One thing I didn't expect- John Krasinski is in it! And He had, like, TWO lines! He's some sort of script-writer-guy... he's the guy that's with that guy with the crazy hair... Sam Walsh is his character's name Dreamgirls 436937

I saw this today - it was really good!

The girl who played Effie had an AMAZING voice, and I thought Beyonce was good in this - why does she waste her vocal talent singing rubbish songs?

I saw this movie on Christmas with my cousins and my sister. Great movie but it should have been one of those 4 hours VH1 movies you see about the Temptations. It was a bit too long but the singing was great. Beyonce wasn't all that - I wasn't too impressed with her - she had one major song that I love but that was it. Jennifer Hudson completely outshinned her in this movie. For only making it 7th on American Idol she already has a Golden Globe and a nomination for an Academy Award - props to her! It is rumored she threw away the competition at American Idol to have a spot in this movie but we'll never really know.

Finally got around to seeing this gem of a movie last Tuesday.
I was blown away by how fantastic it actually was. Yes, parts of it were incredibly cheesey and Beyonces acting was sometimes just a little melodramatic (then again, what else is there to expect from a movie adaptation of a musical?). But overall this movie, for me, was fantastic.

Jennifer Hudson was amazing. Ole Eddie Murphy was also quite fantastic !
