Your personality reflects upon you animagus form. You may have an animal in mind of which you would want to take, yet if it does not match your personality then there is a big possibility that you will not take that animagus form.

The following is a simple character personality assesment used within both muggle and magical tests. Answer as honestly as possible. It may be that your whole idea of what animagus you may be will change.


Part 1

For each trait you'll rate your character from a scale of 1-10 for both the negative and postive trait. For example, if your character is a 10 on jealous and covetous, they would be a 0 on wish everyone the best. If they are 4 on cheap, they would be 6 on generous.

-Wolf-
I would make a good wolf because I'm loyal and protecting, I help other as much as I can somtimes though the wolf would care for more its self then the creatures around it, as I do some and most times. It is stubborn and when it wants something it wants it, and will most likely go after it until it gets it. I would love to be a wolf.

-Mountain Lion-
Loners really, but it's stubborn and ferice you wouldn't want to face a mountain lion on its bad day. They take the risks that sometimes cost them their lives but in the end they usually come out on top. I wouldn't mind to be a mountain lion but it suits me, I don't know why but it does.

-horse-
Stubborn and free hearted, you pull this way they pull that way. They know where they're going, ever heard of "Take us home," I have cowboys tell this to their horses when ever they're lost. They understand to, and optimistic looking for the good things(finding sugar cubes for example). I like horses, it wouldn't be terrible to be one

I feel I would be a good lioness because I am a natural leader and protective of my self and my friends. I would lead the pack and take care of my children. I am ambitious enough to go after that bit of food and make sure I really do a good job

-Dolphin
I am sociable, and would lead the pod to a fun time or food. I would love to play games with my friends and sense these animals are os vocal I would fit right in. And in danger I would calm everybody down, and find out what was wrong.

-Dog
I really don’t want to be a dog, but I feel it fits me because, dogs, are leaders, and calming, and can make others feel good when they are in need or sick. I would be able to make others feel better and get the job done right.

I think that a dog would fit my personality pretty well. Apart from the fact that they are very easily excitable and hyper, they are very generous beings, just like the dogs that are trained to help blind people or to rescue those who are trapped after an avalanche or things like that.

Tigers are very playful and passionate animals. They love to play game – even if that game is in fact chasing a zebra and… oh poor thing… anyway – and they always do everything with lots of energy, with passion.

Wolves are animals that are very loyal. They stay in group and they never leave one behind. As playful and hyper as they can be – especially wolf cub – they are also very mature animals, graceful and calm. There can be many personalities in only one wolf and I think that fits with me because I have more than one personality as well.

Part 3

Lioness: I would personally love to be a lioness because it fits my personality so much. Lionesses are in general, hunters and the lion (King of the Jungle) is a proud and just over his/its subjects. Lions are leaders and are always have the qualities of a good and fair leader. I think I have many of these qualities and I would feel really privileged to become a lion in my animagus form.

A Monkey: I think the liveliness and happiness that I have a lot of would come through in my monkey form. It may not be a perfect match, but if I could change my monkey’s personality to suit my own if necessary. Monkeys are carefree, and cute and have no concerns in life...I have concerns, but they generally tend to be small and things that I can fix. They are not worryers and almost to the point of being complacent, neither am I.

Phoenix: I think that the phoenix is one of the most pure and “goodest” creatures that has ever graced this earth. They are loyal, kind, giving, encouraging and intelligent. Similar to a lion in many respects, their personalities are proud and calm. They would go to any lengths to protect others and for my friends and family, so would I. Being a phoenix would come in very useful for my future Healing career as they shed tears when they see anyone in pain, healing them almost instantly. I would love to be a phoenix.

Dog (african in particular)
Looking at the top scorers on the test, one of the animals which came up with the magority of the traits is a dog, an african one particularly. They are always small in size with standing ears. This shows that they are very alert and sensitive to their surroundings. They protect their 'family' whether it be other dogs or humans and are extremely straightforward. A dog is also classed as mans best friend, which goes in with all my top traits.

Unicorn
An extremely positive and pure creature, matching many of my high positive traits. A unicorn is also extremely humble and loyal and very considerate to those who treat it right. When left alone, the unicorn is very peaceful and happy and is often either a lonar or happy with only those it knows and trusts. Unicorns are often overly trusting, especially in a young unicorns mind, something which again, reflects upon my personality.

Robin
Robins are kind, considerate and very loving towards their babies. They are hard working and extremely humble and generous which matches my personality well. Robins are also very small and can fly away and hide at will, something which my personality holds dear!

The Bear: I believe my personality fits well to the bear. They are brave creatures, yet sometimes fearful, they are protective and yet often dangerous if pushed. They can be shy and are fast and strong.

The Cat: Again I believe my personality fits well with a cat. They are loyal animals but will do things in their own tie, they know what they want and show affection when they chose. Even if that means waking their owner up at 6am for cuddles XD

The Monkey: Although not a complete match to my personality I still think its close. Monkeys are fun and lively, they are always happy and playful, even mischievous at times, they do however have a nasty streak and are known to kill or attack other monkeys in their group (I found that out off animal planet btw )

Despite my agressive and sometimes egotistic behavior, I hold onto certain traits that I feel are necessary. I don't like to back down from a fight, nor do I tolerate being under the control of someone else. I am a free thinker and that is why I can be myself. Honesty is something I am big on and though sometimes my brutal honesty can hurt feelings, I would think truth is best. I may not always been so forward on some opinions but that is just me. But these ranked highest so I am assuming that it's because of my personality. I am not controlling and am easy going cuz I don't expect everyone to follow my lead. Though, I am more of a leader than follower.

Dragon-Dragons have true strength and can be easy going provided that you do not antagonize them or do something to anger them. They are brave and powerful. They can be somewhat intimidating to an extent. They're smart and free thinkers and not easy to control. They don't seek to control others, they just simply protect themselves from those who try to take control of them.

Bear-The bear can be vicious but also easy going. With their cubs and groups, most tend to get along harmoniously and not start fights. Though when they are faced with a challenge they do not back down and generally are brave.

Lion-Lion is a natural leader and one creature that can be easy going one moment and agressive the next. Known of as the King of Beasts, the lion's strength and bravery are two of its most noteable traits. They protect their prides.

I feel I connect stronger with the dragons though only time will tell what my true animagus shall be.

I can be funny at times and this is because I am completely at ease with who I am and what I am doing. I am also stubborn, and if being a certain way will make me happy I will stick to it no matter what. I do not like to change my decisions once they’re made, and resent being told I must do something. I am usually unorganized but about twice a year I will madly organize everything I own, only to have it become a complete mess a few weeks later. Coyote: Although they have been hunted a lot, coyotes merely enlarged their territory since the humans began taking over. This relates to my stubborn personality; they will do what they have to do in order to stay happy. Coyotes are usually not very violent towards humans, despite the fact that they often live in urban areas. This relates to my even-tempered trait. And coyotes are reputed to be mischievous animals, which is how I sometimes act when I am feeling secure and happy.

Racoon: The racoon relates to my stubborn personality in the same way the coyote does. Although the cities have taken over their territory, they have adapted rather than died out. They are known to be pests because they can make quite a mess turning over garbage cans. This directly relates to my unorganized trait. If left in a house they will be wild and they will wreck anything they can get their little paws on. But they are happy little critters and adapt well to whatever comes their way.

Flying Squirrel: Squirrels seem to be happy, always scampering around. The gliding would help them to feel peaceful, I think, and they sometimes collect so many nuts and seeds for the winter that they don’t end up using them all. This would relate to my unorganized trait.

My character is mostly friendly but also very competitive and confrontational. I do my best to help others work out their problems but I am sometimes opinionated and they may not like hearing what I have to say. I do what I think will benefit me but I am willing to bend a bit with the right people to assist them in acheiving their goals. I am a risk taker and very up front and that sometimes gets me into trouble. I have a temper and when pushed too far and may bite the hand that feeds me as I tend to be quite stubborn. I am full of energy and have a pretty good sense of humor and I enjoy the funner things in life but know that work comes first before play.


Part 3


WOLF
Wolves are beautiful and strong creatures that are superior hunters and quite confrontational. They stick together in packs to become even stronger in their fight for survival but will go it alone if they have to. The wolf is a high energy animal that is confrontational when it comes to taking on a leader role and also when standing up against their enemies or when approaching prey. They take many risks while confronting others in their species, not knowing which the stronger will be and who will come out on top in the end. The wolf is very dominant and I believe a lot like myself in quite a few ways.

FOX
The fox is a sly, cunning and beautiful creature that I admire a great deal. It has many traits that are closely associated with beloved Slytherin house. Stealthy and sly hunters make up a huge characteristic of this creature. They slink into the night to sneak up on their prey and are usually quite successful. The fox is a confrontation animal but not as much so as the wolf. I tend to swing on both sides of the spectrum so I am beginning to think the fox may be the perfect animagus for me, as a Slytherin witch.
The fox, like the wolf is also a risk taker, high energy, a sufficent hunter and competitive. They do what they can to ensure their survival. They are wonderful cretaures who inhabit the night. Slinking quietly to be able to sneak up on anything, no matter what that other thing is.

SWAN
For my third creature I have decided to chose one that suits my postive characteristics so I have selected the swan. The swan is a graceful and friendly creature. It glides majestically along the waters with a magical presence. The swan is know to make people feel happy just by simply wittnessing it's elegance. The swan holds it's head up high which shows me the high self esteem it most likely has. It's gentle nature is rather uplifting. I do see myself somewhat like the swan but the negitive characteristic I have do go quite a bit away from the swan's persona.

4. To be honest it hasn't taught me all that much, because I don't tend to believe in tests like this. I suppose that makes me more of a 'cynic', however looking at the results it seems I am generally a more positive than negative person, which I would say is true.

Part 3

Dog
Much as I hate to put this as the first animal that springs to mind, because of the negative connotations associated with calling someone a 'dog', this is the one that comes to mind when I look at some of the traits listed and my scores. Dogs are generally generous, giving animals - they will give love in return for nothing but a little bit of attention. They are also determined. Have you ever seen a dog try to do something, be it hunt out the bone it buried or try to fit through the cat flap? They will keep on trying until they succeed. I think that if I were to eventually take a dog as my animal form, I wouldn't be upset, but I wouldn't be ecstatically happy either. A dog is playful and always confident and outgoing around people, which as a rule, I'm not. I wouldn't complain though if this were to be my final form.

Hare
I think a hare links to some of my personality traits, not only because in the Chinese calendar, this is my year, but for other reasons as well. It could be said that hare's are optimistic. They don't live in burrows, preferring to make their home amongst the long grasses and dips in the countryside land. This could be dangerous - foxes or other hunters might very well find them there, and unlike rabbits and badgers, they would have nowhere to retreat to. Something that a hare has that I don't is the speed of running though! If I were to become a hare, I would be quite happy; they can run fast and get away from predators, they are small and so could hide away easily - the only thing I don't think I would like are the big ears!

Dolphin
Finally a dolphin, linking mainly to the trait "make others uneasy" which I only scored 1 point for. Dolphin's are said to have calming effects - why else would people swim with them to try and heal themselves. They are also intelligent creatures, and not wanting to sound egotistical, I believe this fits me moderately well. I don't think I would be too happy to become a dolphin though. Think of the inconvenience - you would have to be near water every time you transformed, and whilst swimming free might be fun the first few times, when all your friends are off running around in the forest or flying in the air, you'll be stuck in the water.

Dragon- (course im gonna pick this one) We both are protective of things. Im protectve of friends and dragons of treasure. We both get a firey anger when we are pushed too far.

Dog-
As much as I really, really, really hate to say this, I do relate a dog (the few that aren’t evil, I’m serious, most are evil). They are very loyal and trusting, and generous. They forgive easily, and are often disciplined after a given amount of time. For the most part they have a calming effect on most people, and a defender. Like most animals they also have a sort of purity, that make them tolerant and kind. As you may have guessed, I am not really particularly happy with this choice. How am I suppose to be able to change into an animal if I am deadly afraid of it? I would be most unhappy if this turned out to be my final result.

Cat-
The choice of a cat matches more up with my negative traits then my positive ones. They are often moody, one minute they want to be petted the next they want down. Also they are stubborn, if it wants something it won’t give up till it gets it (even if it means jumping in front of a computer screen because it wants to be petted, or fed again). For the most part they are trusting animals, but it differs from cat to cat. They are also straightforward, like I said when they want something they let you know. Over all I’m happy with this result, I do love cats and wouldn’t mind at all if this turned out to be my final result. Though, I do find it a bit ironic that I have both cat and dog as possibilities, which might represent my often split personality.

Mule-
Mules are just as stubborn as horses which made both of them a possibility at first, however I noticed that mules also have other traits listed above that apply more to me. Mules are more mature, and uptight. More work then play, which is how I am. They are a bit overly serious, such as I am, and practical. Also, I’d associate them with opinionating because of the fact that they are so stubborn, as well as being pretty controlling and not as laid back as some other animals. If I were to get this as a result, I wouldn’t mind it at all. Really, I have no problems with mules so I don’t really have any negative feelings about the possibility of this becoming my final result.

Although my character is driven and ambitious, she does not seek the spotlight, she prefers to encourage others, rather than leading them, yet she has the qualities of a good leader.... my character is a bit uncomfortable in the highest postition, perferring to merely be an energetic wingman.

Dog- Many breeds of dogs would cover the qualities of my characteristics, but I am thinking a Golden Retreiver or and Irish Wolfhound would be the best, they are great dogs that can be very energetic, but also give out an air of happiness and maturity...plus as far as animagus go a dog would be easy to use as cover.
Rabbit- Not thrilled with the idea of a fluffy tale, but the animal definately fits in with the whole energetic and fun characteristics...plus as a fairly small animal it would be easy to gain entrance into restricted areas, and a good size to hide oneself....
Firefly- hey, a bug worked for Rita Skeeter! This size would be ideal for getting into anywhere the Order of the Phoenix wants to go. The brightness of the bug goes towards my sunny disposition...my only fear is that I would be too easily squashed...hmmm...

And the only time I’m good towards another is when I know I’ll need that person for something.







Manticore

This is one of the creatures that relates perfectly to me! Dangerous to other humans I also use others to achieve what I want no matter what it costs to the other person; a lonelier his dangerous nature makes it a lonely creature avoided by others; of great power my magical skills keep growing by the day; tyranny the weak ones aren’t so be spared; and envy which ranks really high on my personality list traits as there’s much I want to have that others have.


Chimera

I relate a lot the chimera due to is diversely nature. I feel like that myself, I have lots of different and divergent characteristics I feel like a confluence of feelings. The chimera outlooks could perfectly portray my inside. Like the Chimera and also like the Manticore I too can be an omen of bad luck to others around me, my desire for power is a lonely path and people around me can get hurt on the way.


Dragon

Again treachery and envy but now we add anger which is one of the things that gets me ticking! Independence, leadership and strength all things I aspire too and work for. Wisdom my constant quest for knowledge contributes largely for my wisdom which will only increase with time. Dragon’s too are known human killers but also can cooperate at times and be bended which demonstrate my pliable youth though I guess with time I’ll get even more stubborn inflexible.

hmmm. well lions are dicaplined and kinda think of their young more then any other animal. PLus they have a temper and such. That could be one I guess. Or maybe a wolf they think of the pack and are leaders. So I guess that could be another possibility. (its hard for me to think of animals) Turtle because they are slow but when they do stuff they do it right so they are kinda motivated kinda not and diciplined I guess.
