Yes, just say it! You knew I would open up a thread on the great Alan Rickman (although I am not obsessed lol)

Alan is probably best known to many people as the great severus snape in the HP films, though this stage and screen actor has appeared in many different things, proving himself as an amazing actor

I agree with you Elfie on this! He is one of the best actors out there on the market today! It seems he can play any role perfectly from comedy to the darkest of roles. And let's not forget that voice of his! It sends shivers down my spine...*DIES*....

See thats one thing about him that Im not overly fussed on - his voice, yet it does fit perfectly with a lot of his roles!

Alan Rickman is a legend ! The guy is just so fantastic !

Some notable Alan performances are Die Hard, Robin Hood, Love Actually, Michael Collins, Dogma, Galaxy Quest, and Truly Madly Deeply.
He's recently appeared in Perfume.

And it's hard not to mention that he provided the voice of Marvin in HitchHickers Guide to the Galaxy. Fantastic movie !

i adore Alan, the only film of his i didnt like was An Awfully Big Adventure, somehow i just didnt think the film suited him, if that makes sense. And god i loved him in Perfume! and yes now that i think about it, i just cant get enough of Robin Hood or Dogma or wait for it ........ BlowDry :D :D :D :D :D

Alan Rickman is the best! You cant fault his performances. Whatever is thrown his way he takes up the challenge perfectly

I watched Dogma yesterday. I love that movie, and he is amazing in it. "Hence all the spitting." I love it when she covers him in fire extinguisher foam.

In the movies that I have seen him in, he does great character roles. He's a rather dynamic actor.

I saw him in that michel collins film (we watched it in history class)) and I thought he was as amazing in it as he is as Snape in HP. I thought his Irish accent was great!! Hehe
