levitation charm on multiple things, you can simply conjure boxes that would contain the curses and place the cursed objects into the boxes.

| Transfiguration in Magical Law Enforcement Squad
Transfiguration can be very helpful in the day to day duties of the wizard police. It can make trailing suspects easier, since you can change the appearance of your vehicle or broomstick at will. Wizard police can change their clothing at anytime to blend in with surroundings, or to alter their appearance to avoid detection when undercover. The ability to transform a stack of boxes into, let's say, a herd of stampeding rhinos could be useful when trying to cause a distraction or diversion. Transfiguration also helps in apprehending the criminal. Instead of using dangerous spells to disarm or stop someone from fleeing, merely transform them into a slug. It is painless for the accused, and it can be reversed quite easily. Of course it is best to make sure to collect the criminal in his or her transformed state before they can be stolen, thrown away or stepped on. The Magical Law Enforcement Squad always tries to use non-violent methods to capture suspected criminals, and transfiguration is one of their best ways to get someone to come along nice and quietly. Once you have a suspect in custody then transfiguration can be used to get jailhouse confession by altering a tape recorder to resemble a potted plant or a broken light fixture. Once we have the tape recorder in place it is simple matter of allowing the suspect to blab to fellow inmates in order to get a confession. The Magical Law Enforcement Squad also give lectures to the Use of Magical Defense classes on how to use transfiguration to deter thieves. In these classes wizard police show how a witch or wizard can turn their purses or wallets into ferocious beasts, like the muggle porcupine, to scare away would be purse snatchers. Transfiguration can help prevent crime before it starts, and to stop it from happening in the future. It is the one tool that wizard police need above all others.

| Creature Creation
Creatures creation is the art of bringing into the world a whole new different being. The business of a creature creation is a very dangerous one like transfiguration so many things can go wrond and we could end up in a really bad situation. Creatures creation involves a lot of different types of magic besides transfiguration. Now how exactly does transfiguration helps in the process of creatures criation? It’s very simple, through transfguration we can change a already existing creaturre body part by a another creature body part. Creature creation also helps to develop transfiguration becasue besides using the already known methods of transfiguration it discovers new ones by the try and fail method so untill we reach the final creature a lot of tries are made along the way and diferent methods are discoveres like new wand movements and new spells. So we can say Creatures creation contributes to the evolution of transfiguration. I think a practical example is required. For my last creation I grabbed a Doxy and transfigurated it’s thick black hair into scales into snake scales but untill I got the right wand movement I discovered how to change it to human skin and fish scales. I also change the doxy’s extra pair of arms and legs into crab memebers of course it took a lot of tries and failures but was only possible thanks to transfiguration methods.
