To Kill a Mocking Bird

Im doing this book for school but its really interesting.

Has anyone else read it?

I'm also doing this book - how far have you got? It's a really good portrayal of the way black and white people are treated differently in South America, seen through the eyes of a young girl. Definitely worth reading, although possibly not at school!

My mum just brought this to me so I'll read it soon! Yay!

EDIT: Now I did read it - and I loved it! It's a bit of everything, funny, serious, thrilling... you know, just reading the trial made me think .. "mmm....I could study law" ...well, I'm not so sure about that now anymore (well, it's been about 1 week and a half since I've read the book XD) ... but anyway it was... wow....! :D

i read the book and saw the movie. Both was good

We're doing this in school, but we all have a part. I'm playing Scout.

I had to read it last year and i finished it with a day or two. Even though everyone else took 3 weeks because the teacher told us not to read ahead. But who doesnt want to read about aomething that "supposley" happen in your hometown?

Yeah, but the play sucked. It rain the day we went to watch it so we watched the court sence. Yeah I lost my book because we were allow to use it on some parts but I thank my lucky stars that I had already read the book. The movie though, The court house looked just like the old court house here. Well ofcourse its suppose to but it didnt look any diffrent that you wouldnt think it wasnt made in Monroeville.

I read a little bit of the book but I never read the whole thing, I wanna watch the movie so I can see the courthouse, i like to see stuff from my hometown in a movie or something because we aren't in anything because we are such a smal town but i saw Heaven's Fall and whenever they showed a courthouse scene I would say I stoo right there where that actor is standing one time, but To Kill A Mocking Bir is pretty good

I've read this book like 3 times with different schools. I like it, it's a good story, especially because it's true. I've seen the movie twice, also with school, and I appreciate the storyline. Everytime I read it, people always ask me if my family was in the KKK and stupid things like that because they all know that I have family in Alabama and that I've lived there, but you can't help their ignorance..
